It's like the smoker who needs a few cigarettes in their pocket as a safety net. I am the same way with bubble tea. There are a lot of bubble tea stalls in the market, however, I like this one 'cause at night for an extra charge they put a flashing light in your bubble tea that makes glow. Simple amusements that goes far in a market atmosphere. The line-ups are understandably long, therefore, have one of your friends stand in the bubble tea line while you do the food line. I've had to do this every year at the night market. They work their a$$es off to make sure that the orders are fullfilled in a timely manner inspite of the long line ups. This is just how popular they are. Survivors tip: If you're planning on eating other things at the market I highly recommend the mini for $3.75 just to get a sampling.

It had plenty of mango pieces on top, and the slush itself was very smooth with the perfect level of sweetness. The Golden Oreo Doggy Soft Serve had a cute doggy-shaped sugar dessert on top of lemon soft serve, along with crumble, pearls, and pudding. The soft serve was much larger than I expected. The pudding was delicious, and the crumble added a nice accent, making it a really delightful dessert. It's definitely worth visiting and trying these desserts. This place is my regular bubble tea spot, and I look forward to trying a different menu item on my next visit.

I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.

My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. Because the drinks are pretty sweet I usually adjust it to like 75% sweetness. I also adjust the ice level to get more for my buck and ask for less ice. Hard to judge boba shops in my opinion. Especially since any adjustments I make to my drink is on me and not on the shop. Service was quite fine. Only one person was on the job when I was there, but I've seen two people there before. One to make drinks and the other manning the cashier. Overall, I thought my drink turned out fine. Just have to adjust by trial and error to get the right sweetness down for yourself.
