Newly opened Korean coffee place on Main and 36th. Parking is available on Main, as well as the side streets. The venue is big. Probably one of the largest coffee shops in town (comparable to La Foret in Burnaby, Jubilee location). Interior is nice and modern, with bare concrete floors and high ceilings. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints. Coffee is quite decent here. With that said, the one HUGE glaring flaw with this place is the washroom. Not sure if the women's side is also like this, but whoever designed the men's room needs to go back to architecture school. There are 2 stalls, and there is literally no room to get into either stall, as the architect didn't leave any room inside the stall to stand when the stall doors swing open (inwards). One almost has to step on the toilet seat to get inside. My friends and I definitely weren't happy. I also heard multiple other customers grumbling about the same issue as as they walked out of the washroom. Knock 1 star off the review. In fact, I'm tempted to knock 2 stars off. Yes, this is how bad the washroom soured the experience for me and my friends. If the owner is reading this, please please PLEASE fix this. This is actually enough to stop us from coming back.
The cafe is very large with lots of seating but it's very popular as well! There's a lot of outdoor seating too. They have an extensive menu and I tried the tiramisu latte which was too sweet for my liking and tasted like a creamier mocha. They had a great selection of pastries and cakes, we tried the lemon tart and seasonal corn soboro croissant. The corn croissant was delicious, sweet yet salty. They have a lot of deals (coffee deal before 10 am, pastry deal when purchasing more than 4 or 6 items) but it became a little overwhelming reading all the signage. They also seem to have a large selection of teas you can smell with a puffer glass bottle which was fun to work with.
I have been to the original store in Coquitlam and didn't realize they open another shop here in Vancouver. The place is huge when compared to the one on Schoolhouse/Lougheed. Very spacious with plenty of different types of seating. From cozy little nooks with comfy chairs and low tables to regular tables and chairs and a long communal table. We came on a Monday night and it was 1/4 full. Parking is ok on weeknights but I can imagine it being a nightmare on weekends and weekdays due to the huge construction site next to it. As at the other locations, this place also sells food like salad and sandwiches beside cakes and sweets. We had the chocolate cake and it was dry. $8 was pricey for a small piece and it was not great. The drinks were a bit better but not fantastic either. My friend was given Americano but at a drip coffee price as they stopped brewing drip coffee that night to cut waste. That was a nice touch. I had the matcha latte which looked like a pale dirty green, very different from other places I had. It was quite liquidy. The only bright spot for this place is it provides a place for people to hangout, especially at night.
Came here for a coffee date. Cafe is quite big and tons of baked good selections. Coffee was good. Love the decor. Service is good too.
After seeing the long lineups on the weekends, I had to come try it for myself. I decided to swing by on a weekday while running errands to grab a small bite. The cafe looked very clean, spacious and not too loud which is perfect for a coffee date. There is just enough background noise to chat normally but quiet enough if you want to sit here and read and book or study. It was already in the middle of the day so I didn't get a coffee this time around but I tried the ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was lightly baked with a nice crispy skirt of cheese and a tasty slice of ham. The croissant could have been a little bit flakier for my preference. Looking forward to come back to try out their coffees another time.
Came by after the hype. It was busy and the place has many seats. I'm not sure if I missed it but I didn't see any automatic door button. I had a stroller and had to prop open the door to push the stroller in. They have two doors and I didn't see any button for either doors. That's not good if you're in a wheelchair. The prices are a little higher than I expected and the items are small. The square cakes looked small for $8. The chocolate croissant was small too. The coffee was okay as it was subtle and not bitter. They have food items too, much like the other Korean style coffee place in Burnaby on Jubilee Ave. There are a few coffee places now within 5 blocks so you have choices.
Almond croissant is something you would expect to taste. Butter garlic croissant reminds me of garlic bread. This would pair well with their pasta here. Love their coffee!
Great that they opened this relatively new coffee house a short walk from my home. It is on Main St at 36th Ave...right at the edge of the construction. Came by on a weekday morning. The place is very large with multiple seating options. It has high ceilings and plenty of natural light...I liked how clean and new everything is. I did note a selection of pastries and cakes, but I only had coffee. The coffee was ok...nothing special. While I liked the space, I have no plans to return.
We tried the new C Market the other day. The space is huge, industrial and a great spot to post up to work or enjoy a nice sunny patio coffee. It's quite busy at the moment since it's new so certain times you may be waiting long to put in your order. We arrived before the lunch hour rush and waited about tens mins total. I got an iced matcha latte and my husband a specialty coffee that had salted foam on top. We each got a pastry too, I got the ham and cheese croissant and my husband a plain croissant. We enjoyed our drinks, my husbands was a little too sweet for our liking but I enjoyed my matcha. As the the croissants they weren't very good, the ham in the ham and cheese was almost hard it was really dry and overcooked. I've had flakier and more buttery croissants elsewhere so I likely wouldn't order one again. I'd like to try more of their Korean food menu to see if the food is better than the pastries.
New Korean flagship cafe has just opened, it's the biggest cafe I have ever visited in Vancouver. The interior features a sleek black and white color with marble stone design, creating an elegant , stylish vibe. The menu offers wide range coffee, drinks , pastries and food options. This time, I tried the signature drink - cold black salt cream coffee which gives coffee a unique flavour. The staff are nice but the food service counter definitely needs improvement, although a pager is provided but the orders are not delivered in proper queue order, some drinks or food items are unclaimed without knowing who order them.
A brand new building in the Riley park Main Street area opened an accessible and spacious coffee shop with locally roasted beans. The cafe is huge with ample seating and minimalistic vibes. They are accessible to commuters, wheelchair friendly, and ample parking space. The prices are reasonable with great customer service and the drinks were done extremely well. We were very surprised by the flavours of the melon cloud latte. We will come back to try more drinks and pastries.
Walking in the restaurant is open and inviting and has lots of seating options. I didn't have a wait to order but the person taking my order was distracted taking a while to punch it in and the line was quickly building behind me. I got an ube latte and muffin and my husband got a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I clearly told her it was to go. My drink was provided to me in a glass cup and when I kindly reminded the barista it was to go, he simply poured it into a to go cup and there went the latte art. I even checked with my husband if I said to go or not and he confirmed I cleared mentioned this. My latte was ok. Nothing special and a bit on the sweet side. They charge extra for non cow milk. Sweet Thea 1 block down did away with that with the starbuck's lawsuit so there's that. My husband sandwich was sad looking and he said it was not worth the price. Everything was on the pricier side but quality didn't match. I want to give this place another try but upon seeing the lower star reviews, it sort of validated my experience and I'm not sure if I will give it a second try.
Delicious pastries and coffee just like the other location. We tried a variety of their goods such as the honey garlic loaf and ube latte. Unique flavours that you can't find in other places. This spot is definitely much closer to me and will revisit

