Pork chop

We had the a wonderful meal at The Kitchen. We got a reservation a day or two before for an early dinner. Perks of an early dinner is the happy hour was still going on for some of our drinks and appetizers. Everyone at the table loved their entrees and the plates were clean by the end. Portion sizes were respectable but not huge. If you come with a large appetite after skiing I would recommend getting an appetizer or two and prepare for dessert at the end. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and the staff was friendly. I will be returning on my next trip to Jackson.

Very good. Spontaneous meal, with seating at the counter for two. I tried the duck, which was well done - if a little salty and rich. The sauce was pretty spicy too, certain Thai flavors. My mother went for the salmon, which I found to be uninteresting. But that wasn't my choice, after all. People sat next to us had the pork chop and steak, which looked quite good. Maybe next time... We got there during happy hour but neither of us ordered drinks. We lucked into the 2 for $2 deal, which makes the value worthwhile.

We were 0 for 2 trying to find a place to eat dinner when we were directed here by a local. And what a wonderful recommendation it was. This place was HOPPIN'. I honestly thought we weren't gonna get in. But thankfully there was room in the outdoor seating area, which was quite nice. The weather was perfect. We didn't get to see inside the restaurant, but we still enjoyed our dinner nonetheless. Our service was fast and friendly, and we got great recommendations from our server. And that's all great, but we went there for the food. And the food was outstanding. The drinky drinks were stiff and smooth, and the food... Oh my goodness! The food was amazing. We started with the tempura scromp-scromps (shrimp) appetizer. It was incredible. A perfect crisp and a little spice from the spicy aioli, with a little cabbage to cut the heat. For our main course, my wife enjoyed the wild mushroom ramen, and I had their roasted pork shank. Both were excellent. When she tapped out, I threw some of my remaking pork shank into the ramen to finish it off. Chef's kiss. And then for dessert, our server cleverly enticed us with a dessert menu full of items I desperately wanted to try. Sadly, I was already stuffed, so I agreed to split one item with my wife. And by split, I mean, I think she took one or two bites and I finished the rest because she also was stuffed. I don't usually overheat to the point where I'm completely stuffed, but I did not want to stop eating at The Kitchen. Everything was so incredibly good, I just couldn't leave anything behind. Admittedly, I was hurting a little bit after dinner from overindulgence, but it was the end of the night so we simply walked back to our hotel and relaxed. THAT was an outstanding meal.

Pork chops were delicious. Everything on the plate paired so well together. The salmon crudo was very flavorful. There were some parts that were a bit too salty. I was expecting raw salmon, but I think they used smoked salmon. Either way, it was delicious. The beef tartare didn't taste like anything to me. It was really disappointing.

Best tofu dish ever!

The tofu dish was the absolute best tofu dish I've ever eaten anywhere! The flavor was incredible! Some kimchi would've been a nice addition. Loved the cilantro Microgreens! The tempura shrimp was good. The steak was just OK. Certainly could have used quite a bit more vegetables. We would've liked more than one leaf of bok choy! The happy hour prices sure were nice.

Cabbage Salad

We enjoyed dining here during our last night in Jackson. The highlights of the meal were the Cabbage Salad and the Salmon and the Caesar Salad was inventive. My husband enjoyed the Coconut Rice Panacotta. The only downside was the duck had the skin left on.

Lovely plating.

A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The service and food were excellent and the outdoor seating quite nice. We got there during happy hour and started off with the Tamarind Margarita. Aside from the salt it was not very margarita like, but it was still tasty. As appetizers we got the tuna, tempura shrimp and delicious cabbage salad. The tuna was fresh and delightful with cool rice crisps hiding the raw tuna. The tempura was nicely flavored and very light, it felt more like pan fried shrimp. We shared the sizeable and colorful cabbage salad and really enjoyed the light dressing. For mains we had the Mushroom Ramen, King Salmon, and grilled pork chops. All were delicious and I'll let the photos do most of the talking. The ramen was spicy but just right for my taste. We had two desserts, the tart and the skillet. I thought the tart was a bit too hard, but the skillet was just right. It was gone before I could get a photo :-) Everything about the dinner was great. They have a very attentive staff and the outdoor patio was kid and dog friendly.

