Left: Black Tea Latte Right: Four seasons milk tea

Tried the Black Tea Latte and the Four Seasons Milk Tea. Both were quite delicious! Found their pearls a little bland, but the milk teas were flavourful! Was a little sad that the Black Tea Latte was already shaken up when they gave me the drink (I wanted to see the separation!) - but all good! Still yummy!

It's been a while since I've been back to Vancouver so of course I wanted to hit up a bubbletea place on my first night here! After a dinner of sushi, we looked for a close but well rated bubbletea place that we don't have back home. From what it seemed wushiland is fairly new but got decent reviews and was fairly close to where we had dinner. First impressions: it was easy to find and brightly lit. The place was decently filled with customers enjoying drinks and chats. All good signs in my eyes. The menu had variety but not overwhelmingly so. They had a summer promo where a select number of drinks were 2 for $ 9 so my sister and l went with 2 black tea lattes with grass jelly. The drinks were nice not too sweet as we got 30% sugar. At first I thought it wasn't sweet enough but once I got a taste of the grass jelly I got all the sugar needed. Overall the drink was okay but for that price we couldn't go wrong. I do wish the tea flavour was a bit stronger but ido proper a stronger tea favour in general. The grass jelly was quite sweet. We also saw that they had egg waffles so we grabbed one of those too. Unfortunately it wasn't what we expected.it had more of a mocha texture which l liked but my sister wasn't a fan.it was a little too sweet and a little more eggy than what we wanted. The location itself was brightly lit and very spacious. It's definitely a good spot for hanging out or studying. Though the drink was okay, I think there's other better places for bubbletea in Vancouver. I would come back to try other drinks though only if I was close by.

Tucked away in Union Square Shopping Centre is 101 Boba! We got 2 drinks and their regular bubble waffle! The blueberry banana smoothie came with some kind of pudding at the bottom which made it super refreshing during a hot day. The black tea latte was good, we especially liked the boba, they were made perfectly. We loved the bubble waffle the most! It was very crispy and had just the right amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend to check 101 Boba out if you're in the area! We find their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side. We got less ice and sugar but still found the drink to be too sweet. So we recommend scaling lower in sugar level if you're not too fond of sugary drinks!

Takeout only, plenty of parking in the plaza. Bright and clean inside the store, and the staff were friendly. My order: -Milk Tea -Pearl Black Tea Latte I like the tea flavour and powdered milk tea which is how authentic Taiwanese bubble tea is made. I prefer the regular sized pearls (they ran out, so I got the mini pearls). Still good, but I prefer the regular sized ones, so I can actually chew them instead of inhaling them. Definitely recommend getting half sweet for all the drinks. Drinks come in 2 sizes.

I think this is Wushiland Bubble Tea rebranded as 101 Boba. I decided to give the boba black tea latte a try. As I did come here quite early, we had to wait 15 minutes for them to finish making the boba. Despite it being freshly made, it didn't have the chewiness that I was looking for. The bubble tea itself was okay and not too sweet which I appreciated (at my typical 30% sugar). There was also a problem with their sealing machine so my drink ended up being quick leaky. They did reset it when I complained so that was appreciated!

There are a lot of bubble tea places in Richmond and this place stood out to me and my girlfriend so we decided to try it out because we love our bubble tea! First impression of this place was the interior was super clean and nice, workers were super nice and greeted us right as we walked in. There is a lot of choices on their menu and some odd drinks like the black tea with ice cream, I never seen it at anywhere else but here, the drink does make sense though, it was just like a milk tea! I also got the kumquat & plum green tea with boba and that was delicious too! Tangy and flavorful, I recommend going with 50% sugar because 100% was way too sweet for me. Overall, this is a great bubble tea spot to try and enjoy with your friends and family!

Cute small bubble tea place! I got the four season tea w/ mango sorbetto ice cream, I got this with 50% sugar and regular ice, I 100% recommend this since the sorbet is already at the perfect sweetness! The sorbet doesn't really melt so I mixed it till it became to a similar consistency to a slush, and it was so delicious! *' * definitely a new go to when I'm looking to splurge a little more for my tea cravings @jamiekloeats

We came on a weekend afternoon and there was only one other customer. Service was decent. By decent I mean no one greeted us or acknowledged us, but the female cashier was patient in giving us recommendations. Prices are reasonable, but depends on what you order. Drinks are around $5-$5.50 excluding $0.50 for pearls/boba. Some items were on the pricey side. If I recall correctly, Ovaltine Milk Tea and some of the fruit teas were over $6 excluding toppings. One drink I saw was $9! Keep in mind that they don't have some of the fruity drinks because they are available in the summer. Aside from the cashier, the gentleman who packed our drinks was slightly awkward. We ordered 2 large drinks and 1 macchiato meaning the cup was not sealed with plastic. The staff decided to put all 3 drinks in a bag with no tray, which made it hard to carry and easy to spill. Let's just say they are generous with the toppings! We were stuffed with pearls (and lots of calories) by the time we were done. There are some reviews online saying that the pearls were undercooked, but ours were cooked properly. The pearls were chewy though tasteless. At 30% sugar, my bf complained that his drink was too sweet. Mine was 50%, but was perfect. The tea flavour in both drinks were prominent and not watered down. We were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our drinks! Drinks were good, buttttt nothing special.

