We ordered our wedding cake from Cassandra Cakes Co and were super happy with everything! We went through several cake tastings with different bakers and ultimately chose Cassandra Cakes for their experience and delicious cake! We communicated with them through email and they were always very prompt and clear in their responses. I wanted a very specific design for the cake and they definitely made it come to life. Everything was perfect! The cake wasn't in the best condition by the time we ate it at the wedding, but that was expected because we picked up the cake a day in advance and it sat on display during our wedding for a long time. I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I still enjoyed it though :) Would definitely recommend them for any events!

I stopped by for their afternoon tea service and it is one of the better options outside of Vancouver. The selection was great and I was impressed at their savoury food selection. The flavours were good. I was surprised at the quality of the fried chicken for a bakery. It was actually made well. The sweet selection was very tasty as well and I could taste the quality of the ingredients used. Ambiance was cute with the pink theme. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan to return when they update their seasonal afternoon menu again.

A very cute place for high tea and cakes I was in the area and came across this beautiful bakery The Earl Grey eggnog cupcake and it was so tasty. It was soft, fresh and not too fragrant The buttercream had a hint of Eggnog and not too overpowering I would come back for their high tea.

Cassandra Cakes Co is the new bakery establishment in Port Coquitlam. She was the champion in a Food Network show, the Big Bake. She won the prize and used it to open her own bakery. The interior is pink and feminine. There are lots of teapots and teacup decorations. The staff were very happy and friendly. They offer mini cupcakes, full sized cupcakes, brownies, cookies, baked goods and coffee/tea. They also have wedding cake tastings available and full cakes starting at $40. I came in for their Grand Opening and it was a success! There were LOTS of people lined up inside the store, music playing and beautiful wedding cakes stored in the fridge. I will come again for cake slices, friendly service and feminine ambiance! Cassandra and her team showed excellence in customer service.

I've ordered a birthday cake from Cassandra Cake Co before, which I was really happy with, and I was able to do so again this past weekend for my daughter's 5th birthday. I looked through their past cakes on social media and found a mermaid cake she had previously designed that I knew my little girl would love. I thought the cake was so beautiful online but in person, it was even more intricate and whimsical and pictures don't do it justice. It was a hit with my daughter and our guests and everyone mentioned how perfect the buttercream tasted, not overly sweet like a lot of buttercreams you would eat on most cakes. The cake inside was moist and not too heavy. Just a beautiful and sweet piece of art and great service from the ladies at the bakery. I was so satisfied with the cake and the service, I would highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co if you want to wow your guests (and the guest of honour!) with a delicious, beautiful and quality cake.

First time here, and I must say it's a small and cozy spot. I love that they offer both indoor and…read moreoutdoor seating. I asked the server/barista what the popular savoury items are to try. She recommended: Rosemary garlic pull-apart, and that was REALLY GOOD. Definitely a 5/5. French onion pull-apart, 4/5. Fig, brie, and prosciutto croissant, 4/5 (wife's favourite). Croque monsieur, 4/5 (kids' favourite). I also ordered an oat milk latte with vanilla syrup, which was 5/5. Really good latte!!! They source their coffee beans from "Honest to Pete," located in Vancouver. A 1 lb bag costs $25, and I'm planning to pick one up on my next visit!

While their pastries/cakes are on the pricier side, the quality was really good. The dark chocolate raspberry mousse ($8.25) was decadent and rich without being overly sweet and honestly their canele tasted pretty much like the one I had in France! The matcha latte here (~$5.50) also was better (less milky and had a stronger matcha flavour) than some other cafes in the area. Overall, a pretty solid cafe in the Coquitlam area though you might need to check ahead for pastry availability.

This place should advertise the small as mini in all honesty - because even for a small - food portion was disappointing. I've had a lot of salty peppery nuggets on my journeys and this one stole the cake - for being one of the most disappointing... partly based on portion for dollar value - but mainly I was trying to figure out when they were made - because they really tasted fresh from the microwave - and that's a huge NO for me Thai milk tea was more on the bitter end - and that was surprising as I forgot to ask for 1/2 sweet so I was ready for a sugar rush from the condensed milk - but to my surprise it was a very bitter - heavy black tea taste to it- and the pearls was not something to write home about... https://www.instagram.com/vanleo.eatsfood1015/ I am glad they are a gem for the locals nearby - however for someone who went out of the way to give it a go - I was disappointed. Let me know what the must tries are - so I know what to order if i venture to this part of town again !

The cheapest in van is $3.99 but average is still $5 so this place costs about average. However they dont put enough of the powder. I've had worse and really watered down. This is somewhere in between. Definitely can benefit by adding more powder. Have yet to try other stuff but looking forward to fresh fruit smoothies since a lot of bbt places don't do that.
