You're never too old to LOVE Hello Kitty. I've been a super-fan since 70s. Since I was cruising on Princess, I made sure this cafe was my first stop in Vancouver. The store is SUPER CUTE. I was thrilled to take a picture with Hello Kitty. I had the peach slushy with coconut jelly and it was very good.

Adorable shop with adorable (expensive) food, adorable (expensive) merch, and adorable (free) photo ops. Hello Kitty fans will love it, non fans like my kids will constantly ask "can we go now?". Food and merch are on the ground level, there is a second level with a few tables and chairs. Although the food and drinks are ok, it's a fun place to sit and enjoy a snack.

got the brown sugar milk tea with boba with my husband. if you like really soft boba, this drink might be for you! But, the milk tea itself was poorly done with its little sweetness even though we ordered the regular level. it was like that of 25% instead of the ordered 100%. prices were diabolically high for such a declined quality, but again, it is the brand. service was very kindhearted, but it would have been nice if staff members made efforts to take photos for incoming visitors. a lot of photo ops at this location. the cutie patootie pink walls with the Sanrio series playing on the TV made it so visitors would just want to stare at their surroundings. love the diversity in the types of tabling and seating options with couches, chairs, etc. enjoy these pictures of us trying to recreate iconic Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel poses

Omg, the cutest café ever. As soon as I seen it, I ran to the café. They had super cute merch in there that had Vancouver on it. I got my mom a bucket hat, that's all she wears. Everyone was so sweet and super friendly. The staff took of picture of us and turned out amazing. So glad I stopped by. I would definitely recommend this place for sure, if you are a hk lover. I definitely want to go back.

How can anyone give Hello Kitty Cafe anything less than 5 when you're a bonafide superfan?! Cute store. Got myself a hoodie and a HK pin with the Canada Maple leaf symbol to commemorate my trip. Also ordered a iced vanilla latte which wasn't too sweet - it's decent! I would go back just for the iced coffee (and some self control - hard to resist all of the adorable merchandise).

If there is a Hello Kitty Cafe in a city I am visiting, I always go out of my way to visit! This is my first time at the Hello Kitty Café in Vancouver. It is super cute inside! Very pink and nicely decorated. Besides the café aspect, they have a lot of Hello Kitty Café merchandise sold there. There is a second floor, as well! It looks like they are still settling into this location because there was a lot of boxes out on the floor when we visited. My sister was the only one that ordered anything from the café. She ordered the Passionfruit Green Tea. It was a refreshing drink!

Hello Kitty themed cafe along Robson - I personally feel like this was a huge overhype - Place is very well lit - Lots of pink and plenty of merchandise - it is definitely a great place to snap some pictures for the gram - or pick up some hello kitty themed merch. - Prices vary - but most seemed pretty high in my opinion. The team members are very attentive and friendly - so no issues service wise - Personally don't think there was much of a hello kitty theme to there pastries/cakes so that was a little disappointing - didn't try there coffee - however had one of there bubble teas - and there is definitely better along Robson - even at reduced sugar - it still tasted like drinking sugar water. This is probably a skip for me - unless I'm in the area and want to give there coffee a try

This is such a cute shop. The counter area is a little small but they offered cute cakes and fun drinks. There's a little shop next to the counter as well to buy some HKC merch. I got the brown sugar bubble tea. It wasn't too sweet. The only downfall was the paper straw.

The drink was a little disappointing, but the topped was cute. The lady helping me grab the items I wanted from the Hello Kitty shop didn't even grab my correct items, even though I was the only one in the store at the time asking. It was worth a one time visit , but I won't go back.

Got to visit the hello kitty cafe and it was too cute. I ordered the boba ice cream which was tasty. The decor was definitely insta worthy and would go back to try the rest of the dessert.

Wow! That was a line up back in May, wasn't it??? Took the kids to take a look Sunday, Aug 25. It was a short little wait as it was a bit crowded in the store. Looking into the store from the outside, the left side is the ordering counter for Boba drinks, ice cream and various pastries.....right side had a photo op area and stairs lead up to more seating and another photo op area. On the ground floor at the back of the store is a washroom and a merchandise corner. I was disappointed that there was so little merchandise to buy. I imagine they are waiting for stock to arrive. Couldn't help to notice the pink paint chipping away from the stairs.....makes the store look cheap. Kid got a vanilla Boba....she said it was OK....maybe a little too sweet. If you are a fan of Hello Kitty definitely visit but if you are just a casual fan maybe give it a pass....

