We weren't sure whether to get the cup or bowl, and the waiter said he thought the cup would be enough, but he offered to bring more chili for free if needed, and he was good on his word! We collectively enjoyed the house burger. It was flavorful, sweet and well balanced. The bison burger could have used more kick. I understand bison is a tough meat to work with in general, but I was expecting more from a restaurant that works (I assume) with bison regularly. It was nothing spectacular. The disappointment was the chef's special dish for that night which was their version of a salmon dish served on top of green beans and quinoa. The salmon was dry. Whoever cooked it either overcooked the fish or used frozen fish. Both situations are disappointing for a nice restaurant that wants us to pay nearly $40 such a dish. Despite the subpar meal, the mocktails were the saving grace of our experience which is why I'm ending this review with 4 stars.
