This was my first night in Jackson. We managed to snag a reservation at The Kitchen. First, any place that takes OpenTable reservations already scores points in my book. I don't remember our servers name but he was great! We took him up on his recommendations and they were all fantastic. We sat on the patio and enjoyed amazing drinks, food and people watching.

We had the a wonderful meal at The Kitchen. We got a reservation a day or two before for an early dinner. Perks of an early dinner is the happy hour was still going on for some of our drinks and appetizers. Everyone at the table loved their entrees and the plates were clean by the end. Portion sizes were respectable but not huge. If you come with a large appetite after skiing I would recommend getting an appetizer or two and prepare for dessert at the end. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and the staff was friendly. I will be returning on my next trip to Jackson.

What an absolutely amazing experience at The Kitchen! Everything from the moment we walked in was top-notch; the hostess was super sweet and took us to our table immediately. The restaurant is SO beautiful and truly a wow moment when you walk in. We greeted by our waitress Bestie and what a rockstar she was! We were informed that it was Happy Hour so we took advantage of the drink & food specials and we are so glad we did. Easily one of the best margaritas I've ever had!! The Tuna Crudo was so delicious, fresh, and fantastic. We decided to split the Cucumber Salad and the kitchen split the plates which was much appreciated - It was also fresh and amazing. We decided to also split the Miso Black Cod and the portion was HUGE! For the price, especially in Jackson, the portions were more than generous and for the quality of food... An amazing deal! We finished the night with a Chocolate Chip Cookie Skillet (not pictured because let's be real, it was gone in 60 seconds haha)! Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough to visitors or locals to Jackson. 10/10 across the board!! Thank you Bestie and The Kitchen for a fabulous experience!

Very good. Spontaneous meal, with seating at the counter for two. I tried the duck, which was well done - if a little salty and rich. The sauce was pretty spicy too, certain Thai flavors. My mother went for the salmon, which I found to be uninteresting. But that wasn't my choice, after all. People sat next to us had the pork chop and steak, which looked quite good. Maybe next time... We got there during happy hour but neither of us ordered drinks. We lucked into the 2 for $2 deal, which makes the value worthwhile.

We were 0 for 2 trying to find a place to eat dinner when we were directed here by a local. And what a wonderful recommendation it was. This place was HOPPIN'. I honestly thought we weren't gonna get in. But thankfully there was room in the outdoor seating area, which was quite nice. The weather was perfect. We didn't get to see inside the restaurant, but we still enjoyed our dinner nonetheless. Our service was fast and friendly, and we got great recommendations from our server. And that's all great, but we went there for the food. And the food was outstanding. The drinky drinks were stiff and smooth, and the food... Oh my goodness! The food was amazing. We started with the tempura scromp-scromps (shrimp) appetizer. It was incredible. A perfect crisp and a little spice from the spicy aioli, with a little cabbage to cut the heat. For our main course, my wife enjoyed the wild mushroom ramen, and I had their roasted pork shank. Both were excellent. When she tapped out, I threw some of my remaking pork shank into the ramen to finish it off. Chef's kiss. And then for dessert, our server cleverly enticed us with a dessert menu full of items I desperately wanted to try. Sadly, I was already stuffed, so I agreed to split one item with my wife. And by split, I mean, I think she took one or two bites and I finished the rest because she also was stuffed. I don't usually overheat to the point where I'm completely stuffed, but I did not want to stop eating at The Kitchen. Everything was so incredibly good, I just couldn't leave anything behind. Admittedly, I was hurting a little bit after dinner from overindulgence, but it was the end of the night so we simply walked back to our hotel and relaxed. THAT was an outstanding meal.

Pork chops were delicious. Everything on the plate paired so well together. The salmon crudo was very flavorful. There were some parts that were a bit too salty. I was expecting raw salmon, but I think they used smoked salmon. Either way, it was delicious. The beef tartare didn't taste like anything to me. It was really disappointing.

