Yum! This place was great! Our server, Noah, was amazing and so kind (give him a raise!). Noah gave some great suggestions and told us about the huckleberry lemonade, which was delicious. I'm so glad I discovered Bubba's! This local gem is a must try. Every thing was so good and I can't wait to go back. I got the 12 count dry rub chicken wings, with Mac and cheese and fries as my side. My boyfriend got the half pound brisket with potato salad and fries as his. The dry rub chicken had a good amount of flavor, but it was the tiniest bit overcooked. The sides were honestly the stars of the plate. The Texas toast was buttery and so good. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the Mac and cheese were so creamy and full of flavor. The brisket was tender and not super greasy. However, the outer layer is extremely salty so I would double down on the sauce. The potato salad was good, but nothing crazy. I think the portion sizes are absolutely massive and you'll definitely leave with a full belly. The ambiance is pretty neat, but service wasn't the fastest, but food came out in less than 15 minutes. Real barbecue place. Fries were great, ribs were great, smoked sausage was incredible and the pulled pork was probably the best i've ever had. On top of that the BBQ sauce was excellent as well. WTH happened to Bubbas?? Have not been in for a while as we have so many good places we hit when in Jackson. After remodel the place looks like a generic Macdonalds! They took out the salad bar, which a lot if times was their saving grace. When we went in on 4/29 we asked about this and were tild it was due to covid. Wasn't that over already?? We told him we go to Bubbas in Cody and they are ok. He said, well Bubbas is Bubbas the same all over. He was not very nice in his manner. Well the customer is always right, so we told him we were leaving and would not be back. The BBQ place down the street must really be doing well with this generic new Bubbas. Look elsewhere folks. This review is for breakfast. There wasn't a wait to get in. Exterior is under renovation. We got the kids pancakes (comes with two pancakes and a side of sausage or bacon). The bacon was crispy. The sausage has the maple taste (not my favorite). Ordered the biscuit sandwich. Solid option. They melt the cheese inbetween the folded egg. Back in for a pit stop while in town and just as good as always. Forest service and good grub. Place has a face lift too... remodeled over the spring. It took 15 minutes for someone to come out to seat us, another 15 for the waiter to come acknowledge us and take our drink order. We went ahead and placed our food order at the same time because we knew that would take a bit to get taken otherwise. I ordered the loaded baked potato and received a cold potato with three tough, thin slices of brisket on top with two tiny wrapped things of butter and sour cream to the side. This was located right outside our hotel, so we made an effort to try it one time before we left. Glad we did! The food was delicious. The prices are great too. The appetizers we ordered were the fried pickles and brisket queso. I would order the brisket queso again. The pack that dish with so much brisket that you can really just eat that as a meal for yourself. The Bubba Pulled Pork is something I'll think about often. It was very good, and it filled me up. I shouldn't have finished it because I was so full, but I had to. I slept like a baby afterwards. The servers were very nice too. This is not real bbq. As an avid fan of BBQ, I like to try a new to me BBQ joint wherever I travel in the U.S. I like to ask what their "thing" is, try that and some of my favorites like Pulled Pork with dry rub, Smoked chicken, or Ribs. This place had a weird bitter and artificial smoke taste to the meats. I ordered their pulled pork with sauce on the side because I think slathering bbq meats in sauce is a half-cut move to cover not having a good dry rub or smoking process. Thankfully, I had sauce to dip it in because it had ZERO flavor to it.The chicken was cooked perfectly well, but again, the skin had no seasoning to it. The side salad was ok, kind of hard to mess up. The beans tasted like premade canned beans that they drown in bbq sauce. what a disappointment. service is standard, nothing to wowing, the restaurant is kind of big and cheesy, music was barely audible to me. but I guess many locals and other tourist like it.‍ read more

Best Brisket I've had! This place is under construction, but don't let that fool you. Once inside the dining area, you'll see there's plenty of room for dining in a nice setting. Personally not a fan of the ceilings, given the location though; a more log cabin look would be better. The service is great here. Everyone is nice, customer friendly, and service times, even at peak hours, aren't bad at all. Now let's get to the food. The brisket just melts in your mouth! Normally, one sandwich like this is enough for me, but I could have easily eaten 2, if it weren't for the price. That's the down side, the price. It is a little pricey for what you get, but so is a lot of stuff in Jackson Hole. Still, between the price and the construction, it's enough to knock it down to 4 stars for me. This is a lunch review. After being seated, things went a little south. Our server spoke way too fast, didn't seem to listen, and I had to correct our order twice. When I asked if he got my drink order (a mule) he said, yes. (hold that thought... the server said he got my order) My husband asked about the beers - our server said, "I don't know I don't drink". Okay but you work here and you should know what the selection actually is. Is it a dark beer? A lager? Pale Ale? When the name of the beer doesn't fully explain the beer it's standard for servers to know more about the beer so they can guide the customer. Our drinks arrived - mine looked weird. I tasted it and couldn't figure out what it was. I didn't care for it. I drank about a quarter of it, and felt very ill. So I decided whatever it was, I wasn't going to drink it. The fries were cold, my Caesar Salad was wilted and the menu says it has homemade croutons, when in reality it had one triangle of stale unseasoned white bread. The burger was tasteless. The wings were just average.