Unintentionally parked right across the street and obviously had to go in. It wasn't as busy as the San Diego HK cafe and I'm surprised that it was sort of empty. Interior is cute, however the upstairs seating area was dirty. Prices are pretty inexpensive but I'm considering that conversion rates are good right now. We grabbed a vanilla oat milk latte and a plain oat milk latte and it was surprisingly better than expected even though they just used a touch button machine. Also, the fact they had oat milk as an alternative was so nice. The little cakes looked good, and there was a good amount of HK merch available for purchase

I decided to visit this place at least a month later after seeing that incredibly long line up. I still had to line up on Saturday afternoon, the waiting time was about 20-25minutes which wasn't bad. Goods were sold out except T shirts just came in... We ordered Soft serve with Hello Kitty Waffle Cone, Lychee Green tea, and Mango coconuts cake. Soft serve was just ok, Hello Kitty waffle was super-cute. Lychee Green tea was better than I expected. Mango coconuts cake was also ok, The mango mousse wasn't too sweet, and I liked the little kitty chocolate on top. I really wanted to get the Vancouver logo Kitty goods, but unfortunately, they are sold out. I will visit again when they are back in stock.

Back in Vancouver, and of course the gloomy weather calls for brunch. I'd been here before for…read morecoffee and a donut, but I got curious to try their brunch as well. This place is especially known for their mochi donuts, which have a really interesting texture, very chewy with a bit of crispiness on the outside. I'm generally not a huge donut fan, and this version is still a little greasy, but the texture is definitely unique and worth trying at least once. We were surprisingly the first customers of the day, which was great since the line is usually pretty long (it's a pretty hyped-up spot). Avocado Benedict ($22) 3/5 I ordered this for a lighter take on bennies, but in my opinion they added way too much hollandaise. Combined with the avocado, everything ended up tasting overly rich. The eggs were perfectly poached though, and the tater tots were also nicely crunchy. Mortadella Sandwich ($15) 4/5 My friend, who loves this place for brunch, said this is her favourite menu item and I can see why. I feel like it's underrated since most people go for the bennies or the chicken pancakes, but I'd highly recommend this instead. The texture combination is great: thinly sliced mortadella, an egg layer that almost feels like a crepe, and crispy onions. The tobasco sauce also helps balance everything out and makes the dish feel lighter.

We ordered a few things to share and everything landed. The fried chicken, pancake combo was the star for me, crispy, well seasoned chicken with a fluffy pancake, plus a little syrup on the side that pulls it all together (sweet-salty perfection). We also tried a poached egg plate with crispy tater tots, super comforting, and the sauce was rich without being too heavy. The other dish had a generous topping of fresh greens and a creamy element underneath, which made it feel balanced and not overly "brunch-bomb." Drinks were great too, my iced matcha was smooth and not overly sweet. Why not a full 5? It can feel a little pricey for the portion sizes, and it's more of a "treat brunch" than an everyday spot. But overall, the flavors, vibe, and execution were strong and I'd absolutely come back when I want a cute, relaxed brunch with a friend.

One of the most delightful coffee shops I've been to, this wonderful place specializes in well…read moreroasted beans, locally sourced honey, penmanship, and journalling! Today I had a latte which I give an easy five out of five. I highly recommend trying multiple items on the menu as each option came with a carefully selected assembly of ingredients and by carefully I mean an attention to detail I've rarely seen in a coffee shop. The honey they use is locally sourced and chosen for its particular flavor. These people really care about the coffee they make, and it shows. The atmosphere is set with a behind-the-bar turntable and today they were playing a wonderful selection of vintage jazz. If you're in the region, make your way down to Crofton for the coffee, stay for the view, but savor the coffee

I will go out of my way to get an iced salted honey latte from SPAN. The honey comes from just down the road (Nielsens Honey). If you need a little snack, they also have a changing variety of delicious croissants and muffins by local bakery all star Hank. I asked about the coffee beans they use, and you guessed it -- locally roasted beans, just for them, by roaster Oughtred made especially for the cafe to the owners' specifications. Span is a block from the Crofton ferry on-ramp, so you can take your coffee to go & wait in the queue, or enjoy in the big park across the street while your kids & dogs play, or while you beachcomb, or on the short walk back to your beautiful Osbourne Bay campsite! Vibes are warm & welcoming, sometimes with jazz music on the record player. Design is sleek, clean and uncluttered, but still 100% West Coast, with lots of natural light, and beautiful natural materials. The owners are also artist-designer-craftspeople and have a perfectly curated shop featuring VanIsle artists that changes all the time. It always makes my day to chat with Tanya & Juaning whether it's about coffee, travel, or _local_ happenings!
