Lived up to the reviews! I was skeptical, but everything was great. The pizza was perfectly fluffy yet crispy. But also not too filling! The service and ambiance was spectacular. Left feeling on top of the world! Will definitely be back the next time I'm back in Jackson Hole.
What a great place. Pizza was delicious. We were here on a tour and around lunch time we found this place. What a jewel of a find. I think it is the best pizza I have ever had. I look at my picture and say, that was one heck of a pizza. This pizza fed four of us and we were full. Service was great, and friendly. The inside was clean and interesting. It's an old movie house. If you want a great pizza, stop here!

Really cool space inside an old movie theater. We sat in the upper balcony where we could watch all the pizzas being made. Beautiful wood grain tables and chairs and a laid-back vibe. Cocktails were great and the pizza was outstanding- I love wood-fired pizza and this was nice and thin with a great chew. Toppings seemed really fresh. Our server was Vuka from Serbia - really friendly.
4.5 Stars--The bottom line: tasty hand thrown pizza, fast service, in a super cool quirky former theater. We were seated quickly, upstairs, and our server came over right away. The Caesar salad was fine (generic), but the beer was tasty and pizza was very good, especially after eating in Yellowstone for a few days. The price was also more reasonable, though high for a pie.
The service was good, the food came o it FAST even with a full house and the pizza was delicious! We got the bbq brisket and prosciutta brah. I also got the Caesar salad and it was delicious and well tossed. it did have spice to it that I wasn't expecting, but still good! Our waiter was kind and happy. The cooking was all open to the public and fun to watch them cook.
The service was awesome. Our waiter was from Mexico City and he was very attentive and great. The restaurant is in a wonderful old building. I was blown away by 2 wood fired ovens I've never seen more than 1 in a restaurant before. It was great. The food is spectacular. I was very impressed with the and the hummius too. We found this restaurant out of the blue since we only do small local places. Searched 4 apps and boom there it was. Highly impressed. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely visit them.
There was a wait for a table so we opted for the open seating at the bar. The bartender was helpful and friendly. We ordered the Extra Peppy Funghi (tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, mushroom, jalapeno) and Chew-BACA (ricotta spread, mozzarella, bacon, caramelized onions, arugula, spicy honey). I enjoyed both pizzas. I like the thin crust. The Chew-BACA was my favorite because I really liked the spicy honey flavor.
We stopped in here for lunch today. We ordered a salad and pizza to share. We chose the kale salad and the Chew Baca pizza. The kale salad included red onion, roasted squash, maple cayenne sunflower seed, with a cherry tarragon vinaigrette. The flavor combo was great, the kale was very fresh, and the dressing was delish. Our server recommended the pizza and it did not disappoint. Made of herbed ricotta cheese, bacon, caramelized onion, and fresh arugula with a spicy Slide Ridge honey drizzle. So good. We'll definitely be back. Their pizza ovens are at the back of the restaurant and it's fun to watch the chefs create the pizzas. It's a great atmosphere for families. There's a second floor which overlooks the downstairs.
It was a style of pizza crust that is not a favorite. Not much "chew", possibly because they are using a lower protein flour and an 00 grind. Or have a different philosophy for gluten development. My personal preference moves away from this flat, homogeneous crust to one where there is some chewiness and crunch. Thus. Acceptable but not my style. Toppings options are good. The salads were great! They use a spiralizer on the raw beets and I can't wait to start doing this when we get back home. A lovely, converted movie theater. So, worth at least one visit when here as a tourist. But if you are a serious pizza person, that pizza crust will make you sad.

Quite an operation to see them make so many pizzas in the wood fired oven. The only down side was the staff was all business, almost to the point of rude. Not unique to this place though as we felt it in all the places we went in to in Jackson Hole. Would have been nice to have them happy we decided to eat in their restaurant when we had so many choices.

Waiter was new but attentive, personable, and remembered every aspect of the order without writing it down. Always impressive. Cocktail and pizza of the day were right up our alley. Huckleberry martini was sooo good. Great local beers on tap. Kale salad was excellent! Lots of flavors and a good sized portion. Pizza was Yelplicious!!! Wood fired, cooked perfectly, with great mix of flavors. So, so, good. Dined and many places in town and this was one of the best.

We got the 16" chew-baca pizza for the 2 of us and had a few slices left over. We also ordered the Caesar salad and were able to split the portion between us and it was the perfect amount. The pizza was really good! I thought it sounded like the best pizza as well as looking at reviews of what others have said (thank you everyone!) We got seated upstairs and it seemed like there was only one person covering all the tables. He did a great job and was definitely running around. It wasn't too loud upstairs which was good because it was easy to talk. Unfortunately when we came for dinner, the city had a boil water advisory. We thought the restaurant would hand out bottled waters or maybe offer a different drink but they didn't. (We thought this because this has happened in another city and they gave us bottled waters). So if you wanted anything to drink then you would have to pay at least $4. read more

This place is so fun. Our plans got derailed a little bit by a storm that came into town, so we decided to stop here for some food since we were starving. We were seated right away, but it took a little while for someone to come to our table to get us drinks. My girls got root beer and I got a fun little Rendezvous Refresher mocktail they had--delish! The kitchen is open and we had a great view of them making the pizzas. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us in making our choices. My youngest got the sweet Italian pizza and devoured it. My oldest and I each got a Chew-BACA but she opted to not get the hot honey on hers. She and I probably could have shared instead of each getting our own, but we managed pretty well anyway. The pizza was amazing! This is a great little spot when in Jackson! read more

