Green Milk Tea w/ Boba, Purple Yam Green Milk Tea, and Wintermelon Lemonade in their custom cups
    Generous Y.

06/08 Chun Fun How has really good drinks but boba as a topping could be better. Boba was chewy but lacked flavor. Fair bounce to it though! There's free parking in the back alley for this spot and also paid street parking. Hard to realize the parking is associated with Chun Fun How or any of the stores, but there's a sign posted out front that says parking available in the back. Looks like they close the restrooms after 11am due to a recent robbery so that's unfortunate. I did see at least one outlet to charge things. Green Milk Tea w/ Boba - boba was chewy with a bounce but had no flavor, could use some marination. Green tea is strong and tastes like there's only a splash of milk which is great. Does not seem like they offer milk alternatives. Purple Yam Green Milk Tea - their number two best seller that's sweet, nutty, and creamy. This is what taro powder drinks wish they could be. The green tea is a bit muted by the purple yam, but that's alright. Wintermelon Lemonade - wintermelon is always a consistent flavor but the lemonade is strong and overwhelming. More citrusy and sour with a hint of wintermelon. Number four top drink but a typical wintermelon enjoyer should opt for the wintermelon fresh milk as I'd say this taste is more acquired

    Cutest cups!!

Tried the potato milk tea and it was SUPER interesting!!! It was so cool tasting sweet potato in my milk tea !!!! Not sure if that's something I'd get again but definitely worth a try! Also tried the lychee jade tea with aloe Vera and that was super refreshing and tasted great!! Love that they do free deliveries when buying 2 cups or more!!! What great service!

Their cute af cups lured me here! In fact, the beautifully artsy design was the highlight of my experience. Chun Fun How offers Taiwanese tea and fresh milk beverages, including specialties with sweet potato or purple yam. I played it safe, so I ordered the top drink: Lychee Jade Tea with Aloe Vera - decent, but not memorable.

I heard this was a solid bubble tea place for tea based drinks and was not disappointed. I got the lychee green tea with aloe vera with 0 sugar and 0 ice. I found it to be slightly on the sweet side for being 0 sugar but i would get it again. Their cups are the most beautiful and their ordering kiosk was easy to navigate.

Free delivery was a huge selling point for me, especially when I was craving milk tea. I saw their delivery schedule on Instagram and they seem to post daily. Their cups are also very aesthetic. Ordered: Pearl black milk tea, 50% sugar, less ice - decent tea flavour, not as strong or deep as other tea shops I've been to. Not too creamy either. - I thought 50% was an adequate sugar level for this tea base - pearls were average; a bit larger in size, chewy, but lacked a slight sweetness that i want in my pearls Hot oolong milk tea, 30% sugar - strong tea flavour that paired very well with the milk tea - normally 0% sugar for hot drinks at other bubble tea shops tend to still be very sweet however with 30%, the drink only had a slight sweetness to it, which was great! Overall: I would order again if I'm craving milk tea especially because of the free delivery.

I've finally decided to try Chun Fun How after being tempted so many times by their pretty bubble tea cups! I got this through UberEats delivery -- they also had a promotion where there we were able to get 1 free drink with a $15 purchase. Wintermelon Juice with grass jelly (30% ice): Honestly, this is usually one of my go-tos when ordering bubble tea because of how refreshing it is. It was pretty standard, their syrup is not too sweet. The grass jelly was soft with no hard "bits". Purple Yam Milk Green Tea (half sugar, half ice): This is a pretty unusual drink for bubble tea places, and I always tend to try unique drinks that I can't get anywhere else. I liked that there was a hint of purple yam, but I thought that the flavour could be a bit stronger as it was overpowered by the milky taste of the tea. Half sugar didn't make the drink too bland nor too sweet. Pearl Black Milk Tea (half sugar, no ice): This one, I would recommend getting 80% sugar instead because it was kind of tasteless. *Freebie* Lychee Jade Tea (half sugar, half ice) Would try other things from this place again, especially since they offer free delivery around the lower mainland as well!

One of my favourite places for bubble tea, they always have the best pearls (chewy) and strong tea flavour. They also have free delivery available with a minimum purchase of 2-3 drinks usually, depending on what city you live in - much better deal than Uber/Skip etc. For delivery, I usually check their Instagram @chunfunhow.van for their delivery scheduled, DM them to order, and pay via etransfer. The store is clean, and smells nice and sweet when you walk in. There is a pretty floral mural with a large single couch that is great for pictures by the door. I've already been over 4 times, and finally decided to document and fully review my drinks this visit. My order (all drinks were half sugar, with less ice): Grass Jelly Milk Tea w/ Pearls: My favourite and go-to drink, nice and simple, which never disappoints. Pearls are chewy, has a bit of sweetness to it and pairs nicely with the drink. Generous portion of both grass jelly and pearls, so I had a good topping to drink ratio throughout. Lychee Jade Tea w/ Aloe: the most refreshing drink! Great alternative if you want to take a break from milky drinks. There's a lot of aloe in the drink, so you have something to nibble on the whole time. Lychee is prominent but not overpowering, and doesn't taste syrupy. I love having my drinks half sweet, as I think it better showcases the aromatic tea flavours. Pearl Fresh Milk Oolong Tea: creamier with the fresh milk Oolong Milk Tea: Strong and aromatic oolong tea

And I'm back again! This place never disappoints. I unintentionally ended up with the same drink again - purple yam fresh milk green tea with pearls. My only complaint is I somehow always end up with the red cup lol. I have yet to receive the city cups. Oh wells. This time I stayed and did my studying - great vibe with the Asian tune, power outlet and wifi provided, lots of space with low traffic (Tuesday evening). The people at the story were all really nice. 10/10 would come back again!

This spot had the best yam/potato-based boba I've ever had!! Deserves 5 stars for that alone. Their purple yam milk was the best I've ever had! Their juicier drinks are not as good but still pretty decent, and I didn't get to try their boba (pearls).

Here's a picture of their cute designs

Recently ordered this again to see what the other options would be like. Had the green milk tea 30% sugar and this was perfect sweetness level for me. The green tea was a lighter option I wanted and the boba was nice and chewy. My sister ordered the winter melon lemon and it was her favourite so far. It is an acquired taste for those who are interested and I find there can be juxtaposing opinions on this flavour as I really wasn't a fan.

One of my favorite places to get bubble tea! We got the Wintermelon Fresh Milk and Osmanthus Milk Tea. The tea flavor is very floral and the sugar level is perfect as is. I would definitely recommend either drink. The cup designs are also random but all of them are super cute! Will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
