Plenty of beer on tap. But the main thing is food and the patio where u can look the town square. For food, just get the bison burger and cheese curds Seems like everyone is ordering that and it was very good. Doesn't taste any different than a beef burger but seems like it is leaner. I am sure other entrees are good too. While you wait for food, you can watch the game on their TVs or go outside and people watch the town square. Service is great, waiter check on you all the time.

Nicely decorated, host was friendly, located middle of town, food was good but it took forever for us to get a server and they was not busy at all. It took entirely too long for service but it didn't take long to get our food after they finally came too ok the table. Probably just an off night. Good food though!! :) we had several dishes, I just didn't get pictures of it all.

We love roadhouse - it's a great brewery in the Jackson area. There's an awesome upstairs patio, bar seating and long tables. You may need to share a table if you're going during busier hours. We got some appetizers which was the perfect amount for 2 people who weren't super hunger but wanted to eat. Beers are always so good - highly recommend the walrus

Decent brew pub. Good location . Good was standard brewpub fare, with good execution. I wasn't a big fan of the several beers I tried but they weren't bad either. Service was friendly if a bit slow in a relatively slow day. Overall I'd visit again but wouldn't go out of my way either.

They have so many local beers here. My favorite was Don't Tell Me to Smile, which is a sour beer. It is served in a tulip glass and is 10 oz. So it is smaller than a lot of the other beers served here. I ordered medium buffalo wings. They were so good and came with celery and carrots and ranch dressing. They have cheese curds which were crispy and delicious. It gets very crowded here so it is best to get here before four. Otherwise you might have to wait. They have some nice outdoor seating with heat lamps. When we sat out there, it actually got a little bit warm. We came here a couple of times because of the good food and it is just a nice and relaxing place to be. Service was friendly but fairly slow. It was okay because we were in no rush. If I am ever 8n this area again, I would want to come back here.

Visited here on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. My wife and I stopped in after a day viewing moose, bison, snow capped peaks in Grand Teton National Park and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson. We tried to get in around 2 pm for a beer but they were closed then, so we returned for dinner. We were pretty hungry since we walked here from our hotel and the wind stirred up and streets were icy. This place is a bit pricey, paid over $75 for dinner and drinks but the food and beer were good. Our waitress served us quickly and checked on us throughout the meal. I will say right now: order the fried Wisconsin cheese curds as an appetizer. You won't regret it as they are amazing! My lettuce thai wraps featured lettuce (of course), fried pork shoulder, fresh herbs, pickled carrots and onions, with toasted sesame ponzu sauce. They were good, but not as good as those cheese curds. My wife had the shrimp and grits which she said she liked. We ordered a flight of four beers: The Disciple a dank hoppy IPA; Pono Life a 5%, hazy IPA; Upside Out a 4% Australian Pilsner; and Yoshimi Battels! an experimental rice and grain beer fermented with champagne yeast at 10%. I must say the Yoshimi experimental beer had me floored. Completely unique, I had to order a pint of it. My wife liked the hazy IPA and ordered her own pint. This Pub and Eatery is by Jackson Hole's downtown square and a perfect place to explore. The food and beer is pricey but good quality. If I had to do it over, would order the cheese curds with a couple of beers and leave dinner to another place.

I loved the look & feel of this place inside! The garage doors & sliding barn doors are such a fun aesthetic! Food wise, Get the shrimp & grits!! It was the most delicious buttery, creamy goodness! Great heat to it. Shrimp & sausage were cooked to perfection. Best we've ever had & my friends are still talking about it! The duck fat tots were a great crispy crunch with a soft fluffy inside appetizer. The aioli sauce slapped! Duck meat was spread evenly over the tots & it was good! Buffalo wings were the most true Buffalo wings. Definitely a hit for a table & shareable We loved them! The chilaquiles nachos were good. We grabbed them vegetarian style. I thought there would be more substance on them. The watermelon salsa that came with them was delicious! Drinks were great & we happened to go during happy hour which was even better! Service was fast! Check this place out!!

Love the Roadhouse bear logo!

Perhaps I need to try a different beer option and would have gotten more out of my beer experience here. I had The Walrus IPA and while it wasn't bad unfortunately I didn't find much for complexity or anything that unique about it with the flavor. Perhaps exploring in the direction of a lager or a porter I would have gotten more out of it. Not to say that I won't give their beers another try sometime. I most certainly will as hopefully in the cards a full scale Wyoming brewery tour of the state Steve and I want to do in upcoming years.

