    Double Taro Milk Tea
    Elaine L.

    - Mashed Taro Bubble Tea ($6.09) - Red Bean Coconut Milk Tea ($6.09) - Matcha Tiramisu ($7.99) - Oreo Milk Pudding ($6.29) I enjoyed the Mashed Taro Bubble Tea, the mashed taro added some more dimension to the drink and it was good! The Red Bean Coconut Milk was yummy, but I couldnt really taste the coconut milk in it. The matcha tiramisu didn't taste too much like a tiramisu. I think it was more of a regular matcha cake. Given the price, I would have went to grab a slice of cake from elsewhere. The oreo jello was a coconut jello with oreo crumbs sprinkled on top. It would have been super cool if the oreo crumbs were integrated into the jello!

Come check out this new BBT place, located in the vibrant Collingwood area of East Van. You will find plenty of drink options to choose from, including the always popular mango pomelo sago, osmanthus fermented rice milk tea, and white peach oolong tea with cream. You should also check out their unique dessert waffle cones. We got the pork floss black sticky rice with taro paste and whipped cream and it was not too sweet and simply satisfying. The decor has a sense of calm and warmth, with a beautiful mural of the neighbourhood. The colours are very inviting. They are currently having a soft opening from 5PM to 10pm daily and will be closed on Dec 24 to 26, 31 for holidays as well. So be sure to come back on Jan 1 for their grand opening.

-Yelp Experience- I tried the white peach jelly oolong milk tea. There was a bit of a wait but I enjoyed the drink. The milk tea is very milky and the peach jelly added a nice dimension of flavor to the drink. The bbt shop is cozy and colorful inside. I suggest coming here to wind down at the end of your day. :)

I recently tried the drinks from PEACHY PEACHY 桃喜 in Vancouver, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! Crispy Pearl Brown Sugar Milk with Sea Salt Cream 芝芝黑牛啵啵 It is a sweet and nutty Taiwanese drink with a smooth texture. It has a distinct caramel-like flavour from the brown sugar and a mild starchy taste from the tapioca pearls. The cream on top of the drink provides a smooth and velvety texture that contrasts with the chewy tapioca pearls and the creamy milk base. Crispy Pearl Brown Sugar Milk with Sea Salt Cream is a sweet and satisfying drink with a unique combination of textures and flavours. Mango Pomelo Coco Sago 桃喜杨枝甘露 Having a Mango Pomelo Coco Sago in winter can transport you to a sunny tropical paradise and offer a delightful escape from the cold weather. The sweet and refreshing flavours of juicy mangoes, tangy pomelos, and creamy coconut milk can lift your mood and give you an instant energy boost. The chewy sago pearls can provide a satisfying texture that warms you up from the inside out. It's like a mini-vacation in a glass that can brighten up even the dreariest winter day. Drink: 5/5 Must Try! Service: takeout Kids: 5/5 Woohoo! Wanted to wait until I've been here a couple of times before giving my final review! The drinks here are super unique which sets it apart from the hundreds of bubble tea spots in town. Their price points are reasonable and toppings are well done. They also have an interesting pudding flavours for toppings that I'm interested in trying out next time. The milk tea here is heavy on the milk flavour and less strong on the tea if you're into that. We also tried out the rose lychee crema drink which was a dream! The foam was super smooth and balanced everything out nicely. QQ taro balls are a hit here and they might be out when you visit so make sure you come earlier in the day!

New BBT place on Kingsway, between Boundary And Lincoln. This place offers specialty BBT flavors that's not often found in other chain BBT stores. And I love the thought they put into designing a pretty peachy peachy wall mural in their store. How can one resist a BBT place that's so IG friendly? Make a stop to photobomb your pals with your drink selfie. Here's an ideal stop for an IG worthy moment if your cute date wanna make a stop for BBT. (*放閃的畫面* 甜蜜時光配上甜甜的波霸奶茶~) For this first visit, I tried the chrysanthemum milk tea with fermented rice because I love fermented rice. Ordered it with no ice and half sugar. I like the sweet milk tea flavor. Yet for those who prefer black coffee or less sweetness, you may wish to customize your drinks to 30% or no sugar. I am already planning my next visit to try a mainstream bbt flavor and sample a drink with bubbles like red bean bubble tea or Oreo bubble tea. Tho their white peach oolong jelly milk tea and double taro milk tea sounds nice too... Hmm, the Waffle cones and dessert items also look tempting... BBT dilemma of too many flavors and what to order~~~ It's ok when I visit next time, I will look for recommendations from our Yelper squad to resolve my sweet dilemma :)

I discovered Peachy Peachy from a Yelp event a few weeks ago and I decided to come back again tonight to try a different bubble tea. I got the Rose Lychee Popping Boba, 0 ice and 30% sugar. It was soo refreshing and cold without ice, and it had enough level of sweetness. I think this was a perfect hot summer drink to cool down. I appreciate that the bubble tea maker acknowledged us when we walked in, and told us that he will be out in a minute, just making a drink for someone before us. I love the mural on the wall. Peachy Peachy has limited seating, as it is more of a grab n' go situation. Friendly service. I look forward to coming back and trying other flavours like the Sakura (Cherry Blossom) drink!

Was sad to see Yi Fang close down their Kingsway location but excited to see a new bubble tea shop pop up. Tried four of their drinks; two being their seasonal hot drinks and the other two were just the regular cold drinks. Brown sugar ginger tea - $5.99 (seasonal) Red jujube longan tea - $5.99 (seasonal) Mango pomelo coco sago - $6.99 Rose lychee with cream - $6.49 The two seasonal drinks are hot drinks and are supposed to bring you warmth and healing properties, with ingredients like jujube and ginger. Their pricing is very reasonable/affordable in comparison to other places and they also even have mochi and cheesecake on the menu. Highly recommend the brown sugar ginger tea!

Osmanthus Milk Tea with Fermented Rice
    Dana S.

I tried the Osmanthus Milk Tea w/ Fermented Rice here. The staff member that helped me really clearly explained the things I had questions about and made sure to check my sugar and ice levels. I had my drink at the minimum 30% sweetness but my first impression of it was still that it was way sweet - I can't imagine how sweet 100% would be! Once I got past the sweetness, it was clearly a high quality drink and rice, but for me, who isn't used to super sweet drinks, all the sugar kind of covered that up. I think the base price looks a little expensive but, to be fair, the topping is included so it actually comes out to be the same price or less than similar drinks from other high-end bubble tea shops. The shop itself is small and mostly designed for takeout, although there are two small tables with stools. What they have done with the small space is nice, though! I especially like the stylized mural of Kingsway.

Cute mural on the wall! Creates the perfect vibe!

Peachy Peachy was my first experience with Bubble Tea! The mural on the wall immediately sets the mood for a cute and fun experience. I really appreciate that they have images of all their drink choices on posters, it helped a newbie to choose! I went for the Lychee Rose Sparkling Water with Popping Boba. The popping boba was so fun! Sounds weird, but it has the same satisfying pop as tobiko (fish eggs). Doesn't taste like fish eggs though!! The popping bobas have an almost creamy quality to them. I found it delicious. It was all around a Peachy Peachy Keen experience!! (...I had to...)

Came here recently and tried their double taro fresh milk tea. First time trying taro tea as I'm more of a fruity milk tea person but the tarp was a very nice surprise and very glad to try. If has Taro jelly plus tarp bits so the texture was a great combination. The server was very patient with us explaining different tea as well. The tea house is nicely decorated with paintings of the area and shop. Very bright and cheerful feeling. We were just going to buy and take out but we ended up drinking our teas in the shop.

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
