Visited on short notice and had one of the more amazing dinners I've ever had. Didn't think to make reservations, but they had room for us after about 20 minutes. I should add it was just two people. Hostess was incredibly friendly and patient as were the chefs. It's a very cozy spot, and the food is incredible. I live in Seattle and I've had some really wonderful sushi, but this was some of the best--and most creative--sushi that I've ever had. Is it cheap? No. You're eating sushi in Wyoming! But it is wonderful and I'd absolutely come here again when in Jackson.

Sushi in Jackson... I know right? Showed up on the early side and got a seat at the bar. Staff was beyond friendly and super accommodating. Their happy hour menus is amazing prices for such high quality. Everything was fresh and great flavor combos. Will be back for another meal!

A charming dining experience in downtown Jackson! Housed in a quaint and historic log cabin, the ambiance of this place is unbelievable. Reservations are a must due to limited seating and it's popularity among locals and travelers. We tried two specialty rolls, the Crouching Tiger and the Toro, both of which were fresh and packed with flavor. Very high quality sushi. Also a good selection of beer, wine, cocktails and sake for pairing. Hands-down my favorite dining experience in Jackson. Highly recommend!

All the amazing rolls I mentioned.

What an amazing experience and a joy for my taste buds! A small but quaint place with some of the most incredible sushi! Of course I had the crouching tiger and also tried the tempura lobster and the Theo too! Appetizer was a special- Toro. The entire evening was excellent and I highly recommend this dining experience of you love sushi. The tempura fried cheese cake was incredible. Reserve your table today!

Came here for happy hour/dinner and had a decent experience! We ordered a cocktail (St. Germain Spritz), a hot sake, multiple hand rolls, the sake king sashimi, hamachi roll, crispy rice, and a few others. Normally I like to confirm all items that I've ordered but unfortunately their menu is not on their website and I didn't take a photo of the menu so I'm guessing at this point. The staff was very nice but the place is kind of cramped up in a small venue. Make sure to make reservations because it does get slam packed with people (at least during the winter). Out of everything we ordered our favorite fish was the salmon - it was fantastic! I'd mostly recommend the sake king sashimi, the salmon avocado roll, & the hamachi roll. I'd also recommend coming in during happy hour which I believe is from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. All in all, great & fresh sushi for a decent price, in a beautiful area!

Knockout roll - everyone must try the Hidden Dragon roll here!! The slight char on the scallop created a savory, smoky, sweet fishy mouthful - I could go back and eat 2 more! Great oyster shooters and nigiri. Intimate ambiance. Hope they expand to add more tables!

The service was great and pir waitress was kind. Although the noodles looked good, I wasn't sure I had a big enough appetite so I thought I would start with the Papaya Salad, amd if still hungry get noodles after. The Papaya Salad was huge! The spice was good, but the papaya was definitely not fresh. Everything in the salad was hard & raw amd slightly pickled. I ended up ordering a side of chicken to get some protein, which was a decent portion, but definitely boiled chicken. The BKK Noodles my husband ordered was a good portion but there were so few pieces of chicken they were gone in the first few bites. In addition the flavor was bland. It had the start of good flavor, but fell flat. In addition to the "fine" food, $30 for the noodles was insane! We have amazing thai at home all the time and it's nowhere near $30 for authentic & delicious noodles. We didn't try the other thai place in town, but if you're looking for good thai I think I would try someplace else.

I had heard of happy hour options, but when we looked at the menu, it seemed like that wasn't an option anymore. The food was delicious. I will say, similar to many places downtown, it was expensive. The dumplings were 15$ and came with four. I'd pass on these in the future. I also ordered and shared the BKK street noodles (22$ with no protein) and Mongolian beef (27$). I've seen other reviews that say the street noodles taste poorly, but that wasn't my experience. The noodles were not saucy via the "pad thai sauce", but the flavor was there and seemed somewhat authentic. The Mongolian beef though...was soooo good. That was definitely my favorite of the night, and I mixed it with some of the noodles for a yummy bite. The one negative was the service. Our waiter was not friendly and never came back. Though that was frustrating, I'd come back and try more if we're in the area again.

Cafe Genevieve does them very well. The biscuits were light and fluffy. The gravy was rich and flavorful with a plentiful amounts of sausage. The eggs done over medium were also good. A bowl of fruit was ordered with fresh blueberries and ripe strawberries. Again, a generous amount. Cafe Genevieve has a staff that hustles. The food is done well and the portion sizes are large. The Kitchen's menu pairs most dishes with cold pickled things, so if you don't like pickling, there's not a lot of choice. Nothing that I saw came with a steamed or sautéed vegetable, potatoes or rice. I sampled my husband's polenta and it was tasteless. We were very surprised to find the line already went out the door! The line moved fast and boy you better be ready to order when you step up, because it is a fast moving, no messing around system. In addition there were at least three employees taking orders at the counter so the pastry case is extremely crowded and it's difficult to view what the options are. The employees weren't un-kind, but they there were no niceties like "good morning". They wanted to move you through the line quickly, so we didn't feel we could really peruse the pastries and so we skipped it and we just ordered a hot coffee and a large hot almond milk latte. People were already more than crowded inside waiting for their items so we stepped onto the patio. It was a chilly morning so the small fire pit was welcomed. For the giant crowd waiting we received our drinks within a reasonable time frame. They call names from inside behind the counter, so if you are not within 4 feet of the counter you will not hear them. We sat on the patio near the garden and the view was beautiful. My "large" latte was the same small size of my husband's drip coffee and both appeared to be around 12-14oz. Disappointing. The drip coffee was okay, but not worth returning for and my almond milk latte was also just okay. We maybe would have given Persephone another try, but in the end we chose to try the many other coffee/bakery shops in downtown. I'm not saying 'stay away', I'm just saying it's not as amazing as the hype. Other tips -look at the menu BEFORE you get in line, especially if it is buys -if you happen to snag an indoor seat realize there will be little to no privacy as the line will form right next to your table. -the birds outside are cute, friendly and will absolutely eat your food if you leave it unattended for even a moment - we saw a pack of small birds try to fly off with an entire egg croissant sandwich in the 1min the owner stepped inside for napkins. *don't worry, we stopped them

The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

We didn't try a sushi roll unfortunately, but it's just bc we had ordered so much already! We tried the beet salad, the ribs (delicious but a bit spicy), the tempura veggies which were SO good and fresh and crispy and only lightly breaded, the broccolini, edamame and the dumplings. So we really had almost everything we could except sushi. All was great and my husband, who is a big fan of pork dumplings, loved these a lot. He raved about them all the rest of the night. For dessert - I was torn between a few things but went with the standard homemade chocolate cheesecake and it was delicious. The crust was a sort of coconut deliciousness that I especially loved. Service was great and the inside is small, but very classy. Highly recommend if you are a sushi fan. Believe the owner is from Hawaii so there is a Hawaiian influence to the food.

The food @ Sundachi was excellent! Great Variety, balanced flavors and dishes cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the Broccolini, Cucumber salad, Steamed chicken buns, Miso Cod and Waimea Sushi Roll ! Enjoy the great food and let the less than stellar vibe take a back seat !
