You're able to purchase these supplies, as well as artsy pieces made by local small businesses. There was tons of cute Pokemon merchandise! This is a cute shop. They sell a bunch of refreshing tea drinks and also have a small "Makers" corner in the shop where they sell cute odds n ends that one would normally find inside a Makers shop. I love the crocheted items. They are so cute. We ordered a Baiko Matcha and a Pink Lychee. Both drinks were enjoyable but I honestly didn't taste much Lychee in my drink. I tasted mostly Strawberry in it. I think I would probably choose some kind of tea beverage next time. After all, with a name like Teaspoons & Co., I guess they would excel in making tea rather than a fruity drink like Pin Lychee. I love the selection of goods on their shelves. Passionfruit Syrup and Wintermelon Syrup both caught my eye. The Wintermelon Syrup I found to be especially unique. I have definitely never come across Wintermelong Syrup in a store before. 12:30 pm on a tuesday and there was a steady stream of people coming through the door, but nothing that felt rushed. seating is limited, with just a few tables inside and a couple more out on the patio, but there was enough room to settle in while deciding what to order. teaspoons & co is one of those places that immediately feels cheerful. tucked along east hastings in the heights, it's bright, cozy, and full of personality. natural light pours through the front windows, warm wood shelving lines the walls, and colourful little details give the space a welcoming feel. while looking over the menu, i found myself distracted by the makers corner. it's filled with handmade goods from local artists, including stickers, keychains, pet tags, greeting cards, ceramics, and other little treasures. it's the kind of display where you stop for a quick look and end up spending a few extra minutes browsing. once i finally made it back to the counter, i realized just how many matcha options there were. teaspoons & co sources premium matcha from uji, shizuoka, and fukuoka, japan, and they clearly take their tea seriously. they also mill premium tea leaves into a silky powder for their milk tea lattes, and you'll find traditional teaware, bamboo chasens, and other matcha accessories if you're inspired to make your own at home. the menu doesn't stop at matcha either. there are fresh fruit smoothies, milk teas, and plenty of specialty drinks, with toppings like pearls, crystal pearls, and flavoured jellies if you want to customize your order. i went with the guava matcha latte made with oat milk. while i waited, the smell of freshly baked cookies kept drifting over from the counter. they're baked in house, and i was already regretting not ordering one. when my drink arrived, it was almost too pretty to stir. the soft pink guava layered, creamy oat milk and vibrant green uji matcha made it look like summer in a cup. the matcha was smooth, rich, and earthy, and you could tell it was high quality. i just wish the guava had been a little more noticeable. it added a touch of sweetness, but the matcha was definitely the star. if you're someone who enjoys a bold, authentic matcha flavour, you'll probably love it. i was simply hoping for a little more tropical fruit to peek through. teaspoons & co feels less like a typical bubble tea shop and more like the kind of neighbourhood café you stumble across and keep coming back to. whether you're there for a thoughtfully made matcha, a fresh smoothie, a homemade cookie, or just to browse the makers corner, it's an easy place to spend more time than you intended. read more

3.5 stars I stopped by to try their Pandan matcha since I haven't seen that elsewhere (it was definitely on the pricer end at around $8/9). While it was a solid matcha latte where I could taste the depth of the matcha, the pandan flavour was quite negligible which I was disappointed by. Otherwise the store did have a lot of cute crafts by local artists so if you're in the area, I'd say check it out but maybe try another drink :) read more

We visited Teaspoon to try their drink. I have always passed by this cafe and finally had a chance to visit. What we got: Mango and pandan slush, Matcha pandan latte. They offer very unique flavor combination menu. Mango and pandan slush was decent and tasted good. Mango jelly was nicely chewy and slush was delicious. Pandan flavor was very weak. Matcha pandan latte was ok. Matcha flavor dominated drink, pandan flavor was subtle. I wish pandan flavor had been a bit stronger to be unique combination. They offer many creative and unique flavor drinks. I will try different items next time. They also offer variety of cookies. read more

