I got the Qimen black milk tea and I wasn't a fan personally. I, however, enjoy their other drinks as I tried out my friends' drinks. The fleshy mango slush with coconut milk and soybean mochi milk tea were really good in my opinion, and their mega drinks promotion they had was a really good deal too. Service was pretty quick and nice, and I liked the atmosphere. It's a pretty standard small boba shop layout so nothing to write home about. I just wish I got the salty egg taro floss box cake.

My favourite bubble tea yet! Fleshy grape with coconut jelly added.

I'm fairly new to Bubble Tea, and this one knocked it out of the park for me! I got the Fleshy Grape, no ice, no added sugar, and added coconut jelly. This was delicious. I scared my sister in law with how fast I consumed it. She kept saying, "You're not even enjoying it!". But I couldn't stop, it was too good. Haha It didn't need any added sweetener in my opinion, this drink was already very sweet. I would like to go back and try other flavours. Would definitely recommend!

Really appreciate the shop and customer to take precaution of Covid 19. The shop only allow 3 groups in, with plexiglasses & a speaker installed for cashier with mask which helps hearing the order so much more better. As they are still new, the owner was kind enough to put a sign to remind customers that they are still in training and mercy for patience. Everything turn out delicious with regular sugar and ice level in this hot weather. They did missed one of my orders but the owner quickly took my missing order & make it right away. Great customer service!!! 5 stars for that.

Oreo Mochi Milktea $6.80 ~ who knew mochi and milktea can go so well together! The oreo was flavourful along with the strong milktea and it wasn't too sweet. The mochi was so soft and fluffy, simply delicious! The only thing is that it may get stuck in the straw , so try and break them apart before drinking it.

So glad they opened up a second location near Metrotown, much more accessible now. Normally we always get their cheesy fruit drinks. This time, we decided to change my routine and order their fruit teas. We really enjoy their grapefruit and orange tea. We especially love the plump fruit pulps they added in each drink, which creates a wonderful sensation on your palate with each sip. Bursting with vibrant colors and flavours, they are the perfect drinks to brighten up a depressing winter.

A new bubble tea shop at the Kensington Square It's a nice new addition to the area We got the Boba Brulee Milk tea and the Mango Fleshy tea The Boba Brulee Milk tea has a good balance of tea flavor, creaminess and chewy pearls The Mango drink had bits of mango at the bottom, clear jelly. The drink was fun and tasty! I opt extra for cheese foam on the top for extra creaminess and loved it! There's a lot of free parking here and a great place to grab a drink while running errands at the Kensington Square Can't wait to come by to try their other drinks

When I heard this place had drinkable MOCHI, I had to try. Not many places do liquid mochi and holy, it's is a GAME CHANGER in the boba world! The Soy Mochi Milk Tea is a MUST get. The texture is amazing silky, it's a whole new experience even for a mochi lover like myself. The staff were also really nice and helped me pick which mochi drink and were very patient! I can't wait to try more drinks here.

There's mochi everything, what about drinkable mochi? Sun Tea might be my new favourite bubble tea shop. The soybean mochi milk tea is a must try! It has strong soybean flavours and the milk tea is smooth. The drink was topped with wafers covered in cheese foam. The highlight of the drink was definitely the drinkable mochi, it was silky smooth, the texture is similar to grass jelly, but even smoother! I also tried the Fleshy strawberry and peach slush, it comes with jelly and white pearls and we also added regular pearls, this was super refreshing! It had fresh strawberry and peach pulp, it reminds us of the freckled lemonade from Red Robins, but not as sweet. The pearls were soft, but retained its chewy texture. TIP: When you order on Fantuan delivery app, you get $5 off your first order at Sun Tea. Also, follow them on Instagram to find out their current promotions. They currently have BOGO 50% off until May 7, 2021! ---------- PRICE|$ 。$6.80 Soybean Mochi Milk Tea 。$6.20 (+$0.75 Pearls) Fleshy Strawberry & Peach Slush

Suntea's got some quality plastic cups! I love the slender and narrow style! It is smooth and handsome. Now about the drinks. I have had two different fresh fruit teas here so far. The Fresh Mango Tea and Coconut Pudding with Mango Tea. Both half sugar, no ice. I really enjoyed both drinks as I think the half sugar has the perfect sugar level for fruit teas. I enjoyed the mango bits, royal jelly, coconut pudding and all of the toppings included in both my drinks. All the flavours tasted delicious together. Knocked off one star because everything is syrup-based. You also have to order your drinks/food online and pay online or in person. It's nice to see this new addition bubble tea shop in the neighbourhood. The girls are the front are friendly. I'll come back again.

Another bubble tea shop in Burnaby. Its like there's always a new place to try no matter what city in the lower mainland. They have the nice thick cups but the top is just the plastic so you can't really reuse it. I always feel guilty when I get bbt because of all the plastic, so I usually reuse the cup for water for awhile before throwing it out. I should definitely get a glass reusable cup. The drinks tasted good. I had the brulee boba milk tea. Just the right sweetness and had a good tea flavour. I've tasted better purple sticky rice drink but its still decent. The strawberry and mango slush is really pretty. Prices are reasonable. And when I went, they had a bogo promotion going on.

