The menu sounds really interesting but execution is mid. The mushroom toast is okay but the cheese flavor is too strong for me. Bison brisket, truffle pasta, cheesecake are okay. Curry trout is pretty bland. Heirloom carrot is good. The elk bolgonese is weirdly sour, from vinegar, I think; I do not like it. The huckleberry mocktail drink (not pictured) is pretty good, on the sweet side. Service is quite slow and they keep forgetting my drink

Came on what I thought was a quiet Sunday to find the place booked solid. Have a reservation or expect a long wait. Cozy ambience in the heart of Jackson with a varied menu with Jackson themed choices. Service and attitude of out waitress was animated and fun, follow up for the store manager was also great. This is what customer experience should be. The Tatar and Beats Blue Salad were excellent! The pork buns have had better but were creative. Of course we had to try the Bison Brisket being where we were. We've now had this and elk or other bison spins on classic American fare. It's no wonder beef is the meat of choice, LOL. A little snafu in ordering and timing made the wait for our entree ridiculous and why the minus one star. Due to our crazy wait the manager was so nice to comp us a desert and the donut holes were delicious Overall enjoyable and would come again for the arrival and ambience, choose your entree wisely.

Came here on a Monday night and was happy to be seated right away. Food comes really quickly and the dishes are pretty tasty too. Decor and ambiance are nice although the place can get a bit loud. Kid friendly foods and great options for adults.

We just so happen to be here and snow is low, but the perk is so is the town. Gather did start to fill up as our dinner progressed, so I would recommend reservations! Our service was relaxed, and for us, that was perfect as we're just on vacation enjoying ourselves. We took awhile to look at the menu and I appreciated they had a nice variety of rotating items like soups, wines, beers, and ice creams. We decided to choose some items off their "favorites" and local meats like bison and elk. There is a small bar immediately upon entering and seating to the left and right. There's also a back room for parties.

We did not make reservations, but came early enough to grab one of the few open seats inside. The food and drinks here are amazing! We had Wyomings Old Fashion and a Huckleberry Lemonade that were both amazing drinks. For dinner we ordered the Elk Bolognese and Truffle Pasta, which I'm still dreaming about to this day. If you need to order anything, it's these two pastas. The bolognese is very rich and the truffle pasta is very creamy. The ambiance is very classy and clean. Overall, we can't wait to eat here again when visiting Jackson Hole!

Gather is located in downtown Jackson Hole. We made a reservation for 5:30 PM through OpenTable. I highly recommend making a reservation online, as the restaurant was quite busy even on a Monday night in June. We waited for approximately ten minutes before being seated. The atmosphere of the restaurant is dim and spacious. We were seated in one of the booths near the bar. I was excited to try the bison, as it is a signature dish in Wyoming. We started our dinner with the crispy brussels, which were excellently prepared with just the right amount of seasoning. The Brussels sprouts were fresh and flavorful. For our mains, we ordered the bison brisket, trout, fried chicken, and salad with shrimp. The bison brisket was paired with elk. Unfortunately, the bison lacked flavor and was overcooked. It tasted like a hard-boiled steak without seasoning. The elk on the side did not taste good either; it reminded me of cafeteria food from high school. The curried rainbow trout also lacked flavor. The fish texture was slightly dry but still acceptable. However, the seasoning and flavor were missing. The menu called out Green Curry Paste and Thai Red Curry, however, it is hardly to taste the favour. If you are expecting a bold curry flavor, such as Thai or Indian curry, this dish will not meet your expectations. Despite the disappointment with the bison and trout, I really enjoyed the fried chicken and seasonal peach and burrtta salad with shrimp, even though I only had a few bites. The fried chicken was juicy and hot, and the sauce could have been a little sweeter to better balance the flavors. The salad was fresh and paired perfectly with the tail-on shrimp. Our server was attentive, checked in with us several times during the meal, and notified us when the food was on the way. Water was refilled occasionally without us having to ask, and we never needed to request a refill for our bottle.

While on vacation in Jackson, my husband and I were able to grab dinner at Gather on a Saturday night (we did make a reservation in advance and recommend it, because it was busy!). Drinks were delicious and creative. To start, we did the steak tartar and it was phenomenal. The seasoning and flavor of it - was truly so unique, and bright, and I just wanted to lick the plate. My husband particularly loved the beet mustard that came with it. For dinner, we got the truffle pasta and the Ssamjang marinated ribeye. Again, the flavors were exceptional. This place feels like a weird combination of farm to table, american cuisines, and asian flavors, which definitely kept us on our toes during our meal.

A must visit if youre new to Jackson hole or havent been here before. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. All of their local favorites are on the menu must try the elk bolognese, the fried chicken and wash them down with a good drink. It is a bit on the louder side bec of big get together groups but everyone is happy here.

Food was so good. The meat we got, both the steak and pork was super delicious because I love the charred flavor and cooked really well. The pork buns were fine, I probably wouldn't get them again but it was good to try. The truffle mushroom pasta was also ok but not too much truffle flavor and kind of heavy. The beet salad was great, the candied walnuts was also a great addition. We did not make a reservation and thankfully we were able to get a table for 4 in around 10 minutes on a weekend. We were sat outside and the ambiance was nice, didn't really go inside for a look. Service was good too. Highly recommend downloading the inkind app because you get $50 off $150 and they give 20% cash back too. Use this link if you want an additional $25 off: https://app.inkind.com/refer/NBAHMXPB

    Pork ribeye

Ordered the pork ribeye and elk bolognese, both were delicious! Elk bolognese was filling and didn't taste like well at all if anyone wants to still try without being nervous! Pork chop had couscous and fresh blue berries that worked well together. Overall great service!

