This place was just okay for me. To get ahead of the game for anyone not looking to waste time, I would skip this spot. There are too many other options to settle for mediocre. Overall the dishes were bland or so many flavor profiles you weren't sure which one you were going to get. I ordered a bibimap and the chicken was dry and poorly shredded/chunked breasts. Everyone overall was mostly pleased with a hot meal (we just came out of a 10 day backcountry trip) but it wasn't anything worth writing home about. Service was moderately paced. Food came quick once our orders were taken (week day dinner hour). Matcha boba is a presweetened matcha mix - good for what it is I suppose. It was a nice treat. We ate here twice during our trip to Grand Teton/Yellowstone in the winter. We had bibimpap, sundubu, jjampong, manduguk, and some kimpap for kids. For being in a town in the middle of the mountains in the middle of nowhere basically it is an ok Korean restaurant and I think possibly the only Korean restaurant. I do appreciate they were open during the winter their lower season. The food I think is probably the best they can do with lack of food ingredients/resources/costs of being in the mountains. The sundubu is not entirely authentic. For example they use a different type of chili not the Korean chili. Also the tofu is not the sun tofu more like the firmer tofu from Costco. Not very much seafood in the seafood sundubu. The bulgogi meat in the bibimpap was a little strange- I don't know if it's the quality of meat or cut but more like ground beef. In any event though, if you want something different it is totally fine and hot food with veggies etc not fast food. read more

This is your standard, no frills Korean food that you can get at any major city, for less but you're getting it at Jackson Hole. Ordered the tofu soup and it came with little pickled veggie side dishes and a cup of wild rice. The pickled side dishes tasted better than the soup, which I found to be a bit bland. The soup included tofu, two shrimp, two clams, two mussels and an egg and a whole bunch of onions. For that it was 27 + tax and tip. So glad to have found this spot in Jackson! It's one of those places where everything at surrounding tables looks and smells delicious! We got some wings (perfectly saucy and crisp) and the Korean BBQ (beef bulgogi and spicy pork), and loved it all. It's a lot of food, with all the Korean sides, rice, salad, and a big pile of meat- and great variety. Our server was so attentive from start to finish, and made a point of quickly consolidating plates so our table had more room. What. A. Gem. We absolutely loved our experience at Bapp. HUGE serving sizes, awesome service and delicious Korean fare. We started with the appetizer chicken wings, which were a mouthwatering example of what was to come for our main course. The food comes out fresh and HOT, HOT, HOT so be warned! The BBQ Spicy Pork was so delicious and extra exciting with all of the fun toppings that come along with it. I especially enjoyed the kimchi and pickled radishes. My husband ordered the Bibimbap in the traditional stone bowl. He really enjoyed it, so much so that he couldn't wait for it to cool down before diving in and doing the "hashafashasha" all the way through the meal! It was refreshing to have some a change in cuisine after being on the road for a bit. It was busy but the service was efficient and good. I got sundubu (tofu stew soup) and sub with pork and bibimbap with beef bulgogi. The portions are generous and were delicious. I also got the honey citron tea. The price is abit steep but this is the Jackson so make sense for the pricing. The banchan (side dishes) that came with the stew was delicious but maybe a bit salty for the broccoli and cucumber. A great Korean find in Jackson. Two of us got bibimbap in a huge bowl stuffed with veggies and rice. I think my bowl must have had a full avocado included. Ordered take out here while on a road trip from California. My friend overexerted himself on a hike and wanted soup. He chose the seafood soup (in Wyoming? Mussels? Shrimp? A bit far from the ocean I say!). I had some of the spicy pork, wings, and bulgogi. The soup was DELICIOUS and we experienced no negative digestive events despite our distance from the nearest ocean. The wings were better than any Korean flavored wings I've had from Korean restaurants in SoCal. Wasn't super impressed with the spicy pork and bulgogi, but they weren't terrible and the portion sizes were generous. My main complaint here was the 20% service surcharge on take out orders over $100. Almost canceled and called back to order two separately, as this was arbitrary and excessive. I understand that it's not the biggest operation, but I struggle to see any reasonable explanation for this and would not go back to essentially pay an excess that could cover another persons meal. Everyone in our party of 5 got some version of an udon noodle bowl and everyone was deliriously happy with their choice! The tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. Bapp is an adorable hidden gem in Jackson Hole. We were wanting to grab dinner at another spot but since the wait was long, we decided to try this place out. We were seated immediately and the wait staff were so friendly. I enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was smaller so it was not as crazy busy as the other tourist spots in town I tried their kimchi rice balls and they were fantastic. They did have a kick to it but it wasn't burn your mouth hot. The prices were also fairly reasonable. I highly recommend Bapp if you want to try something new and avoid the crowds. read more

I do not remember the sauce by it was delicious and it was gone in no time. Next we ordered the Galbi (short ribs) and Soft tofu stew. The Galbi was sweet and not too salty. Overall, it had a lot of meat and quite tasty. I highly recommend ordering it. The soft tofu was huge portion and good for sharing. It has big shrimps and other seafood. It has a kick and little salty but was a great pairing with the Galbi. They also serve some sides (kimchi, etc) . Restaurant is casual and clean. Lots of windows all around so was bright. It is a bit pricier compared to bigger cities but on par with food prices in Jackson. Pleasantly surprised to find good Asian food and will be back again when I'm in the area. read more

One of our favorite restaurants in Jackson! We got the seafood Sundubu Jjigae, miso soup, Kimbap and Mandu Guk. The food was hot and full of umami. The banchan that came along with the Sundubu Jjigae included broccolini, radish, kimchi and pickled cucumbers.
