No elk, no bison, no moose but did find a unicorn in Jackson, WY. In the middle of town is the best layout, best customer service and most flavorful dishes, located at Binn 22. A unique setting in a wine / liquor store with a tapas bar in the back, amongst the wine racks and liquor bottles. Long communal tables and sitting hip to hip with foodies, locals, and people meeting total strangers. It is good conversation with everyone sharing stories, not once was politics mentioned. Reservations are not taken, instead you will find the host making people scoot to make room for new arrivals at the long tables. Our servers were spot-on with service, drinks and sharing her favorites. It is cozy and casual, people meeting people. The spirits here are for the pros with knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and bubbles. We started with the wild mushroom mozzarella with balsalmic butter, parmesan and balsalmic glaze served on crunchy baguettes. It was unbelievably flavored and tasty, a great start to the night and must have! The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. A pleasant surprise and would order again. The lamb pintxos was our final selection and a great dish to end the night on. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! The menu changes frequently and the tapas allow you to try several different delectable dishes. It encourages sharing and forces you to open up and try different dishes. Had dinner at the bar. We started with the cheese plate and had all five offerings. They were ok but nothing stood out as being special. We then tried the Shrimp with chorizo and cherry tomatoes. It was very good. We also had the Lamb Pintxos which my wife raved about. The place was crowded and bustling. Service was quick and attentive. Really great spot in Jackson a couple of blocks from the square. We were able to be seated right away on the patio on a Thursday night as a party of four (including two teenagers). Lots of delicious food options, including a number of pescatarian choices. The tuna was excellent, as were the patatas bravas. We also enjoyed several versions of the mozzarella and burrata. We went here for dinner last night and it was lovely. Highly recommend and when we're back in town, we will definitely stop by. Our waitress was so sweet and funny. The Garnacha blend and Bordeaux blend were both delicious. For food we had the fried artichoke 5/5, the potatas bravas 3/5 (potatoes weren't cooked enough, but the sauce was great), and the lamb 5/5. We tried so many of their amazing tapas and none disappointed. Our faves were the meatball (so tender and flavorful), the lamb (the mojo sauce was delectable) and the shrimp (we sopped up all of the delicious and savory sauce with the baguette slices provided). Been here several times and most of the fun is selecting the wine on the wine shop that you will bring to the table to enjoy with your meal. The dishes are tapas style so if you're with a few people order 3 or 4 to start and then if you're still hungry order a larger dish. It's definitely family style shared plates. As I said it's all about the wine. The service is not great, but acceptable for Jackson standards. We'll keep going back as it's a unique dining experience in Jackson. read more

We were there for our 30th Anniversary. I would totally recommend if you like tapas. Everything we ate was delicious and we tried many of the dishes. I especially liked the carrots. It's a small tapas style restaurant serving Italian food. The red pesto burrata was my favorite dish, along with the espresso cheesecake which tasted homemade - yummy! The steak and grilled octopus were too salty. The service was excellent however which made the meal a very pleasant experience overall. I would come back just for the cheesecake alone.
