This place is just across the Amazing Brentwood mall. I asked the staff what's their specialty and…read moreshe said their cheesecakes are really good especially their original one. I ordered their sweet potato cheesecake instead because I have never tried it before. It sure didn't disappoint! The cheesecake is creamy and not overly sweet. We also ordered a latte and a lavender oat latte. Their latte isn't too strong but their lavender oat latte is good. There is a strong lavender flavor. I think their best dessert is their tiramisu. It's huge! Totally worth the money! We went just before dinner and surprised that the place is actually quite busy. There is limited underground parking available but there are lots of street parking.

My daughter selected this coffee bar so we could sit together and a couple of beverages…read more The menu variety was appealing to us. A maple latte and a strawberry match latte sounded good. The service was quick and we snagged the last open table. The interior was eclectic and the outdoor style chairs that were used for inside seating were a bit uncomfortable but it all contributed to this intimate, non chain, independent cafe. The strawberry matcha latte was a standout! The real strawberry pieces mixed within were delightful. The maple latte was just average. Nothing at all exciting to report. For some reason it lacked luster. Unfortunately it was enough to cot them a star.

Finally decided to walk into this cute cafe that i always pass by whenever going to the grocery…read morestore a few steps away. It's always busy but today it looked quiet at random so stumbled in. So glad i finally decided to. Cozy cute cafe where you can study and bring your labtop/ introvert friendly or quick catchup with the girls / cute coffee date etc ... The cafe is currently participating in the hot chocolate festival too but i ordered a matcha latte along with a cruffin apple cheesecake and ooo it was so delicious and bouncy airy. The center had fresh bits of apple and there was a creamy cream cheese filling and you get this texture that's a combo of crossiant and muffin .. if you love apple or even caramel etc i think it would really suit your pallette. I will order some pastries to go next time when i have more time. Staff is super friendly and patient. They handled the loads of questions i had. Super clean place too. Free parking upfront and there's parking downstairs too.

I revisited La saison de patisserie to grab some drink and get a birthday card…read more They sell cute 3D BD card with reasonable price. I got Houjicha Strawberry latte. I usually love their dessert and drink. The one I had this time, houjicha flavor was a bit weak and strawberry purre dominated the flavor, it was just ok. It might be depend on barista. I found they offer soccer themed cake which was very cute.

Quiet coffee shop randomly located in the middle of a residental neighbourhood…read more Parking is plentiful in the area. The venue is quite small. Maybe 10 seats at most. There is also a E facing table and patio umbrella outside, but it wasn't set up during this rainy season. The room is quite stuffy (lack of ventilation), so they had the door propped open. This place is quite cramped. Staff are friendly. I think they're Korean. Coffee here is pretty decent. No complaints. Didn't try the food. Place might be worth coming by alone or maybe in a group of 2 at most. Otherwise I would highly recommend takeout.

Cozy and intimate cafe in a residential area. Unsurprisingly, it wasn't very busy mid-afternoon on…read morea weekday (save for a pair that left shortly after I arrived, I had the place to myself), so it was nice and calm. It was kind of chilly inside because they had the door propped open despite it being cold out, but I can imagine it might have been stuffy for the staff in the kitchen area. The barista was very nice! I got the Sooyo croissant, an egg tart, and a milk tea. I loved the Sooyo croissant - I'm weak to the brie/fig combo and this had just the right balance of all the ingredients on a warm and soft croissant. The egg tart was also really nice with a hint of cinnamon. It was bite-sized which was good for a small treat. I also loved the milk tea. It was very strong, and the brown sugar syrup enhanced the flavour! It was worth the trip for me for a relaxing snack stop!
