Visited on short notice and had one of the more amazing dinners I've ever had. Didn't think to make reservations, but they had room for us after about 20 minutes. I should add it was just two people. Hostess was incredibly friendly and patient as were the chefs. It's a very cozy spot, and the food is incredible. I live in Seattle and I've had some really wonderful sushi, but this was some of the best--and most creative--sushi that I've ever had. Is it cheap? No. You're eating sushi in Wyoming! But it is wonderful and I'd absolutely come here again when in Jackson.

Sushi in Jackson... I know right? Showed up on the early side and got a seat at the bar. Staff was beyond friendly and super accommodating. Their happy hour menus is amazing prices for such high quality. Everything was fresh and great flavor combos. Will be back for another meal!

A charming dining experience in downtown Jackson! Housed in a quaint and historic log cabin, the ambiance of this place is unbelievable. Reservations are a must due to limited seating and it's popularity among locals and travelers. We tried two specialty rolls, the Crouching Tiger and the Toro, both of which were fresh and packed with flavor. Very high quality sushi. Also a good selection of beer, wine, cocktails and sake for pairing. Hands-down my favorite dining experience in Jackson. Highly recommend!

All the amazing rolls I mentioned.

What an amazing experience and a joy for my taste buds! A small but quaint place with some of the most incredible sushi! Of course I had the crouching tiger and also tried the tempura lobster and the Theo too! Appetizer was a special- Toro. The entire evening was excellent and I highly recommend this dining experience of you love sushi. The tempura fried cheese cake was incredible. Reserve your table today!

A lot has been said about this place already. The food was great. All the fish we ate was fresh. Very surprised to see 2 white guys working as chefs. With some help from a white girl. They were amazing. The food presentations were great and very unique. Very tasty. The service was very good. Our waitress was very pleasant and fast. The ambiance is cool also. Cabin style. Very small place, not a good spot for parties of 10 plus. I will definitely be coming back and I strongly recommend this sushi restaurant.

Came here for happy hour/dinner and had a decent experience! We ordered a cocktail (St. Germain Spritz), a hot sake, multiple hand rolls, the sake king sashimi, hamachi roll, crispy rice, and a few others. Normally I like to confirm all items that I've ordered but unfortunately their menu is not on their website and I didn't take a photo of the menu so I'm guessing at this point. The staff was very nice but the place is kind of cramped up in a small venue. Make sure to make reservations because it does get slam packed with people (at least during the winter). Out of everything we ordered our favorite fish was the salmon - it was fantastic! I'd mostly recommend the sake king sashimi, the salmon avocado roll, & the hamachi roll. I'd also recommend coming in during happy hour which I believe is from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. All in all, great & fresh sushi for a decent price, in a beautiful area!

Hidden dragon roll!!!

Knockout roll - everyone must try the Hidden Dragon roll here!! The slight char on the scallop created a savory, smoky, sweet fishy mouthful - I could go back and eat 2 more! Great oyster shooters and nigiri. Intimate ambiance. Hope they expand to add more tables!

Meal prices are about what you would expect for Jackson... overpriced for eggs and pastries. People rave about the "pig candy" which is 4 pieces of candied bacon they give you for $16. It was good and crisp, but so sugared that you honestly can't really taste the bacon part of it. I got the egg platter with sausage. The bread and sausage were great. Really nice quality. My daughter got Eggs Benedict which she also liked. They keep your coffee full. There is also a bar to eat at if you are solo and are looking for that option.

Cafe Genevieve does them very well. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was rich and flavorful with a plentiful amounts of sausage. The eggs done over medium were also good. A bowl of fruit was ordered with fresh blueberries and ripe strawberries. Again, a generous amount. Cafe Genevieve has a staff that hustles. The food is done well and the portion sizes are large. The costs are a bit high with an average spend of $25 to $35 pp not including a morning cocktail for a basic breakfast. If you are hungry, stop by Cafe Genevieve for a solid breakfast.

The…read moreburgers our party had ordered had some sort of Jam on them, which caused the buns to easily fall apart mid-bite. Normally this is a non-issue after half the burger is consumed, but after the first bite is excessive. A lighter layering of the Jam would do wonders for the longevity of the eating experience. The cheesesteaks were glorious! The bread was definitely the best I could ever recount in my life, which made the actual fillings just that much better. On top of that, with the amount of fries, having a spicy sriracha Ketchup would have been great. As it is a Pub and eatery, The alcohol was great! The in-house brews are nothing to pass over and should be tried when coming. (The Hey-Zeus is a stellar Mexican brew) The atmosphere is fairly loud, which is nice but having that paired with the service, which is a little quiet to hear in the establishment, Makes it hard to understand what the staff is saying. They're very polite and low-key, which is nice for wanting to talk with the company you came with, rather than stressing about the staff hounding you about refills or how good the food is. I cannot recommend enough, and once the minor issues have been buffed out, Deserves a 5/5 star rating

They have a deep and eclectic menu that includes Laab Gi Lettuce Wraps, Ahi Tuna Poke , Elk & Pork Spring Rolls, a Bison Burger, and BBQ. We split an order of the Venison Tostadas ($21) with Roasted Onions and Peppers, Chimichurri, Tajin Crema, Queso Fresco, Cilantro, and Toasted Sunflower Seeds. The order included three tacos loaded with tasty meat. Word of warning- that Chimichurri sauce is pretty potent. We also split a Bison Burger with fries ($27) with Bourbon Bacon Jam, Arugula, Fried Onions, and Cheddar. The burger was great -big and easily splitable and delicious. The fries were excellent and came in a jumbo portion. The only disappointing feature of our lunch was a whopping $5 charge for a soft drink. Yes, it was refillable, but that's quite a bit of dough for a Diet Pepsi, don't you think?

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)