Great place for bubble tea with an assortment of base tea flavours such as Thai tea, matcha, etc. as well as various topping options to choose from. You can also buy boba kits to make your own at home. There's a display case up front with an assortment of cookies and small bites, and ice cream. Occasionally, there are pop up vendors selling food or snacks. There's also a few display shelves selling goods from local vendors. Service is friendly and fast. They can get a bit busy depending on when you go. There are not a lot of seating options so probably best for grab and go. Lots of street parking available up front or on the side streets. read more

Was super excited to try this place, especially since they have guava matcha (I love guava!) Decided to supersize and treat myself to more goodness, but the guava flavor was almost undetectable. If it wasn't for seeing the guava at the bottom and feeling the grittiness of the pulp, id question whether it was even there. The boba selection and unique cookies are to die for at this location off Hastings and it was so good we came back twice in less than two weeks! I had the mango coconut pandan slush with boba and this time around we got the banana bread and pumpkin cookies that were deelish. On a previous visit we got the strawberry matcha and red velvet cookies which were both awesome. Bummed they didn't have the fresh mango to try the mango and matcha drink they had advertised out in front but means will have to go back again. Also be sure to pre-order some great mochi from the T Sparrow pop up located inside. I ordered their Uji matcha microground powders previously online but this is my first time visiting their physical store. It's a small but very cute little establishment but just be aware that they don't have any public restrooms. They have a cute little makers corner with various artist alley items for sale to check out while you wait for your drinks. We ordered their Guava Matcha w/oat milk, and their Matcha Pandan w/oat milk. The guava and pandan flavours really come through on both drinks and they use a good amount of matcha as well. The pandan flavor in my opinion overpowers the matcha and tasted like pandan milk to me. Will definitely be back to try their other drinks. read more

Cute cafe I stumbled upon! They had a variety of drinks that all looked good. I opted for the hojicha latte which was very balanced. My friend got the matcha guava which he enjoyed. The unexpected combination of matcha and guava helped bring out the sweetness of the drink. I also picked out this longan honey which I haven't seen anywhere else before. We were in the area and decided to stop by to get some drinks after dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find there was a discount happening for their 3rd year anniversary. Service was excellent. We got our orders fairly quickly. The store had a lot of items for sale with some limited seating. It is mainly a take out shop. I had the guava matcha drink and it was delicious with a strong matcha flavour with a hint of guava. I liked the flavour option as guava is not a common flavour I see elsewhere. My sister, wife, and I stopped by this tea shoppe twice for boba drinks during our stay in the Vancouver area since it was relatively close to our hotel. The shop was compact inside with only a few seats, but that's ok considering we didn't sit and drink at the shop. The drinks we had both times were absolutely fantastic. My group was shocked that this quality of boba drink was present in Canada! Coming here as visitors from Southern California, I tampered my expectations when visiting tea shoppes outside California since we have so many high quality places in our area. On the first visit (July 24th), I orders their "drink of the day", which was the Passion Mango Green Tea. The tea flavor was very prevalent and not overly sweet. The fruit flavors from the passion fruit & mango complemented the tea perfectly, too (my only wish while drinking it was there should've been bits of mango in the tea). On the second visit (July 25th), I ordered the Pino Lychee, which was Lychee + Strawberry with Jasmine Tea. That tea was just as amazing as the tea from the day before....possibly even better since the jasmine flavor was even more fragrant! Needless to say, we will wholeheartedly recommend this tea shop to anyone visiting the Vancouver area for sure! read more

