So good! and so easy! Have the Volcano or the Bermuda bowl. You can also get all the cool Japanese drinks and snacks here. So worth it. A hidden treasure.

Volcano - Large - don't get a large, it's the same size as a small, almost seems smaller

Tiny space, but big flavors, and quality fish. Let me start out with a word of advice. Don't get a large poke bowl, it's the same size as the regular! That was my only disappointment, it actually made me laugh that they are charging more for the same amount of fish and toppings. Check out my photos. The bowls are delicious, and flavorful. I love the different options, and I love that they do half rice, half salad. They are expensive, but what isn't these days. The bowls we got were the traditional poke bowl with Salomon and tuna, so great, we really loved this bowl. The Links poke bowl was delicious, probably our favorite. And the Volcano, this was good, but this was the bowl that was supposed to be a large, but the same size at the regular. We also tried the pot stickers, just okay, and the bbq steamed buns, loved them, they were great!

After spending a week in the Yellowstone and Jackson area, we were definitely wanting a change from standard BBQ/American cuisine. Gave this sushi spot a try and was surprised at the quality of the food! Their rolls were great and melted in your mouth and the Beef Donburi was one of the best I've had. Great place for Japanese food in Jackson. The restaurant was cozy and resembled a traditional Japanese setting and the service was great and friendly!

Delicious and very cute hidden gem in Jackson. I was delightfully surprised at the freshness of the sushi all the way in Wyoming. It was much welcomed after a week of eating burgers/sandwiches/chicken/bar food. The space is lovely, the service is quick, and the owner was wonderful to talk to.

Tiger Roll, Koi Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll

I, a girl who hates most sushi and only likes ONE particular roll back in Austin, LOVED the tiger roll. It was delicious and well-recommended by the kind girl at checkout. My boyfriend, a sushi snob, also loved his Koi roll and spicy salmon roll. Thanks, chef!

I don't understand how this place got such a high score.. fake family recommendation probably. The worst sushi I ever had. So small, unprofessional and ridiculously expensive. Just stay away!

The bar seating was available and allowed us to watch the kitchen staff hustling. Once seated, we waited for Beste to take our order, about 10 minutes. She was MIA most of the evening. Our evening started with the braised beef bao bun with carrot, kimchi, sesame seeds, kimchi aioli, and pickled onions. The flavor was good but it was grossly over-sauced and extremely messy. The bao bun was delivered broken in half. The lemongrass flavored pork dumplings were accompanied with onions, radishes and fermented black bean chili crisp. The dumplings were boiled and had no crispness from being pan seared which left a doughy taste. Our favorite was the Caeser salad with gem lettuce, tahini Caesar, aged parm and nori dusted rice crisp. A truly crisp bite with little taste crunches from the nori and tasty tahini Caesar. Homerun! Our final dish was the shrimp toast with kimchi aioli, pickled jalapeno, toasted sesame seeds on a milk bread slice. There was no shrimp taste and was told it was a "thin" shrimp mousse spread covered by other ingredients. I would bet there is less than a teaspoon of mousse on 4 pieces of toast. I have several issues with tonight's dining experience. A waitress, Beste was MIA, left empty plates piled up with limited room at the bar, did not change out plates coated with kimchi sauce between services, and a short attitude when we asked about "where is the shrimp". I hope the restaurant can correct these issues or find help that truly cares. Hospitality means pay attention and "Anticipate" the patrons need prior to them realizing it. This also falls on management who needs to guide and set a culture that employees can emulate. SHOW THEM THE LIGHT!

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)

Dressed up and on reservation, we arrived a tad early and were promptly greeted. Maybe hospitality isn't Wyoming's forte, but all of the staff did not seem happy to see nor serve us from the beginning. The booking site only offered high top tables, so that's what I selected. When the hostess asked if we'd like to switch to a table, she was sternly corrected in front of us that it "wouldn't be possible" by another staff member. The interaction felt unprofessional in front of guests, and as if they weren't willing to accommodate us. On top of that fiasco came plenty of glares and stares from staff throughout our visit. Crawfish & Dumpling - 9/10 For the table. Pungent; a few bites satisfy. I've never had crawfish in this setting. Perfect gnocchi. Delicious all around. Oyster Shooter - 8/10 Fairly priced, fresh. Nice bloody mary. Rabbit Ravioli - 6.5/10 Stingy portion of meat. Ravioli is just okay. The fried carrot nest was fun but it was too much for the serving. It's a carrot salad with a bite of meat and maybe 5 ravioli. Bar Steak - One came overcooked and one under. Sides were mediocre. Uninteresting mashed potatoes. Our waitress tried to take our order almost immediately after being seated. She visited few times after ordering. With a 5:30 reservation, we left by 5:57 thanks to the small portions and staff seeming to rush us out. In a tourist destination, I would imagine better hospitality and warmth from local workers. Not many smiles here. I typically tip well, but they didn't seem to want us there and the experience really dampened my entire party's mood.

Cardboard bags without handles are .20 cents/each and the reusable bags are $1.99/a piece. I just decided to get the reusable bags so I can use them again at Aldi's in the future. The reusable bags look small, but are very spacious without feeling heavy if you overload it. The handles are very sturdy too. I must mention the prices are fairly reasonable than Kroger's especially in the produce section. The crackers were pricey compared to Texas prices. I'm just glad the vegetables were cheaper.