From the moment you walk in, it feels like stepping onto a movie set in the best way possible. First off: the saddle bar stools. Yes, they're real saddles, and yes, they're as fun as they sound. The rustic wood interior, antler chandeliers, and classic country vibe make this place feel authentically Wyoming without being cheesy. It's lively, loud, and exactly what you hope for in a legendary cowboy bar. The drinks are solid and poured generously. Expect classic cocktails, cold beer, and whiskey options that fit the setting. Prices are about what you'd expect for a popular spot in a tourist town, but the atmosphere makes it worth it. If there's live music, even better. The dance floor fills up quickly with a mix of locals, visitors, and the occasional person in full Western gear. It's not a quiet, intimate cocktail lounge. It's a high-energy, boots-on-the-floor kind of place. Perfect for a fun night out, people-watching, or just soaking in that Old West charm. Pro tip: Go later in the evening if you want the full party vibe. And go later if you definitely want a photo on those saddle seats! It's practically a rite of passage!

Starting first with the food: I am a foodie who has eaten out a LOT and I can honestly say I had the best wings, grilled cheese, & tomato soup of my life! The sandwich bread was perfectly flavorful and toasted crunchy, & the cheese was gooey & wonderful. The tomato soup was the perfect flavor, not plain but not spicy, just right. The wings were hot and crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and had a nice sauce. Also loved their Brussels sprouts. We did not think prices were too high either for being in Jackson. Service was wonderful too. We had the nicest server who was attentive and kept our drinks full and checked on us when needed. Ambiance: Of course the view is so cool! Doesn't matter what time of year, even with ski season being over, we enjoyed the view of the snow melting off Snow King. The restaurant has so many different seating options like bar seating, small tables, big tables, and the outdoor patio is so cool! It's huge and they have heaters out there too. Inside is so bright and cheerful with the huge floor to ceiling windows. Not a bad seat in the whole place. Beer: Yummy! So many different types to try, nice selection. We liked everything we tried. This will be the first place we stop when we return to Jackson, and we are bringing our friends!

Cesar salad with chicken (fried) - Not sure if it was an option. We would've appreciated grilled or pan fried chicken instead of fried chicken. Lager chili - cozy bowl of soup, so hearty and filling! Staff were friendly and helpful.

I had nachos that were amazing and my beer was never half full. I went to the Cowboys bar because it was on my bucket list. But two beers and a two shots cost me $31 dollars. Went to the Virginian and two beers was $4 bucks. Easy math. Great atmosphere great people. If you want to swim through the tourist and over priced shit don't bother to come here. We came in for an appetizer and drink because we'd had a late lunch and were going to skip dinner…read more We just missed the happy hour (4-6pm). This place is attached to the Virginian Lodge complex which is a pretty cool place to stay overall. There's a little gift shop, a burger joint, the saloon, a pool, hot tub, all sorts of little amenities. So this saloon is one part of this whole lodge experience. Immediately, we liked the laid back ambiance with lots of sofas and comfie chairs to hang out with a small group of people. We sat at the bar. For us, the vibe and casual, kickback ambiance was a five star for what we were looking for (which was that). We ordered two appetizers which were maybe about average: the hatch pepper queso was not as good as the Pace queso from the jar that we had just had a week prior. The chicken tenders were typical bar tenders, nothing special. Basic fries. So the food was struggling to score a three star. The thing about the service was that it could have been much better but because of the early hour we seemed to be sort of the warm up customers. One bartender was in training so while he greeted us he was promptly dismissed by the main bartender who alternated between being the best and the worst bartender you might have. When you're two of three people at the bar and there's only five people in the whole place you might expect to get more conversation from the barkeep since we were out of towners and looking forward to hearing about the local scene. Nope. I guess you could say it was mainly our high expectation of having a friendly bartender but ended up feeling sort of like a bar seat. This was at a very low ebb in the season as well as the day so I can't imagine that the experience would improve with more people. As with all things, it's all about expectation. If you don't expect a great bartender, and don't expect great food you might come away pleased with the venue. But no dark on tap so don't expect that either.

This bar is legendary and a staple in Wyoming. The Silver Dollar Bar was country prior to instagram and everyone wearing jeans and boots pretending they lived and worked on a ranch. Watching tourists here is a kick in the pants as they are glued to catching moments of "living western" on their phones. The three elk smashed sliders with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese were accompanied with PERFECT, CRUNCHY, PIPING HOT RINGS. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)
