Dumplings

Came in on a chilly night for ramen and sat at the bar. Bartender was excellent. Immediately matched personalities and enjoyed some convo in between drinks and service. Ramen was yummy and hit the spot and dumplings were good and spicy! A great spot to visit when you're looking to switch it up from the spots in the square.

We have been having burger, fries, wraps for the last 3 days in Yellowstone and were tried of it. This place showed up on yelp while searching for different dinner cuisines. We planned to have dinner for Sunday night and no reservations were required. This place had a great ambiance and we were seated right away. The whole staff was very friendly and attended us well! Our server made great recommendations on food and we ordered Elk hunter Huckleberry Both the cocktails were good, huckleberry martini was a little bit on the sweeter side Miso soup for boys - they loved it Fire cracker shrimp for appetizers which is a solid 9/10 For main course we had Dan Dan noodles - solid 10 - requested chilly oil which added the kick And ordered Sushi Hamachi -solid 10 Kaiju - 10/10 Sake Drago -10/10 Being a sushi lover this place was a great surprise! It beats a lot of Bay Area restaurants too! I will definitely go again and would highly recommend! The current ratings on yelp don't do the justice.

I came here with a group of 6 for a Sunday night dinner, no reservation was needed. Very cozy, minimalist ambiance and not too loud. Service was fairly quick! We had 2 bottles of sake and a few other drinks. We shared the shrimp appetizer, which was lacking flavor, and the edamame, which had a tasty sweet soy sauce. I had the dan dan noodles and added pork belly; it was not traditional dan dan noodles but still very tasty! It was more like a soup. Also split the surf and turf roll, which was basically a shrimp tempura roll but topped with seared bison and it melted in your mouth! I would love to come back here when I visit again.

Amazing experience! Ava was our server and she was so sweet and great! Food was delicious, potstickers are a must and the fried rice was also wonderful! One of the girls in our group left her wallet at the table and the host even ran it out to our car. Such great customer service and food!

Amazing noodle and sushi restaurant in Jackson. From the reviews, it is inferred that Noodle Kitchen lacks good service & quality food, but my experience here was the complete opposite. For starters, the quality here was great! The workers were very attentive on ordering our food, asking for any requests, and asking how the food was. The only exception for this great service was the original wait when we were waiting to order food, but it is understandable as they were a little busy. To begin, I had got the edamame starter. The way this was cooked and seasoned was delicious. The sweet soy & garlic really popped and had a great taste. For my entree, I got the Yaki Udon with beef; It was delectable. The beef was perfectly cooked, not undercooked, nor overcooked. Everything was great about this entree. The noodles were absolutely astounding, nothing to complain about, Amazing entree. In my table, we had also gotten the pork ramen. They said it was very delicious. It also came in a big portion size. On the inside of Noodle Kitchen, it is fitted with a large bar, spanning the majority of the restaurant. They have lots of tables and table seating choices, including booths, chairs, and counter-seating. The music was also very nice, great music choices throughout my entire experience. There is really nothing to complain about Noodle Kitchen, it's a great restaurant.

This place is amazing!! Their happy hour deals are great and drinks were very good as well. I don't remember our waiters name but he was great and had excellent suggestions for us, plus he was from the same town as us! It was an amazing experience, highly recommend coming here

Oh this was a pleasant find on my final day in Jackson. We were pretty exhausted with all the tour activities and needed to retire for a cozy warm dinner on a cold rainy day. This place fit the bill pretty well. The decor inside was very nice. The Ramen was excellent and spicy. I recommend You can ask for the sauce on the side so you can control the spice. Not too expensive for Jackson prices. Easy parking outside the restaurant. They had a 45 min wait for a table when we went around 7pm on a weeknight. We settled for a bar area. It was 3 of us so not too bad. The service was quick and place looked nice and clean.

Pacific Golden Snapper with Trout Roe and Smoked Soy Sauce. Really special Crudo special tonight.