The inside is cute but only two small tables (four chairs) and a bench for seating. Drinks are in the $6.25 to $6.95 range. - Guava matcha ($6.70) - subbed for oat milk ($0.70). They add way too much ice. Guava was prominent, balanced well with the matcha. - Hojicha milk tea latte ($6.40) - roasted note was nice but too much ice. Drink was watered down. - Strawberry jasmine ($6.70) - not much jasmine flavour. Our least favourite. - Oasis slush ($6.70) with pearls ($0.70) and lychee jelly ($0.70) - standard fruit slush but on the sweet side. Would recommend half sweet. Tiny hole in the wall bubble tea shop on Hastings. Parking is available on Hastings outside of afternoon rush hour. There are also the side streets, as well as some random free lots. This place is tiny. The interior is bright and colourful. Looks like they also sell some pastries, though the display was empty when I was there (near closing). There are 2 tables with 2 seats each, and no washrooms. Speaking of washrooms, one table there looks like it was made out of a bathroom floor. See photo. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have fruit teas and slushes, as well as milkshakes and tea lattes. I had the Thai tea latte (basically Thai milk tea). Hit the spot. I must say the quality here is very good. They don't skimp out on the tea, which is really nice. Also they don't completely fill the cup with ice (ie less product), which is also very nice. Will be back to try a fruit drink at some point. Quality bubble tea at reasonable prices. After having a matcha guava drink in Honolulu, I've been craving it again and I was so happy to hear they had it! I ended up trying two drinks and after the first couple of sips, I knew I'd be a return customer. Matcha guava- I got it with oat milk and crystal pearls. The crystal pearls had a good chew, and more texture than regular pearls. The matcha was strong and the guava flavour still came through. Pink lychee- It had strawberry puree and lychee and jasmine green tea. Mixed together with pearls and it was a refreshing drink. Both drinks were tasty. Flavours were well balanced in both drinks with the tea and fruit flavours coming through. This will be a go-to bubble tea place for me. read more

The pearls were super fresh and flavourful. I liked how it was paired with the HK milk tea since I don't usually have pearls with HK milk tea (as I get them at the HK style cafes). I hate chain BBT places that use syrups and powders. Teaspoons & Co. finely mill their tea leaves so you get the most intense flavours that you don't get from steeped teas at other places. Love their variety of fresh fruit teas, pure teas, slushes, shakes, and their variety of matchas too. They offer milk and sweetener substitutes for us that have food allergies/preferences as well. They have a makers corner with the cutest merch you can purchase for local crafters. This boba was insanely good. The roasted hojicha was rich, and not bitter. Two thumbs up! The flavor was intense, but not too strong. Both the grass jelly and lychee jelly were fresh, and had a texture like Jell - o. The staff was helpful and friendly. Cute and cozy atmosphere but don't count on finding a seat. Wow, I would say this is quite a little gem within our city. If you like the whole style of ground milk tea, like a matcha style, this would be the place. This was the very first time trying this type of style in the way of a boba, and omg, first sip was just a BLAST of flavour!! Once you have tried this style of latte/milk tea, you will never want to go back. They offer tons of flavours, from Hojicha, to Jasmine and the great thing is that you can bring some of the micro grounds home yourself to make it, I love it! Next time I want to try a different type of milled tea drink, and maybe try out their selection of fruit teas as well. They have a good menu with a good selection. I do want to try their slushes next time, I know I am a child, and I want to sit down with a bunch of friends to see how their vibe and ambience of their venue is like. They offer something called Tea bombs, which are chocolate infused microground teas and you can melt them with a warm milk at home. I have got to order a bunch of these to try out with my friends!! Yay, Teaspoons finally opened!! I have been waiting for months now and I finally got to try their watermelon fruit tea on Hats Off Day 2023. There was a line up when I ordered, but I got my drink pretty quick, they even handed it to me rather than putting it on the side and wait for me to pick it up because they see that I am busy with a baby in the stroller. I also got to try their pink lychee and passionfruit mango drink. Both were super delicious and their most popular fruit teas! The passionfruit mango is the sweetest drink out of the three, and it goes well with grass jelly. I loved pink lychee with coconut jelly! It's a small store and only one table, so it's more of a grab n go situation. They're still adding a few touch ups to their store and adding more items in the menu. I look forward to coming back again when the store is fully opened. The staff is really friendly. read more
