Taro milk tea and jasmine milk tea
Melissa L.

Came here after checking out Saku (highly recommend) and was pleased with their happy hour discount! We ordered the taro milk tea and a green milk tea. The taro milk tea was just okay, overall rating was a 3/10. The jasmine milk tea was pretty good but nothing spectacular. It's a great place to stop for a light refreshing drink but nothing to go out of the way for

Beverages were good, recommend getting the deal on weekdays. Service was also good! Cute place near the station, convenient.

This is a small and wonderful location. It's its beautifully decorated, clean and bright. I work close to this location so it's easy to walk over and grab a bubble tea. I think out of the number of places I've tried, this is by far my most favourite place.

One of my favourite bubble tea places! They are known for their pearls and great quality! This location is nice and they're very fast at making the drinks.

A well-known Taiwanese bubble tea brand, I was very excited when they finally made its way to Canada. I especially like their brown sugar milk tea, their pearls are made in house, and are cooked in a brown sugar syrup. The pearls are very different than other bubble tea places, they're soft and chewy and full of brown sugar goodness. They also top it with slightly whipped cream and give it a sprinkle of brown sugar, and a torch to caramelize them. It's definitely a treat when I'm near one of their stores. Service is prompt and it also takes just a few minutes before I get the bubble tea. This location has some free street parking, and they have some tables inside before Covid, which you can sit and relax.

I got to try to hot taro milk with handmade pearls in this location today. They took their time making it as we ordered two drinks. Hot Taro Milk and Grapefruit bbt. The grapefruit was very refreshing bad sweet and tasty!! I would love to have that drink for summer! I ordered a hot taro because I was freezing and I wanted something to fill me up. Hot taro did exactly just that. I'd say that the pearls from Xing Fu Tang are in my Top 2 favourites in the city. Brown sugar pearls are sooo good! I wish there was a Xing Fu Tang closer to my location.

This location makes really good bubble tea! Fast and friendly service. I ordered their jelly mango smoothie and the brown sugar milk tea. The mango was probably one of the best mango drinks I've had at a bubble tea store. It's so cute with the little bunny on top and the strawberry pink pearls are so interesting I like them! Pearl's in both drinks were cooked perfectly I've been getting bad pearls lately at other stores. Can't wait to come back here.. Found my new fav bbt spot in this area!

New Xing Fu Tang location in the Brentwood area. Their signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk was very good, but I feel the BSPM was slightly creamier at their original Vancouver location on Cambie. This could be purely psychological, though, since it's hard to tell without a drink in hand from both locations (omg two BSPM in one sitting ... YUM). I'll be back here to see if it's just in my head, but XFT is still my favorite black/brown sugar BBT in the Vancouver area. I'm just glad there's a new location close to where I work!

I was driving by one day and saw that there was a sign for a soft opening special! We were the first customers of the day so it was pretty exciting to be the first one to order a drink with a fresh batch of pearls. We tried the Brown Sugar Pearl Milk tea -- this was the only flavour available during the soft open. The staff instructed us to take a few sips first without stirring, then followed by another 18 times before you take another sip (interesting instructions!). Usually i'm not a fan of things that are extremely sweet but the caramelized flavour of the brown sugar was amazing! The flavour soaks right through the pearls so there is intense mollasses flavour throughout the whole drink. Definitely something to enjoy once in a while. All of their other drinks looked so pretty on the menu, I'll have to come back when their full menu is available!

**COVID-19 REOPENING REVIEW** We always wanted from try this chain and we finally had a chance! Fantuan was running a BOGO promo with limited drinks. We ordered the Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk ($6.50), and then we ordered Damascus Rose Tea with Lime ($5.95) as the BOGO drink. Ordered on the app at 4:17pm. We arrived at 4:29pm and our order wasn't ready yet. No one was in line so I wondered if they had other orders right before I came in to pick up. Order is quickly ready by 4:31pm (I guess I was eyeing her making the order). Price, portion, taste: - Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk: it's creamy, sugary, bubbly drink. The creamy texture definitely elevate the brown sugar. The pearl tasted a bit over done on the outside. The price of $6.50 is about there for a bubble tea these days. - Damascus Rose Tea with Lime: the lime balances the rose flavour and sweetness really well. Quite like it. However, for $5.95 for this drink I really don't think it is worth it. Overall: Not that we normally go around drinking bubble tea, but we would recommend the Signature Brown Sugar Pearl Milk.

So so soo good! Best pearls I've ever had! Their pearls are so flavourful and soft. You're not chewing on them forever. I would give 5 stars but the only reason it isn't is because it's expensive. Other than that, it's unbelievable!

We stopped by for some late night drinks and was happy this store was opened until 10 pm on New Year's Eve. I ordered the coffee coconut drink. I found it to be a bit on the sweeter side. The store ran out of brown sugar pearls and strawberry toppings which made choosing a drink a challenge because I wanted to try the strawberry topping. Service was fast. There was seating available which was great.

I tasted mostly Strawberry in it. I think I would probably choose some kind of tea beverage next time. After all, with a name like Teaspoons & Co., I guess they would excel in making tea rather than a fruity drink like Pin Lychee. I love the selection of goods on their shelves. Passionfruit Syrup and Wintermelon Syrup both caught my eye. The Wintermelon Syrup I found to be especially unique. I have definitely never come across Wintermelong Syrup in a store before. I was very tempted to buy one of them but in the end, ended up restraining myself. Might buy one next time though.

Unlike the two locations down in Washington, this Chicha San Chen wasn't very busy at all even though it was right after lunch over the weekend. That was not a great sign. Dong Ding Oolong, Cream, Perfect Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($7.95) - I've ordered this drink from other locations multiple times and I can say that what I received did not taste right. There's basically no tea flavor at all and instead the drink is overwhelmed with a heavy caramelized toffee flavor. The flavor profile is basically a lower quality Hokkaido Milk Tea from a first generation-type boba shop with the same overly cloying sweetness often found in those drinks. I noticed they squirt the cream out of a plastic squeeze bottle in this store - I will have to double check, but I'm pretty sure in other stores, they pour it out from a measuring cup. The drink is not nearly as thick and creamy as other locations, and that trademark rich cream, almost slightly milky taste, just isn't there. Honestly the drink isn't terrible, if I had gotten is from a cheaper boba shop. But I pay a premium to get high quality milk tea from Chicha San Chen, and this drink does not meet brand standards at all. The boba is clearly sweetened, but the chew is leathery and the bounce is not the best. It's passable at best.