Vancity is becoming a hotbed for BBT! When we heard about Wushiland, we decided that we had to check it out. So we did! I decided to check and try out their Ovaltine Milk Tea, 30 percent sugar, regular ice, with coconut jelly. I've noticed that not all BBT's are created equal in the sense that one BBT shop with 30 percent sugar could be much sweeter than another one with 30 percent sugar. They're not the same. It also depends on what you put in - are you getting regular pearls, or maybe coconut jelly? Those have extra sugar in them, so they will make your drink that much sweeter. Just something to consider when you're ordering. The BBT here at Wushiland is quite sweet, even at 30 percent sugar. But I quite like their Ovaltine Milk Tea. That's pretty much the only thing I get when I come here. Their service is friendly and efficient. You place an order, and if they're not busy, you'll likely get your drink in less than 5 min. If they're busy, you're looking at maybe 5-10 min. They're very fast at making their drinks, so you're not going to be waiting very long. Their service is good. The only gripe is that the workers who work there, English may not be their first language, so be patient with them. They are trying their best to accommodate their customers. The ambiance is nothing home to write about. Their shop is actually very small, so if you wanted to "dine-in" - you can't because there's actually no tables there to sit and chat with your friends. Standing room only. Which is okay with me, because when I come here, I am always taking it to go anyways. Location is pretty good. They're located in a strip mall close to Aberdeen and Yaohan as well as Continental Mall. Closest Skytrain station is either Bridgeport Station or Aberdeen Station. There is a planned Capstan Station, but that's still a few years away. Once that's built, I can see traffic to the business definitely increase. Price for their BBT is I think comparable to most other BBT places in the city. It's definitely not "cheap" - about $6-7 for one, depending on what you're getting. We'd highly recommend coming here to try out! My rundown for Wushiland: Location: 4/5 Price: 3.75/5 Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 4.5/5

Another bubbletea shop in Richmond! They have another location besides this one, but that one isn't open yet. Its along no.3 road across Lansdowne. I was impressed with the amount of toppings that is given. Compared to other places, there is just so much more pearls! No a complaint haha. Give me more pearls! They were very chewy! The tea flavour is decent.

Four Season Tea With Mango Sorbetto Icecream ($6.30)
    Rency L.

Wushiland is definitely a hidden gem for bubble tea. I tried the Four Season Tea With Mango Sorbetto Icecream ($6.30) and it's quite unique. The tea is very refreshing with a subtle taste of wheat. However, I think the mango icecream would've complemented better with a fruit based tea/mango milk tea. Their service is quick, and if it's not busy the wait time is usually around 3-5 minutes. Wushiland's interior imbues modern abstract, detailed with light wooden finishes. It's perfect for Instagram worthy photos!

They've got a very weird logo but still happy we've got a 五十嵐 in Vancouver now. Wushiland is one of those go-to bbt places in Taiwan that have been around forever. Lots of new places pop up with their fancy drinks, but this place is known for being delicious, consistent and cheap (well, in Taiwan it is anyways haha) If you're looking for a more "local" Taiwanese place, give this a try!

Once again this place is awesome for legit Taiwanese style milk tea. Nothing gets more authentic then their classic pearl milk tea with powder, 30% sugar, 50% ice. * The milk tea is smooth and creamy. The powder base for some reason tastes way better than the fresh milk base. I totally recommend trying the powder despite the fact that it's powder, the taste is amazing and very close to how traditional Taiwanese style milk tea is suppose to be. * 8/10 ~ the drink is good the small pearls are nice and chewy. The big pearls are a bit stiff for me so I recommend small pearls. * 10/10 ~ $5.30 for a large size for the milk tea with small pearls. The size is good and well worth the price! * 10/10 ~ mask required, quick grab and go concept. Plexiglass between you and the workers.

I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.

My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.

They've got a lot of crazy drinks going on, but I'm a simple man that likes his simple drinks and lately, I've been very much into the #8 fresh jade lemon green tea.
