2 overcooked pancakes
Shawn V.

We went for breakfast and the service was AMAZING! I ordered FRench Toast Banana Bread since I have never seen that before. That was pretty darn good. However, my wife ordered pancakes and they were horrible. They were WAY overcooked and falling apart (trainwreck) and at $16 for 2 that will make a grown man cry lol. The place is super clean inside and the whole staff were so nice/friendly.

Back in for a pit stop while in town and just as good as always. Forest service and good grub. Place has a face lift too... remodeled over the spring. More booths and redo of the bar (stationary swivel chairs a bit uncomfy). My biscuit sandwich is now $18, which is up a few bucks. Still good with that amazing biscuit supporting all the goods inside.

This was located right outside our hotel, so we made an effort to try it one time before we left. Glad we did! The food was delicious. The prices are great too. The appetizers we ordered were the fried pickles and brisket queso. I would order the brisket queso again. The pack that dish with so much brisket that you can really just eat that as a meal for yourself. The Bubba Pulled Pork is something I'll think about often. It was very good, and it filled me up. I shouldn't have finished it because I was so full, but I had to. I slept like a baby afterwards. The servers were very nice too. The food came out very quickly, so you won't have to wait too long once you sit down.

This gonna be short & sweet... Vegetarian review: - grilled cheese: get this on Texas toast! Cheese was melty, and bread was buttery. - onion rings: great! Batter was crispy, and the onion stayed in the batter when you bite into it. Service: very nice. Accommodating. Parking: easy

Driven by 100's of times and never stopped in. I'm leaving the area for work and thought I'd try it out, see what I might be missing. Great spot, food was great, reasonably priced. I'd recommend.

Surprised to have such good bbq in the middle of nowhere. The ribs were really good, the sides and fries weren't the best I'd ever had but still good. The ambiance is what you'd expect from this place but the waitress we had was super sweet. 7/10

The pulled pork here is amazing! The sauce is really great, and it tastes even better when paired with the Texas toast.

Grabbed takeout from Bubba's. Pulled pork and baked beans are fabulous and will not disappoint. Don't miss it!

Started with the onion rings which were good, their special dipping sauce was a nice addition. I got the pulled pork sandwich on garlic toast and fries, the hubby got pulled pork on a bun with baked beans. Both were pretty good, pork has great flavor. Nice place if you are looking for something low key and causal. The service was great and the waiter was super friendly!

Great breakfast tacos! Mimosas served in a jelly jar! The eggs Benedict also good. Mexican scramble was good also. We thoroughly enjoyed!

Cheddar scallion biscuit - wow, this one is delicious and such a buttery savory choice! Croissant - buttery and flaky. Space was limited so we elected to grab and go. A glass case displaying the baked good let you know that the selection of treats is vast. A blueberry and carrot cake type muffins were ordered from a middle age lady with a snippet attitude. Customer service is not one of her strong suits. The large muffins were packed with flavor and not over-sweet. The base of BOTH muffins were over-cooked, dry and stuck to the bottom wrapper. Persephone Bakery makes a large variety of good tasting baked goods. The dry and overcooked base sometimes happens. It was just a lack of attention at a vital step during the process. I hope you give Persephone Bakery a chance as they do know know about tasty treats. Perhaps the lady at the counter can find a job that better suits her snotty attitude.

Absolutely horrendous service paired with below average food…read more I walked in and ordered two burritos a veggie burrito for me and a meat burrito for my boyfriend. I also ordered a matcha latte. There was no warning that their matcha is already heavily pre sweetened, so I asked for lavender syrup and oat milk. When we finally received our drinks and I took a sip on my way out, it was genuinely one of the worst matcha drinks I've ever had. It tasted like straight sugar water with an overwhelming amount of lavender. Completely undrinkable. I immediately went back inside to see if it could be fixed since I was not going to drink it. I waited politely while the barista finished what she was doing. She looked up at me with visible confusion, so I explained that I didn't realize the matcha was pre sweetened and that adding lavender made it far too sweet. She did not say a single word. Instead, she gave me a judgmental look, smirked, and glanced around as if looking for a reaction from others. Without acknowledging me, she started remaking the drink very quickly and sloppily, clearly annoyed. When she reached for whole milk, I reminded her I had asked for oat milk, which was met with another look of irritation. She finished the drink, slammed it on the counter without a word, and continued to glare. I still said thank you and left. Once we got to the car and opened our burritos, we realized both the meat and veggie burritos were wrapped identically with no markings. My boyfriend had to bite into both to figure out which was which. The veggie burrito I received was extremely mushy and unappetizing, and I lost my appetite immediately. Between the rude, dismissive service and the poorly executed food, this place was a complete disappointment. I will not be returning.

Meal prices are about what you would expect for Jackson... overpriced for eggs and pastries. People rave about the "pig candy" which is 4 pieces of candied bacon they give you for $16. It was good and crisp, but so sugared that you honestly can't really taste the bacon part of it. I got the egg platter with sausage. The bread and sausage were great. Really nice quality. My daughter got Eggs Benedict which she also liked. They keep your coffee full. There is also a bar to eat at if you are solo and are looking for that option.

A bowl of fruit was ordered with fresh blueberries and ripe strawberries. Again, a generous amount. Cafe Genevieve has a staff that hustles. The food is done well and the portion sizes are large. Dressed up and on reservation, we arrived a tad early and were promptly greeted. Maybe hospitality isn't Wyoming's forte, but all of the staff did not seem happy to see nor serve us from the beginning. The booking site only offered high top tables, so that's what I selected. When the hostess asked if we'd like to switch to a table, she was sternly corrected in front of us that it "wouldn't be possible" by another staff member. The interaction felt unprofessional in front of guests, and as if they weren't willing to accommodate us. On top of that fiasco came plenty of glares and stares from staff throughout our visit. Crawfish & Dumpling - 9/10 For the table. Pungent; a few bites satisfy. I've never had crawfish in this setting. Perfect gnocchi. Delicious all around. Oyster Shooter - 8/10 Fairly priced, fresh. Nice bloody mary. Rabbit Ravioli - 6.5/10 Stingy portion of meat. Ravioli is just okay. The fried carrot nest was fun but it was too much for the serving. It's a carrot salad with a bite of meat and maybe 5 ravioli. Bar Steak - One came overcooked and one under. Sides were mediocre. Uninteresting mashed potatoes. Our waitress tried to take our order almost immediately after being seated. She visited few times after ordering. With a 5:30 reservation, we left by 5:57 thanks to the small portions and staff seeming to rush us out. In a tourist destination, I would imagine better hospitality and warmth from local workers. Not many smiles here. I typically tip well, but they didn't seem to want us there and the experience really dampened my entire party's mood.