    Best tofu dish ever!

The tofu dish was the absolute best tofu dish I've ever eaten anywhere! The flavor was incredible! Some kimchi would've been a nice addition. Loved the cilantro Microgreens! The tempura shrimp was good. The steak was just OK. Certainly could have used quite a bit more vegetables. We would've liked more than one leaf of bok choy! The happy hour prices sure were nice.

We enjoyed dining here during our last night in Jackson. The highlights of the meal were the Cabbage Salad and the Salmon and the Caesar Salad was inventive. My husband enjoyed the Coconut Rice Panacotta. The only downside was the duck had the skin left on.

    Lovely plating.

Excellent food, lovely drinks, very chill vibes. Standouts were the mushroom toast, shrimp tempura (super light batter), and the burger.

The service was great and pir waitress was kind. Although the noodles looked good, I wasn't sure I had a big enough appetite so I thought I would start with the Papaya Salad, amd if still hungry get noodles after. The Papaya Salad was huge! The spice was good, but the papaya was definitely not fresh. Everything in the salad was hard & raw amd slightly pickled. I ended up ordering a side of chicken to get some protein, which was a decent portion, but definitely boiled chicken. The BKK Noodles my husband ordered was a good portion but there were so few pieces of chicken they were gone in the first few bites. In addition the flavor was bland. It had the start of good flavor, but fell flat. In addition to the "fine" food, $30 for the noodles was insane! We have amazing thai at home all the time and it's nowhere near $30 for authentic & delicious noodles. We didn't try the other thai place in town, but if you're looking for good thai I think I would try someplace else.

I had heard of happy hour options, but when we looked at the menu, it seemed like that wasn't an option anymore. The food was delicious. I will say, similar to many places downtown, it was expensive. The dumplings were 15$ and came with four. I'd pass on these in the future. I also ordered and shared the BKK street noodles (22$ with no protein) and Mongolian beef (27$). I've seen other reviews that say the street noodles taste poorly, but that wasn't my experience. The noodles were not saucy via the "pad thai sauce", but the flavor was there and seemed somewhat authentic. The Mongolian beef though...was soooo good. That was definitely my favorite of the night, and I mixed it with some of the noodles for a yummy bite. The one negative was the service. Our waiter was not friendly and never came back. Though that was frustrating, I'd come back and try more if we're in the area again.

We stopped in with a local friend who knew the folks owning and working here and ordered tons of items for us to try. We didn't try a sushi roll unfortunately, but it's just bc we had ordered so much already! We tried the beet salad, the ribs (delicious but a bit spicy), the tempura veggies which were SO good and fresh and crispy and only lightly breaded, the broccolini, edamame and the dumplings. So we really had almost everything we could except sushi. All was great and my husband, who is a big fan of pork dumplings, loved these a lot. He raved about them all the rest of the night. For dessert - I was torn between a few things but went with the standard homemade chocolate cheesecake and it was delicious. The crust was a sort of coconut deliciousness that I especially loved. Service was great and the inside is small, but very classy. Highly recommend if you are a sushi fan. Believe the owner is from Hawaii so there is a Hawaiian influence to the food.

But I figured 7pm on a Friday night was a pretty safe bet. The service was friendly and fast, and the interior was clean and fast-casual as ever. I ordered their bbq pork and tangy fried chicken bowl with their noodles and cabbage. You know it's a rough meal when the best tasting thing was the unseasoned, uncooked cabbage. Have you ever been at a summer bbq and had a burger that was chock full of burnt grease? Yeah, that was just the noodle flavor. The chicken was definitely multiple days old and had been re-warmed to the point the constantly of the coating was really gross. The ones that were chicken, some were just fried breading. The bbq pork was well cooked but tasted half like chemicals. I ultimately threw half of the bowl out bc the brunt grease flavor started making me gag. A shame as I really was rooting for this place.
