Came here for lunch after white water rafting and was so hungry I could have happily eaten my shoe at that point. The turkey sandwich I settled on was tasty enough, the bbq sauce not really a traditional bbq sauce, more like a ketchup. Fries and baked beans were TASTY. Boyfriend had a brisket sandwich and was pretty happy with it, waitress was a sweet lady with a great sense of humor. So why the 3 stars? Well, a table full of older men next to us( locals for sure based on the way the our waitress greeted them all by first name) seemed to have a little issue with the fact I am white and my boyfriend is Hispanic. The food is pretty good. We ordered BBQ ribs, and it was very yammy. Salad bar can be taken as many times as you want. The only thing to complain is you may have to wait for a long time. They got their grits right - creamy, hot and good as a small side - not the typical soup bowl of lumpy over cooked paste that so many restaurants try to get by with. Actually, this restaurant is a 3+. There was a huge crowd there on a weekday evening. Took awhile to be seated. The food was okay. I liked the barbeque sauce which was a little on the sweet side. I'm from TX and lived in CA many years, so I might be a little more judgmental than some people on barbeque. Attentive, pleasant waitress. Bought a blueberry muffin on the way out to eat the next morning. Yummy. Bubba,s served burned hot dogs they call sausages tasteless soupy corn and a disgusting canned type baked beans. Atmosphere is low end, and the service is low end expect long waits and fending for yourself. read more

Love Bubba's! Barbecue is fantastic, garlic toast is a must. But the salad bar is really exceptional. Most barbecue joints do not offer chickpeas and edamame. Great dinner place! We really enjoyed our dinner! The garlic toast they serve was delicious! All of our entrees were delicious. The only exception is the mac and cheese (it was gross), not at all what we were expecting after all the rest of the food we had ordered was awesome. The waiter we had was great and attentive. My St Louis ribs were soooooo good. Suck the bone dry good. We have been all through the south and these have to be some of the better ribs. Our side of beans were just so so, and the corn on the Cobb tasted like frozen corn, not very good. read more

I have heard that they are moving across the street into the old Village Inn space, which will be good because it's bigger than their current space, which is still pretty big. Don't bother. The food is not that good and the beer was more expensive than in the upper class restaurants on The Square.

The food (Lunch) was okay. The service was not bad. It was overpriced like mist other restaurants in Jackson. Not memorable.

Regrettable. We asked at the hotel and again at a gas station for a breakfast recommendation and both places somehow said Bubbas, so we went. I am gluten intolerant and this is not really the kind of place I have an easy time. The server was really sweet, but the food was just gross. I had a breakfast burrito sans tortilla. It tasted like the ingredients were not house-made or fresh, and the salsa seemed to have a tomato sauce or paste component which made it like a marinara... weird. My husband had undercooked eggs over easy and very undercooked hashbrowns. The coffee is subpar. It is more of a greasy-spoon place whose clientele is comprised of overweight tourists who are perhaps happy at a Denny's. I am very picky and much prefer fresh, local, interesting... I wish I had more time to pick a place but we were starving. read more

Great brisket. Nicely smoked! The BBQ beans and cole slaw are great as well. Modestly priced, a definite stop for lunch.

Bubba's was near where we were staying and it was getting late so we didn't have time to look around for somewhere to eat. I chose a chicken sandwich and the salad bar suited my wife perfectly being just what she wanted. An extremely helpful waitress advised that the grilled chicken sandwich would be a better choice due to the quality of the chicken in the fried version. Anyhow the grilled chicken sandwich was brilliant and I thought very reasonably priced. Unfortunately we were a bit late to get our choice with dessert, but the chocolate brownie style pie we ended up with was filling and again reasonably priced. Disappointed. We came in for dinner. I was given a large menu with breakfast lunch and dinner on it. I spied a yummy sound half of BBQ chicken (dry rub) on the lunch menu. I was told I couldn't order off of the lunch menu. So the hubby and I decided on a larger plate with the chicken but it had BBQ sauce on it some ribs and brisket. Food was meh. The meat itself was ok the sauce well maybe it was a bottle of Kraft BBQ sauce? The habanero BBQ sauce mmm that was good! My son ordered the homemade mac and cheese. He ate it all! ( that's a small miracle) my daughter ordered the chicken strips but usually wants broccoli, a salad ect instead of French fries. The waitress wouldn't let her have a little bit of salad instead of the fries. The waitress said " no salad is a separate meal." Then the plate of chicken comes out with this huge pile of fries! I asked myself my 4 year old can't have like four pieces of lettuce and some ranch instead of a large fry? Ya you guessed it she ate half of one chicken strip and two fries Ugh. The waitress was less than attentive , but by no means horrible. This place use to have great food! But I think they were bought out and are a franchise now? I'm not sure. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic tasting coffee. My husband got the corn beef hash breakfast and it tasted homemade. I got the traditional breakfast that was tasty. My daughter got the veggie omelet which was huge. My son got the waffles. He said it tasted pretty good. Highly recommend this place for breakfast. Hi all this Zuleyma , I am from California and I lived in Wyoming for two years, the first place my ex hub took me was this place and l love it from the start , great place to take your family and have a good time. We took our son there when he was one and he love it.. Please don't ever close Bubba's like they did the Starbucks in Albertson, where I worked for two years,.. love Jackson Wy and plan on Vacation there soon again .. maybe some day move back ... ya I am cali girl but I loved living in Jackson because of the people there ,,, always warm and kind... any one going thought jackson wy you have to stop at Bubba's first and you never what to leave... love ya Bubb's mmmmm ya ... read more
