Call this location to see if they take walking. They said yes but it may have a wait. Got to the location and we were told a 30-45 minute wait. Which was fine since we didn't have reservations. After 45 minutes of waiting they update our wait to an additional 30 minutes. After I asked the hostess why the additional wait, she said the seating they have available are for customers with reservations! After waiting over another 30 minutes they never messaged us for a table! We left after waiting over an hour and a half! Not how we expected our first family experience in Jacksonhole to start! Disappointing... I was hoping the review I was going to leave was going to be around a pleasant dining experience! Went elsewhere with great food!

The service was great. Workers are accommodating & chill, especially with how busy it is. The food is amazing. My boyfriend & I split the StillWest burger & the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. The truffle fries were also delicious. A great way to start our day in Jackson.

Always one of my stops when I town. Love the view of the mountain and the food and service is great.

5 stars for the views and ambiance! Came in on a snowy Jackson day and had a satisfying lunch. Our group of 5 each ordered something different, from the burger to Caesar salad, chili, wings, and grilled cheese, and each dish was lovely. I personally got the Caesar with steak and it was basically a perfect Caesar. But again, back to the views...the huge windows make it a scenic spot that transports you to a winter wonderland with dreamy ski lift views. It's a casual enough atmosphere to go on any occasion. Would love to come back on my next visit to Jackson!

Drinks Only- At the end of ski season in Jackson, we decided to pop in for some drinks. The location of this restaurant is amazing on E. Snow King Ave at the base of Snow King Mountain. The restaurant is located on the second floor and provides amazing views of the ski slopes. A good place to relax inside on a cold windy days, or on the balcony on warmer days around the fireplace. As its featured as a taproom, there is a large selection of locally brewed beers. On the day we visited beers we are on sale for 5 dollars. They also have a good selection of cocktails and wines. Unfortunately as it was at the end of the season, their token homemade hot chocolate was not available- and a lot of their drinks are made with their hot chocolate. I did get to try some other cocktails which were made with local alcohol from a nearby distillery. I appreciate that they did reduce the sweetness to satisfy my taste buds. The place does feature a substantial menu. Unfortunately we were just at the restaurant for drinks, so we did not try their menu. We also had great service- I appreciate the gentlemen who was running around the dinning room service- he was always there when we need him.

    The view from inside!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This is my new favorite place in Jackson! Everything was perfect. Starting first with the food: I am a foodie who has eaten out a LOT and I can honestly say I had the best wings, grilled cheese, & tomato soup of my life! The sandwich bread was perfectly flavorful and toasted crunchy, & the cheese was gooey & wonderful. The tomato soup was the perfect flavor, not plain but not spicy, just right. The wings were hot and crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and had a nice sauce. Also loved their Brussels sprouts. We did not think prices were too high either for being in Jackson. Service was wonderful too. We had the nicest server who was attentive and kept our drinks full and checked on us when needed. Ambiance: Of course the view is so cool! Doesn't matter what time of year, even with ski season being over, we enjoyed the view of the snow melting off Snow King. The restaurant has so many different seating options like bar seating, small tables, big tables, and the outdoor patio is so cool! It's huge and they have heaters out there too. Inside is so bright and cheerful with the huge floor to ceiling windows. Not a bad seat in the whole place. Beer: Yummy! So many different types to try, nice selection. We liked everything we tried. This will be the first place we stop when we return to Jackson, and we are bringing our friends!

    Snapper

I came in for a brief stop to enjoy the view and beautiful weather. We were sat immediately on a Saturday afternoon which was great! Ended up grabbing a drink and a small meal to share. Sitting on the patio was amazing! Great views and ambiance. The food was also great! We got the snapper and chili. Both were excellent! I would definitely recommend!

Nice selection of locally brewed beers and away from the main square of Jackson. This place is just a short walk from the Snow King resort and away from the busy square. They have a large selection of beers available. I tried the Hucklebuck draft. A pleasant mix of blueberry and huckleberry flavors. Also I needed just a small bite to eat so I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Trio. This was the perfect portion for me. Three fried green tomatoes and each one topped differently. One had egg salad, one with a crab salad and then one with pimento cheese. Great flavors and I enjoyed all three. The service was prompt and a nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

The food was very good but it is extremely overpriced. The service was ok, I suppose. They were not super busy so I felt like they could've been a little more attentive. The beer was ok as well. I had the verbena, which is like a Dos XX. They didn't know how to properly salt the rim for a Mexican beer. I only had two because they serve them in a weird tall skinny glass. I'd prefer a pint glass like normal bars serve. It was pretty cool looking out the window at the ski run up the side of the mountain.