Excellent food, lovely drinks, very chill vibes. Standouts were the mushroom toast, shrimp tempura (super light batter), and the burger.

Everything we ordered was exquisite-- espresso martini, the stuffed mushrooms (to die for), and our entrees. Compliments to the chef for rendering a really special meal that we'll never be able to duplicate. The tenderloin medallions were perfect (melt in your mouth) and the preparation on the menu (blue cheese crab reduction) was flawless and didn't overpower the flavor... just added light, nuttiness to the dish. The trout was incredible. I was a little intimidated by the menu description, but the curry dusting drew out the natural sweetness of the fish. It was perfectly prepared and I ate every bite. Wonderful meal. Wonderful service by Petko. Sarah, the manager checked in frequently to make sure we loved everything and we did. It was a really special evening and we loved every moment.

Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend ordering it. I also ordered the trout, which unfortunately did not live up to the rest of the meal. It lacked flavor and was the weakest dish at the table. On the plus side, they have a solid drink selection. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so reservations are recommended. We walked in without one and were seated within about thirty minutes. The wait was spent in the lounge area, which was cozy, and they served drinks while you wait. Overall, worth visiting, especially for the lamb.

Reservations are not taken, instead you will find the host making people scoot to make room for new arrivals at the long tables. Our servers were spot-on with service, drinks and sharing her favorites. It is cozy and casual, people meeting people. The spirits here are for the pros with knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and bubbles. We started with the wild mushroom mozzarella with balsalmic butter, parmesan and balsalmic glaze served on crunchy baguettes. It was unbelievably flavored and tasty, a great start to the night and must have! The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. A pleasant surprise and would order again. The lamb pintxos was our final selection and a great dish to end the night on. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! The menu changes frequently and the tapas allow you to try several different delectable dishes. It encourages sharing and forces you to open up and try different dishes. Hands-down my favorite food and conversation while visiting Jackson, WY. To the staff here at Binn 22, congrats on a unique and completely fabulous dinner and concept. It is sort of tapas style and goes nice if you decide to eat family style. The entrees are sort of medium sized portions, so, in most cases if you share with one person you should get 2-3 dishes. If you have a light appetite, though, one of the pastas would be plenty for you. We got the Caesar salad, the elk bolganaise, and the short rib. Everything was good. They made me a couple standard Old Fashioneds different than the menu option, which were excellent. It was a new Rye to me so I took a picture of the bottle to get some at home. Prices were on the high side, but service and quality were good. My drink was $22 which, frankly was a little obscene for an Old Fashioned with a "mid-range" rye, but I was on vacation and I still had a 2nd. LOL. It was great. It's just a lot for a drink. If you want to go over the top, they also have a Tomahawk steak for $126 that I'm sure is excellent. A lot of folks were getting the bone marrow which looked good. Entrees seemed to be around $30 each. I would go back. I liked sitting at the bar and talking to people. Bartenders were really great about spacing out the food so things didn't come on top of one another.

Open style kitchen and a gathering waterhole type bar. Note: the seats at the bar reserve faster than the tables. After seeing the insides I can see why. Simply amazing. Our waitress knew the menu front to back with all the nuances. When we asked what some of her favorites were. She literally rattled off 1/2 the menu. Menu is not over sized, on purpose. Every dish is well thought out and executed to perfection. Note #2: the Ceasar Salad is enough for 2 or more! And it's fantastic. About the only thing I could suggest to be better here is if management had pre-printed "Cowboy hat etiquette" cards to hand out to the patrons who arrive with hats. Lots of hats. Not a lot of true understanding for Cowboy Hat etiquette. From casual to formal, hats are off while sitting and dining. Highly recommend Glorietta Trattoria. Just remember to take your hat off at the table.