Drinks Only As this restaurant was close to our hotel, we stopped in for a couple of drinks and an appetizer to end our night. The restaurant provides a decent size bar in a darkly lit dining room. We were immediately greeted by employee at the bar who introduced himself, as well as his teammate. Between the two of them we were provided excellent service. I appreciated the bartender Alexis making sure I got a drink that suit my taste, something not too sweet. The menu does provide a solid list of cocktails, wine and more. Something for everyone.

The restaurant Gather is popular and I would make a reservation. We ate outside and it was wonderful to enjoy the view of Jackson. I thought the food wasn't worth the price but the person I was with absolutely loved it.

The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! Dressed up and on reservation, we arrived a tad early and were promptly greeted. Maybe hospitality isn't Wyoming's forte, but all of the staff did not seem happy to see nor serve us from the beginning. The booking site only offered high top tables, so that's what I selected. When the hostess asked if we'd like to switch to a table, she was sternly corrected in front of us that it "wouldn't be possible" by another staff member. The interaction felt unprofessional in front of guests, and as if they weren't willing to accommodate us. On top of that fiasco came plenty of glares and stares from staff throughout our visit. Crawfish & Dumpling - 9/10 For the table. Pungent; a few bites satisfy. I've never had crawfish in this setting. Perfect gnocchi. Delicious all around. Oyster Shooter - 8/10 Fairly priced, fresh. Nice bloody mary. Rabbit Ravioli - 6.5/10 Stingy portion of meat. Ravioli is just okay. The fried carrot nest was fun but it was too much for the serving. It's a carrot salad with a bite of meat and maybe 5 ravioli. Bar Steak - One came overcooked and one under. Sides were mediocre. Uninteresting mashed potatoes. Our waitress tried to take our order almost immediately after being seated. She visited few times after ordering. With a 5:30 reservation, we left by 5:57 thanks to the small portions and staff seeming to rush us out. In a tourist destination, I would imagine better hospitality and warmth from local workers. Not many smiles here. I typically tip well, but they didn't seem to want us there and the experience really dampened my entire party's mood.

But the server convinced me to order the signature rack of lamb at The Blue Lion and I swear it was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my entire life. Pro tip: Go later in the evening if you want the full party vibe. And go later if you definitely want a photo on those saddle seats! It's practically a rite of passage!

Review: Iconic Vibes, Skip the Kitchen…read more If you're coming to Jackson, you have to stop by the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar at least once. It is the definition of an iconic Western watering hole. The atmosphere is unbeatable--sitting on the saddle barstools is a rite of passage, and the live band they had playing was absolutely fantastic. They really know how to pick talent that keeps the energy high and the dance floor moving. The service was also top-notch; despite the crowd, the staff was attentive, fast, and kept the drinks flowing with a great attitude. The Pro Tip: Enjoy the neon lights and the music, but skip the food upstairs. It's just not where they shine. Instead, head downstairs to the Million Dollar Steakhouse. The quality difference is night and day--the steak was phenomenal and well worth the visit. Come here for the legendary vibes, the great service, and the live music, but save your appetite for the basement!

Excellent food and drink service. We sat at the bar. The drinks were excellent and the bartenders…read morewere very attentive servers. We got a few things and shared. It is sort of tapas style and goes nice if you decide to eat family style. The entrees are sort of medium sized portions, so, in most cases if you share with one person you should get 2-3 dishes. If you have a light appetite, though, one of the pastas would be plenty for you. We got the Caesar salad, the elk bolganaise, and the short rib. Everything was good. They made me a couple standard Old Fashioneds different than the menu option, which were excellent. It was a new Rye to me so I took a picture of the bottle to get some at home. Prices were on the high side, but service and quality were good. My drink was $22 which, frankly was a little obscene for an Old Fashioned with a "mid-range" rye, but I was on vacation and I still had a 2nd. LOL. It was great. It's just a lot for a drink. If you want to go over the top, they also have a Tomahawk steak for $126 that I'm sure is excellent. A lot of folks were getting the bone marrow which looked good. Entrees seemed to be around $30 each. I would go back. I liked sitting at the bar and talking to people. Bartenders were really great about spacing out the food so things didn't come on top of one another.

Heard great things about Glorietta Trattoria so booked it when visiting Jackson Hole this weekend…read more It did not disappoint. First, it's located in what was a killer old house in downtown. Open style kitchen and a gathering waterhole type bar. Note: the seats at the bar reserve faster than the tables. After seeing the insides I can see why. Simply amazing. Our waitress knew the menu front to back with all the nuances. When we asked what some of her favorites were. She literally rattled off 1/2 the menu. Menu is not over sized, on purpose. Every dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. Note #2: the Ceasar Salad is enough for 2 or more! And it's fantastic. About the only thing I could suggest to be better here is if management had pre-printed "Cowboy hat etiquette" cards to hand out to the patrons who arrive with hats. Lots of hats. Not a lot of true understanding for Cowboy Hat etiquette. From casual to formal, hats are off while sitting and dining. Highly recommend Glorietta Trattoria. Just remember to take your hat off at the table.