Disappointed with this location, especially if you're looking for a spot to study or get work done. The venue is huge with lots of seating and even a dedicated meeting space, but the WiFi is practically non-existent (even the staff admitted it's terrible). The seating also isn't very comfortable for sitting long periods. We tried the Garlic Butter Croissant, but it was super bready with zero pastry layers. The garlic aroma was strong (which was nice), but it felt loaded with a heavy, greasy fat that didn't taste like real butter. The hot food options looked decent, but I'd skip it as a workspace or bakery spot. read more

Been wanting to check this place out for awhile. Finally got around to it. Love that there's free covered parking at this place. It's a huge location and has patio seating as well. I had looked at pictures of the menu on Google before coming in and was disappointed to see that there was no pasta on the menu. All of the bowl dishes were just rice bowls. However, when I actually arrived here in turned out that they do actually serve pasta which I was very much relieved to see. I had been wanting to try the Truffle oil pasta for awhile as I'd seen someone else order it at the Coquitlam location awhile back and it looked really good. I was this close to ordering that pasta but then my eye caught sight of the Plant Power Club sandwich which was made with Housemade Purple Yam Vegan Bread. Huh? Purple Yam Vegan Bread? That sounded so interesting. I didn't know Purple Yam Bread even existed. I wondered if it was typo, and whether they really meant that it was just regular bread with some purple yam sandwiched between the bread slices. After inquiring about it, I was informed that it was indeed a purple yam bread and that the color of the bread was purple. I had to satisfy my curiosity so I ended up ordering the Plant Power Club instead, along with a Strawberry Matcha Latte. That bright purple colour combined with all the colourful fillings of my sandwich...possibly the prettiest sandwich I've ever had. Very filling too. I ate both pieces and then I didn't have room for dinner later in the day. It was a tasty sandwich but not something I need to order again. While the bread was pretty, I didn't detect any special flavor from it. I will definitely be ordering the Truffle Oil pasta next time I go in. Loved my Strawberry Matcha Latte. I asked for it to be made less sweet , and it was very nicely done. There was a scheduled power outage that occurred while we were in the cafe. The lights and air conditioning went out for quite awhile, so someone came around and handed out $5 vouchers for us to use at our next visit. More incentive for me to come back and try that Truffle Oil pasta sometime! read more

Tip #1 - don't use Google Maps to find location as it will take you on a wild goose chase. Park on Main and walk over as it is currently adjacent to a construction site. Makes sense they opened in this location as there will be a lot of residential units close by and not a lot of competition. The shop is impressive- super cute decor - coffee bags and big beans and a very large coffee cup. Cool! Everything is pristine, well thought through, innovative layout and a good number of patio tables. They have a good selection of desserts, baked goods and coffee. We arrived around 1:30p on a Sunday and they still had a lot available to choose from and a good number of seating options. Staff is friendly, our order came up quickly- they use a buzz system for orders, which makes sense considering the size of the space. So far so good. I wish I could give a good endorsement of the food and coffee. For both we feel the coffee was average (a bit weak for my taste) and the baked goods we had, a blueberry scone and zucchini muffin, unremarkable. I really wanted to like this place but I'm sorry it wasn't as amazing as it could be. The coffee cups are very tall so maybe less water would positively impact the intensity? Baked goods - no suggestions here. I do not want to discourage you - give it a try - maybe you'll have better luck. read more

C Market Coffee is finally in the City of Vancouver after opening in the Tri Cities years ago. The latte is well crafted and not rushed. The foam is light and fluffy like a cloud. The flavour is well balanced. The strawberry danish has a crispy bottom and is a little hard to cut with wooden cutlery. It tastes amazing otherwise. read more