There is outdoor patio seatinf on the ground floor too and more seating inside than looks possible. The service was spot in. I ordered some drinks first, which came out very quickly. The beer flights were soo good and at an appropriate cost. I picked a ton and liked every one. I also ordered some food. I shared the watermelon salad, buffalo cauliflower, and elk pasta with another. I thought all of it was pretty good. The food felt a bit cheaper than other places around town, maybe by a few dollars. Our waitress was very busy, as the entire restaurant was packed. She came by rarely, but was friendly. I do wish she had come by more often to refill our waters. I'd definitely come back and try more beer and food!

Back in Jackson, WY and no longer have young children. Years ago, we waited in line here only to…read morebe told an hour later that children were not allowed in a bar. New Day - New Page. This bar is legendary and a staple in Wyoming. The Silver Dollar Bar was country prior to instagram and everyone wearing jeans and boots pretending they lived and worked on a ranch. The decor is nice working ranchers. Boots are working clothes, not a fashion statement. We sat at a window table to enjoy the sun on a blustery, snow showery and passing sun day. Watching tourists here is a kick in the pants as they are glued to catching moments of "living western" on their phones. The three elk smashed sliders with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese were accompanied with PERFECT, CRUNCHY, PIPING HOT RINGS. As an aside, an additional order on rings were added because once in a while you must indulge. The sliders were fine and dense but that is elk. The rings were EPIC! Today was about simple food amongst the locals. We were able to ignore the 8 bachelorettes from back east documenting every drink at the bar. For a real authentic mountain meal at a local watering hole, get to The Silver Dollar Bar in Jackson Wyoming.

Great bartenders and great food at Billy's. Really nice outdoor seating too. One of the only places in town that is staying true to its casual atmosphere while other places in town turning into fake "elevated" experiences and charging more just because they can. We came in for an appetizer and drink because we'd had a late lunch and were going to skip dinner…read more We just missed the happy hour (4-6pm). This place is attached to the Virginian Lodge complex which is a pretty cool place to stay overall. There's a little gift shop, a burger joint, the saloon, a pool, hot tub, all sorts of little amenities. So this saloon is one part of this whole lodge experience. Immediately, we liked the laid back ambiance with lots of sofas and comfie chairs to hang out with a small group of people. We sat at the bar. For us, the vibe and casual, kickback ambiance was a five star for what we were looking for (which was that). We ordered two appetizers which were maybe about average: the hatch pepper queso was not as good as the Pace queso from the jar that we had just had a week prior. The chicken tenders were typical bar tenders, nothing special. Basic fries. So the food was struggling to score a three star. The thing about the service was that it could have been much better but because of the early hour we seemed to be sort of the warm up customers. One bartender was in training so while he greeted us he was promptly dismissed by the main bartender who alternated between being the best and the worst bartender you might have. When you're two of three people at the bar and there's only five people in the whole place you might expect to get more conversation from the barkeep since we were out of towners and looking forward to hearing about the local scene. Nope. I guess you could say it was mainly our high expectation of having a friendly bartender but ended up feeling sort of like a bar seat. This was at a very low ebb in the season as well as the day so I can't imagine that the experience would improve with more people. As with all things, it's all about expectation. If you don't expect a great bartender, and don't expect great food you might come away pleased with the venue. But no dark on tap so don't expect that either.

I almost never write reviews, but Matt and the Chef deserve some recognition!…read more It was honestly hard finding good food in Jackson Hole as we are picky eaters, but this place was so good we came back twice. The fried chicken pasta was delicious - the chicken was sooo juicy. The truffle pasta was also really good. Matt works at the bar, and he made the whole experience even better. There wasn't a hostess when we walked in, but he noticed us and got us seated. We also ate at the bar another night and noticed how much he genuinely goes out of his way for everyone. Even if he's not your server, he makes sure you're taken care of. He handles negative situations really well too, even when things like food delays aren't his fault. Super friendly, great attitude, and just naturally good at what he does. Honestly, service at some other places in Jackson Hole has been pretty disappointing, so Matt really stood out and left a great impression on us.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.
