I came here around 5 PM on a Wednesday. There was no line, so I was able to order and get my drink very quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea--it was refreshing, and I found the packaging both useful and cute. After converting to U.S. dollars, it came out to about $6, which was a great deal. The place was small and clean--perfect for a quick grab-and-go.

Tried a few during my visit in Vancouver because we dun got this back home! 1. Green tea + cream + bubble (less sugar) 2. Green tea + milk + bubble (less sugar) 3. Dong ding oolong + cream + bubble (less sugar) My favorite was green tea + cream + bubble. The dong ding oolong one is on the sweeter side.

As usual, their tea is made specially with a tea-presso machine. This allows the flavour to be nearly identical each time. I ordered online and the drink was ready when I arrived.

Right by Richmond Centre and the bus loop by Richmond - Brighouse. It is definitely worth a stop since it's so convenient! Store is cozy but has little seating. They'll validate parking for 2 hrs. They only have one size, similar size to Xing fu. They have fresh tea to smell if you're having a hard time to choose. The boba was the perfect consistency.

Delicious drinks. Super quality tea that they extract the flavor as a teaspresso shot, which is why it's so much stronger than more fragrant than your average boba shop! Boba was sweet and perfectly chewy.

I was so stoked to find this location in Vancouver. It is a MUST for trying authentic boba in the area. The boba texture is perfect and the tea to milk ratio is the perfect balance as well. Highly recommend!

Tried out the award winning green tea and it was soooo floral and tasty! I got it with the Sakura agar balls and it only highlighted the floral notes in the drink. We also got the black tea with taro balls. Also a great cup of tea that was brewed to perfection but we preferred the green tea for sure.

5/5 Ding Dong Oolong Tea + Cream + Bubble: easily one of the best bobas I've ordered in recent memory! It was my first visit to ChiCha, and the barista was so friendly and explained their top selling teas. She meticulously measured out the tea leaves to brew, and the tea was SO fragrant! The boba was perfectly chewy and bouncy! Would absolutely make additional trips here to try the rest of the menu!

This is my new favourite bubble tea place when looking for quality tea. Probably not the place if you are into fruit drinks/slushes. I ordered the oolong with mousse and taro balls, and the flavours worked together so well. The natural flavour of the tea is so fragrant and leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The staff measure out tea leaves for each order and each cup is brewed individually (similar to coffee shops making espressos) ! I also can't recommend the mousse enough. It is lightly salted and works so beautifully with the tea. I usually order 30% sugar at other bbt shops but this time tried their "perfect" (regular) sugar and it lived up to its name, was not too sweet. Taro balls were very QQ and the perfect size to have in a drink (fit through the bubble tea straw). The shop is aesthetic but is cramped and it can be difficult to tell who is lining up to order VS waiting for their drink. They have no menu on the wall, only on the counter in front of the cashier. There is also no area to sit down inside. They offer free 2hr parking if you fill out their form inside. Update: visited again and seems like they have increased the price of drinks since 6 months ago. Quality of the tea is consistent and good! Still no changes to the line up system or posting of menu elsewhere in the store other than the front counter. Looks like they also no longer offer oat milk, but unsure if they were just out for the day I visited.

Chicha originated from my home country Taiwan. It's a boutique BBT shop that currently only has one location in all of Taiwan. I used to drive all the way to Burnaby to get my Chicha fix but hasn't gone in recent years due to distance. Today i got the classic bubble milk tea, light sugar and ice free. I love Chicha because of their rich tea taste and the fact that they use Taiwanese tea. Their classic bubble milk tea is much better than all of their competitors' version simply because of the tea taste. One star deducted because I found the bubbles to be a little on the soft side today. Also, i prefer their other drinks more. With that said, I'm glad that Richmond now has a Chicha and I don't need to trek all the way to Burnaby to get a good quality cup of bubble tea.

This shop takes great care and consideration into how they make their tea! You can watch the staff freshly brew the tea and the shop smells amazing. At the cashier counter, there are tea leaf samples that you can smell and once I smelled the osmanthus tea, I knew I had to get it. The tea leaves had a fruit-like scent which I thought was very unique. My friend and I both ordered an osmanthus milk tea with bubbles (I chose cream for mine, and she chose fresh milk). It does take a while for the tea to be ready so be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes. The size of the drink is also on the smaller side considering the price. However, I would still come back here if I'm ever in the area as the taste was unparalleled. The milk tea was so light and fresh, and the osmanthus flavour was able to really stand out. The pearls were also a perfect texture and size, and did not stick together. I think if you're a bubble tea enthusiast, you definitely have to come here at least once!

Classic bubble milk tea, half sugar, no ice

I got the classic bubble milk tea with half sugar. It was sooo good! The tea smelled so fragrant even before drinking (the whole store just smells so nice haha), as in, it actually smells like real tea. The bubbles are very warm and chewy - freshly cooked, I think! - and doesn't make the drink too sweet either. Also, I feel like nowadays bubble tea is just getting so expensive everywhere, so $8-ish? including tax? seemed pretty reasonable for such a yummy drink. If only milk tea weren't so unhealthy, I wish I could come back every day :)

We ordered the original bubble tea. It was surprisingly refreshing because of the tea flavour. It's very concentrated and delicious. They also gave us a sample of their jasmine tea which was also very good. We got it 50% sweet and it was just sweet enough. The pearls aren't the best I've had but chewy enough. Overall I would go back and get another bubble tea as it was quite delicious and addicting.

I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.

This location is the one I tend to come across the most cause I usually am visiting the mall. The shop sticks out with it's red design. It's just a pretty small boba vendor shop that's kind of hidden away. The menu is basically a screen running a video so that it animates and loops. There's quite of a selection of drinks on it though. Most of them are on the sweeter side with their cookies and cream shake. They've got a lot of crazy drinks going on, but I'm a simple man that likes his simple drinks and lately, I've been very much into the #8 fresh jade lemon green tea. Because the drinks are pretty sweet I usually adjust it to like 75% sweetness. I also adjust the ice level to get more for my buck and ask for less ice. Hard to judge boba shops in my opinion. Especially since any adjustments I make to my drink is on me and not on the shop. Service was quite fine. Only one person was on the job when I was there, but I've seen two people there before. One to make drinks and the other manning the cashier. Overall, I thought my drink turned out fine. Just have to adjust by trial and error to get the right sweetness down for yourself.