Great pizza spot in Jackson Hole! Very vibey atmosphere and spacious. Great pizza. The Chew-baca is the way to go. It has the perfect balance of salty, savory, subtly sweet with the honey, protein from the bacon and greens from arugula. The Truffle Shuffle was OK in comparison, though we devoured everything. Two large pizzas for 3 people, and we had leftovers! Also tried the Wind River Blond ale and both me and a German friend loved it a lot. Servers are out and about and casual. read more

I've been told by locals this is the best pizza in Jackson Hole. The server was super nice, it's a great indoor area, and the food came out quickly. So vibes are good, and if you're not getting vegan, than I think it's an easy 5/5. We got the gluten free "where the beef" from the vegan menu. Honestly, I thought it was pretty okay. I went here a couple years ago and enjoyed what we got more than but yeah idk I just thought it was pretty meh. I wish we had gotten a more exciting flavor. There were like no caramelized onions. read more

Decent pizza but ultimately fell a bit short in flavor. I like that it's wood fire pizza and the pizza part of the kitchen is out in the open so it's neat to watch them make the pizza fresh; however, I wish our pizza had more cheese and that the crust had more flavor. I would say this pizza is closest to neapolitan style, though the restaurant is trying to carve out its own name with "Wyoming style pizza". I admire the effort and maybe one day it'll happen! Service was fast and friendly - we also ordered the Organic Mixed Salad and it came out in literally less than a minute of placing the order! The honey mint vinaigrette was very good and unique. This seems to be a pretty popular place so I'd recommend calling ahead to put your name down. read more

Pizza is amazing and the cocktails are even better. The hazy IPA is delicious, and the Valencia martini is one of the best I've had--even compared to spots in Los Angeles. Happy hour is a no-brainer with $10 pizzas. Bar tender was super helpful with recommendations as well. read more

My husband and I visited this place while on vacation last summer. I loved being able to see the pizza ovens, such a fun touch. The Huckleberry Hound cocktail was a perfect balance of sweet and sour, absolutely delicious. We had the Chew-Baca pizza with arugula and ricotta, and it was so flavorful with a perfect crust. Located in downtown Jackson, you can find this restaurant in an old movie theater on North Cache Street. Located just off the main square. Upon entering the restaurant you are greeted with a ticket box, remanence of the old movie theater. Upon entering the main restaurant, it open up with its high ceilings. You are immediately greeted by the bar and then the dining room which has plenty of seats. This restaurant has been in town for at least 8 years serving freshly made pizzas. The restaurant has two gigantic pizza ovens open to the public for viewing. At dinnertime, we ordered the Squashed pizza- which consisted of squash, caramelized onions, mozzarella and goat cheese that was freshly hand tossed. The larger pizza, 16 inch, is plenty for two people with some pizza slices left over to go. The smaller pizza is only 12 inches which is enough for one person. We enjoyed the taste of the pizza- pizza was served with a good amount of toppings. Beyond pizza, the restaurant has starters, sides and salads. Salads include Kale salad and Caesar. As for starters there is Humus and Burrata. We did not try these items, so I cannot comments on taste and quality. To compliment or pizza, we had some beer and cider. The bar provides some local offerings. As for customer service- not the friendliness staff at the bar or at the pizza prep areas. As the bar is the first encounter when you walk in, you would think the staff would warmly greet you. And if a restaurant is trying to sell pizza, you would think that the pizza prep staff would be warm and talk up what they are preparing- especially when the restaurant is not too busy. read more
I went around 2pm for a late lunch after landing in Jackson. Food came surprisingly fast. We ordered the mixed salad, bison of a gun pizza and prosciutts brah pizza both in 16" for 4 people and was more than enough. The mixed salad was really really good, not sure what greens they used but it was awesome and the dressing with mint was yummy. For the pizzas, both were pretty good. Wish there was slightly more meat on the bison of a gun pizza and less cheese on the prosciutts brah but crust was really good. Would definitely recommend for a fast and easy bite. Service was also great. Had to check in about a lemonade but that's totally fine. read more

We stopped by hand fire pizza on our way into the Grand Tetons after we had been driving all day and it was perfect. Super casual and neat space - maybe it was an old theater or something. But they are making the pizza's right at the front of the restaurant where everyone can see. The service was also great! We got the Cesar salad which I forgot to take a photo of but it was a generic Cesar. Solid though. We also got a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 sweet sausage pizza and it was also really good! Really appreciated they were able to accommodate the half and half order for us! read more

Quaint place that was a recommendation from Tiktok. It did not disappoint. We waited a little bit to be seated but that gave us an opportunity to look around. The waitress/hostess was hustling as they were short staffed. Food was pretty good. We ordered the sweet italian sausage pie. read more
What a treat. Ordered pita and veggies, then 2 pizzas and watched it cooked in the wood oven. This spot is a JH must. Come and get it! We took a shuttle from our hotel, because parking is a challenge in the downtown area. This is a 5 star pizzzzzaaa stop. read more