SunTea is a cozy bubble tea spot located in Kensington Square. There is a lot of parking around. They only take online or app-based orders so make sure to download and order before you make the trip out! I unfortunately didn't and needed to download the app right there and then. As a result of this online ordering, the store is crowd free and social distancing friendly. We ordered the fleshy grape tea and fleshy pink peach tea. The fleshy grape tea has peeled grapes, agar jelly, and clear pearls on the bottom. I found the combo of textures really nice and tasty, especially with the grapes. The jasmine tea also was the perfect complimentary flavour. The menu looks really interesting so I want to go back to try some other flavours, as well as maybe their dorayaki or soft bread one day.

We came on a weekend afternoon to a short line up. Service was pretty good - we had a couple of questions and the cashier was able to answer our questions. She even gave us recommendations. We ordered two drinks and a matcha red bean dorayaki. Items can be pricey depending on what you order; the dorayaki was around $5 and they also have durian buns for around m $14. Originally, we thought the drinks would be on the sweet side like many bubble tea shops (we usually go for 30%-50% sweet) so we opted for less sugar. Honestly, I think I would have preferred regular sugar level because the drinks weren't overly sweet to begin with. The milk tea had a strong tea flavour, but not watered down. The pearls were chewy (not like the small pearls, but not your regular pearls - like Yi Fang sized pearls if you know what I mean) and slightly sweetened. I found the dorayaki underwhelming. Red bean can be overpowering so I appreciate the thin layer. I think they use real matcha because there were dark green spots in the cream. I would have liked a stronger matcha flavour! What I didn't enjoy was the texture - everything was one dimensional. I would have preferred a lighter dorayaki exterior with some bigger bits of red beans incorporated inside. This would make the snack more texturally appealing.

MANGO SEASON = MANGO DRINKS! . This place has a fairly new mango season menu with a bunch of mango inspired drinks! Lets just say its worth the wait, because its fresh and you really taste the real fruit mangoes. * Fleshy Mango Slush with Coconut Milk杨枝甘露冰 ($6.90) ~ this was so good! I really enjoyed it! Super fresh and tasty! The coconut milk and mango was a good combination. It was not too sweet but it was sweet from the mangoes used and the coconut milk. Loved that there are chunks of mangoes in the drink, and it was super refreshing! A drink I'd get again (I also got 50% sweet it was perfect). * Fleshy Mango Slush 多肉芒芒冰 ($6.20) ~ this was interesting, not what I expected but it wasn't bad! It is a mixture of slush with jasmine green tea on the bottom. Surprisingly the slush and green tea flowed well when mixed together. * 8/10 ~ I need to come back to try more of their drinks! I really recommend the mango coconut if you like coconut milk and mangoes! * 9/10 ~ the portions are good for the price and compared to a lot of places this is good quality with fresh fruit for bbt.

It's been really nice having more bubble tea places open up around Brentwood, but Yi Fang was was…read morethe first. First off I really love their fruit teas. The lemon aiyu jelly, kumquat green tea and Yi Fang fruit tea have to be my favourites. They're light and refreshing and not too sweet. Normally I'm a 30-50% sugar person but here you have to get at least 70% or it's way too sour! These drinks hot are quite good as well and perfect for this cold weather we've been having, planning on trying their hot ginger milk sometime soon. The brown sugar pearls are decent too, but not as good as Xing Fu Tang or the Alley. My biggest complaint about this location is the speed of service... every time we've gone it's been pretty quiet or dead, but our drinks still take forever. I always find that each bubble tea place has a few signature drinks that are awesome, and everything else is just alright - you can't go wrong with the fruit teas here.

We've been wanting to try their Mango Pomelo Sago drink for a few months now and they just recently restocked it. Frankly, it was just okay and pricey at about $8 per cup. Hubby and I were both underwhelmed. Also, service at this location needs improvement as what most reviewers have mentioned already. I was the only one at the store and the girl at the counter didn't even acknowledge me -- had a guy exchange with her plus he answered the phone first (I was there before it rang) before even acknowledging me so I stood there like an idiot for a few minutes. Also, with just one order ahead of me (that same phone order they prioritized over me) with the same mango pomelo sago orders, I don't know why it had to take at least 10 minutes for them to make my 2 drinks. Geez. Suffice to say that I'll probably just go to a different location to get my fruit tea fix next time.

TLDR: Good teas overall…read more My wife doesn't like sweet milk teas. Normally she orders them with 0 sugar. She really appreciated the fact that here, the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk tea derives all its sugar from the boba. So the tea itself has no sugar at all. I think that's a good way to do tea... let the boba sweeten the tea! No need to add gallon of sugar after the boba, right? She thought the milk isn't as creamy as back in the bay area. But the tea itself was good. And she liked the boba, which were sweet and mushy, but without being overly mushed. I myself stay away from milk teas (damn you Lactose Intolerance!), so I normally get fruit teas. I got the mango fruit tea, with my usual 50% sugar. Even then, it's still a lot sweeter than I'm used to. But there is a good amount of tea flavor, so it didn't taste like I was drinking mango water. I even ordered some popping boba, which popped well. It was not mushy at all, and had quite a give to the texture. So for me, 4 stars means the tea is delicious, and I would want to come back. It's not quite 5 stars, which means it's one of the best teas I ever had. The guy was nice, and patiently explained about the whole no sugar added to the milk tea thing. As a strange side note, I'm not sure if it's the owner's obsession, but they certainly have a thing for a certain Chinese band... their faces were plastered all over the walls.