Right in front of Snow King Mountain. You can see it through the window or at the patio. Place is spilt into two. There is a taproom and a restaurant. Menu change is seasonal, so better check their website before you head out. Food is ok. For the price the price they are charging I was expecting more portion and more flavor. Not that it is bad just didn't my expectations. Best thing I ate is the Bison sausage flatbread.

This place is attached to the Virginian Lodge complex which is a pretty cool place to stay overall. There's a little gift shop, a burger joint, the saloon, a pool, hot tub, all sorts of little amenities. So this saloon is one part of this whole lodge experience. Immediately, we liked the laid back ambiance with lots of sofas and comfie chairs to hang out with a small group of people. We sat at the bar. For us, the vibe and casual, kickback ambiance was a five star for what we were looking for (which was that). We ordered two appetizers which were maybe about average: the hatch pepper queso was not as good as the Pace queso from the jar that we had just had a week prior. The chicken tenders were typical bar tenders, nothing special. Basic fries. So the food was struggling to score a three star. The thing about the service was that it could have been much better but because of the early hour we seemed to be sort of the warm up customers. One bartender was in training so while he greeted us he was promptly dismissed by the main bartender who alternated between being the best and the worst bartender you might have. When you're two of three people at the bar and there's only five people in the whole place you might expect to get more conversation from the barkeep since we were out of towners and looking forward to hearing about the local scene. Nope. I guess you could say it was mainly our high expectation of having a friendly bartender but ended up feeling sort of like a bar seat. This was at a very low ebb in the season as well as the day so I can't imagine that the experience would improve with more people. As with all things, it's all about expectation. If you don't expect a great bartender, and don't expect great food you might come away pleased with the venue. But no dark on tap so don't expect that either.

Our server was polite, but we didn't get checked on very often, which made it difficult to ask for anything once our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. Everything we ordered was under-seasoned, and the portions were much smaller than we expected for the price. I ordered the mahi fish tacos, and they were honestly the worst fish tacos I've ever had. The fish tasted very fishy instead of fresh, and it looked like it had been boiled rather than grilled. There was no char or seasoning to speak of, and the overall flavor was really lacking. If you're considering the fish tacos, I'd skip them. Overall, it's a nice place to grab a beer and enjoy the atmosphere, but the food just didn't live up to the rest of the experience. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)

We mentioned this to the young hostess, who replied that she "had no control over that." We asked if she could at least inform a manager. Our waitress took our drink order in an impatient, distracted manner. She was looking around the room as I was speaking to her. When I began placing my order and requested my steak cooked medium, she rudely interrupted me by saying, "Just a minute," and walked away to speak to another server at the table next to us. She eventually returned to finish taking our orders. Our Caesar salads were good, although they were served warm instead of chilled. My 10-ounce sirloin, ordered medium, was decent but unremarkable. Unfortunately, my husband's and son-in-law's steaks, both also ordered medium, arrived extremely rare and were so undercooked they were difficult to cut. Their baked potatoes were hard and undercooked. My daughter and grandchildren ordered the ravioli, green beans, mushrooms, and macaroni and cheese, which were all bland and best described as merely adequate. My iced tea was never refilled, and our waitress was nowhere to be found throughout most of the meal. The room was so hot and noisy that my daughter and grandchildren eventually left the table because it was a very unpleasant atmosphere. As we were leaving, I stopped at the hostess stand and asked an older woman if she was the manager. She abruptly replied, "One of them." I quietly began explaining our experience so as not to create a scene. Instead of listening, she fixed me with a hostile stare and interrupted me by asking, "Did you tell your waitress about these issues so she could tell me?" I explained that our waitress never returned--not even to refill my tea--so we never had the opportunity to discuss our concerns with her. It was clear from the manager's attitude that the conversation wasn't going to be productive, so I simply told her my husband was still at the table and wanted to speak with her. Ironically, my daughter predicted the manager would treat the men in our party with more courtesy--and she was right. She listened to their concerns and removed one steak and a iced tea from the bill. Between the mediocre food, inattentive service, and unprofessional management, this was an extremely disappointing dining experience. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant
