a variety of drinks on a table

Looking for a cold drink on a hot day at the MacArthurGlen outlet mall and this was the place to hit ! Lots of bubble tea favourites and other enticing drinks on the menu. Bubble waffle also available here. We tried the watermelon slush with pearl, passion fruit tea with aloe vera, and strawberry milkshake. Everything is customizable for sugar and topping options. Nice patio chairs outside the store to sit and sip. Overall great option in the area to hit.

This tea place is located inside the outlet mall near the airport. It the only one there so we have no other choices. The tea was okay nothing special but the bubble waffle was not as expected. The service was really pleasant and quick. The cafe has nice seating area and deco.

We ordered the Mango Supreme which included mango puree, mango pudding and mango ice cream! It was so delicious and refreshing at the same time. Every sip contained an even mixture of each of the components. Heavenly. It was priced at $10.45 including tax. Not bad when the size of the cup was 20 Oz. The service was courteous and very efficient by the lone cashier. The ambiance in the Cafe was quiet with some pop music playing at a low volume. There are about 8 sets of cafe seating for customers, the room was bright with a nice air flow coming in from the open doors at the parking lot entrance and the outside door. This shop is one of many located underneath Superstore parkade on #3 road. This is a hidden cafe that provides a lovely tropical retreat. Don't miss it.

The batter didn't have that typical eggy fragrant smell or taste either. The black sesame flavour was quite lacking as well. I think they need to toast the black sesame first before adding it to their batter. It was so mediocre I only had 2 pieces. I remember their egg waffles being so good, hot and crispy many years ago. No wonder the shop is always empty now whenever I pass by. Their drink prices have gone up, too. For drinks, there's so many other better options in Richmond, and they all cost the same price so don't waste your money here. Also, they no longer have a public washroom. The sign says out of service but I am pretty sure the staff use it themselves. I understand why they'd do this although I don't know if it follows the rules for cafes. I would recommend Eggette House for egg waffles instead. Definitely won't be coming back.

The atmosphere isn't loud and the vibes felt good Chicken burger ($24)- comes with one hashbown and a salad. The hashbrowns came with each dish we ordered. They look great but I feel like they could have been a bit crispier on each side. I would want like a harder shell (not sure if that makes sense). Flavour wise I like that it isn't too salty. The salad was also really refreshing and well dressed. The burger itself was great. Loved the brioche bun and the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very juicy. Would recommend this dish Bulgogi Benedict with kimchi and 2 hashbrowns (24) - I felt like this one was a huge disappointment. The bulgogi was a big chewy. I did like that it wasn't too sweet. The egg itself was very pale but it was poched well. The hollandaise sauce was not luscious enough (personal preference). Wish it was more buttery. It was more watery Fisherman's breakfast ($22) - I would not get this again. The bacon was a bit hard to cut. The eggs were okay I like that they weren't heavily seasoned. The sourdough bread was very generic. I wouldn't get this again Overall great for brunch in groups of 4. The food can be a hit or miss. Food isn't heavily seasoned which is good. The drinks look good but we didn't try any. The servers are all really nice and they are fast.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.

Azure Play Cafe is place where parents can hang out with each other WHILE their little ones play in the children area. This cafe is meant to be a space for all ages. They do this by integrating a play space into the cafe and offering S.T.E.M. and cooking workshops for kids! This allows parents to come to the cafe without having to worry about their children getting bored during their stay. Azure Play Cafe put a lot of time and energy into their cafe menu design because they really wanted it to reflect the cafe's theme. They designed it to look like a magazine to make it unique and match the relaxing atmosphere of the cafe. It's really worth the look because all the photos in it are incredible! If you prefer to look at all their menu items at once, they have a list menu on their front door. They offer a variety of items including fruit salads, sweet soup, jiggly pancakes, waffles, shaved ice and vitamin C fruit drinks! While Grayson and I visited, we were told that their Super Vitamin C drinks and homemade cakes are one of their features. The owner and his wife went on a soul-searching trip to China and on this trip they discovered how to make these items under trained professionals. This allowed them to learn about how to combine ingredients to make the perfect creation. If you're down on Vitamin C, the super orange vitamin c drink is for you! This was similar to an orange juice in that it had a bright and refreshing taste but had the lightness of the tea infused. We were surprised as to how much it tasted like fresh orange juice because we didn't expect it to be like this at all!

The Story Cafe was one the few places that are close to the airport, open early in the morning, and have a high rating. The Story Cafe does live up to the good ratings! I've been a regular client over the years,…read moreand have come for weekend brunch, lunch on weekdays, dinners, and even the Thursday live music nights. This is a Saturday at about 3:10pm. Upon entry, we saw only two or three tables occupied. Our waitress took her time coming up to us, and didn't really greet us. She just said they only have the Happy Hour menu as it was after 3pm. We never had Happy Hour before, but based on our past experiences, we were quite sure the smaller menu will be fine. I told her there are 4 of us, and she had to look around the restaurant, and then a looooong gaze at her tablet showing the tables. She pointed to a table towards the wall with the record player. We approached the table, then my wife wanted to sit at the end table behind ours. We asked the waitress, and she said it was reserved! OK, fine. We'll settle into our first table. We found it odd as reservations are not allowed during brunch and happy hour until 5pm. We were there shortly after 3pm. She then brought us menus, but only cared to bring two, when she knows there are four of us. Not a word, and just walked away. I turned towards her but she was already walking away. By this time, I didn't bother anymore. I just walked over myself and grabbed the menu. Then she didn't serve us anymore. Another Asian young man then came with the water bottle. A bit more eye contact this (yay) but still no smile. Just asked us what to drink. Took order and stepped away. We then ordered our dishes, and the food came promptly, except for the flat bread, which came more towards the end when other items are nearly finished. All good, but all of us just felt a whole different vibe this time, all having been here before. Sure enough, the table behind was still unoccupied by the time we left an hour later. Hmm. We were actually there to celebrate my birthday but we weren't really in the mood after not one but two servers seem to need more training. Oh, and heads up. When you call, you'll be talking to AI, not a human being! This should be a 1 star but the good food saved the day.
