Front entrance on Hastings Street, The Heights.

I was attracted to this restaurant this morning when I drove by the Burnaby Heights. The name, interior and the decor is quite unique - all related with the classic Mercedes Benz theme ... but this cafe was fairly new, just opened for 3 weeks since 6/25... Currently is supplying croissants and danish pastries, with some beverages and drip coffees only ... but expecting to add sandwiches and longer open hours later... The vibes is casual, you pick and pay first, then sit anywhere you like. I do like it offers 2 clean unisex washrooms. that's a service plus! I enjoy eating here and will come again:)

Love a good themed cafe! The car booths inside are super cool and I highly recommend going early if you want to snag one to sit in! Tried the matcha mocha affogato and it was sooo good! What a caffeine boost and perfectly sweetened! Would get it again!!

Car theme cafe on Burnaby Heights. I was so excited to try this cafe! The interior is filled with antique Benz car models, designs, steering wheel and even wheel cap. It gives a museum vibe and everything Is so interesting to look at. We orders a Dubai chocolate croissant, apple turnover, latte and an iced americano. The croissant was bigger than my hand! Their specialty croissant is almost $10 but it is understandable given that it's so big. There are 2 Benz car booth seats! Be sure to grab those spots :) we like their coffee bean. It's strong and doesn't have an acidic taste.

Mother-son coffee date at Benzo Cafe. Saw a post on Instagram about this new spot and wanted to bring my favorite car guy for a visit. Service well staffed and friendly. We had a London Fog, Latte w/oat milk & shared a chicken pesto sam. They toasted the sandwich for us and it was delicious! Very clean and fresh Cafe. I can see it doing well. Only been open a month so far and they are off to a great start!

Decor was cool and you can see the passion for cars /Benz throughout the cafe. Cruffin was delicious.

Back in Vancouver, and of course the gloomy weather calls for brunch. I'd been here before for…read morecoffee and a donut, but I got curious to try their brunch as well. This place is especially known for their mochi donuts, which have a really interesting texture, very chewy with a bit of crispiness on the outside. I'm generally not a huge donut fan, and this version is still a little greasy, but the texture is definitely unique and worth trying at least once. We were surprisingly the first customers of the day, which was great since the line is usually pretty long (it's a pretty hyped-up spot). Avocado Benedict ($22) 3/5 I ordered this for a lighter take on bennies, but in my opinion they added way too much hollandaise. Combined with the avocado, everything ended up tasting overly rich. The eggs were perfectly poached though, and the tater tots were also nicely crunchy. Mortadella Sandwich ($15) 4/5 My friend, who loves this place for brunch, said this is her favourite menu item and I can see why. I feel like it's underrated since most people go for the bennies or the chicken pancakes, but I'd highly recommend this instead. The texture combination is great: thinly sliced mortadella, an egg layer that almost feels like a crepe, and crispy onions. The tobasco sauce also helps balance everything out and makes the dish feel lighter.

We ordered a few things to share and everything landed. The fried chicken, pancake combo was the star for me, crispy, well seasoned chicken with a fluffy pancake, plus a little syrup on the side that pulls it all together (sweet-salty perfection). We also tried a poached egg plate with crispy tater tots, super comforting, and the sauce was rich without being too heavy. The other dish had a generous topping of fresh greens and a creamy element underneath, which made it feel balanced and not overly "brunch-bomb." Drinks were great too, my iced matcha was smooth and not overly sweet. Why not a full 5? It can feel a little pricey for the portion sizes, and it's more of a "treat brunch" than an everyday spot. But overall, the flavors, vibe, and execution were strong and I'd absolutely come back when I want a cute, relaxed brunch with a friend.

I tried an assortment of food and was blown away the flavors. Everything came out hot. Ginger chai - so good and smooth. Ginger gave it a nice kick and uniqueness. Mango lassi - good, nice and thick. Always love the mango flavors. Spicy potato stack toasty - loved the grilled sandwich style. So tasty and filling. On the spicier side but I loved it. Paneer paradise - another grilled sandwich. Paneer was so tasty and not as spicy. Onion samosas - came out hot and perfect bite sizes. So crispy and flavourful. Easy to share. Green chutney sandwich - a lighter option that's very refreshing with the tomatoes. Classic Maggie - nostalgic noodle taste. Dahi puri - dine in special. So good and crispy and fresh. Perfect to help cut the spice! Overall great experience! There's free wifi and a clean washroom as well.

Inspired by traditional Indian street eats, the food here will entice your taste buds. Starting off with their chai tea, it was rich and comforting. the harmony of the tea, milk, and floral notes really works well here. The tea was silky smooth and the ascent from the floral is top notch. The samosa (100% onion) was as good as it gets. Perfectly sized, I can snack on them every day. Crispy with a slight chewy exterior, while the onion filling was seasoned well and had good onion flavour. it was tender but not mushy. The sandwich, with spicy potato with a green herby sauce complimented each other very well. Spicy, filling, yet cooling, it was one delicious bite. Perfect comfort food. The onion crisps snacks were flavoursome and fresh. A great beer snack. Really love the exotic street snacks they offer, all very tasty but not greasy at all.
