Very good, filling lunch today. I would usually prefer nearby Annie's but they are closed Wednesdays. Most dishes are available as a lunch portion, adding a small egg roll which serves as a fine appetizer. I went for Masssaman curry with chicken, as mild as naturally made. It was lacking a little depth, but the flavors were fine. The chicken was basically white breast meat thrown in at the end. The menu mentions a leg, so that may be how it is served at dinner. I bet that would be superior! Nice to see duck on the menu, though the red duck curry with pineapple and grapes disappeared when they moved out of their original underground location. The lunch costs $14, before tax/tip. Good deal in such a pricey town!

The food is decent. But not that great. There are Thai restaurants in Idaho Falls for half the price with more discriminating taste. $25 a plate is insane for a plate. Not a fan.

This was by far our favorite food in JH. The service is a little slow but it's worth the wait. Super flavorful and great amount of food. If I could change anything I would request a knife with the meal to be able to cut the large chopped veggies.

Pad see eew and yellow curry

This place is amazing!! The staff was so kind and attentive the whole time. The food came out fast and was absolutely delicious! Some of the best Thai food I've had in a while. If you're in Jackson and crave fresh and delicious food I recommend!! The restaurant is also very cute and there is a lot of parking nearby

Super mid Thai food for ridiculous prices. I just paid $30 for a tom yum soup. Hard pass.

We love Thai food especially during a ski trip but this food is lacking flavor and the service was pretty blah.

When will Thai Plate be reopened again? When I called to check/googled it, they said it would be back late November or early December. Does anyone know?

We passed by people eating on the patio and thought "we should come back here" tomorrow night. So…read morewe did. We were promptly seated on the deck and given waters. The service was great and pir waitress was kind. Although the noodles looked good, I wasn't sure I had a big enough appetite so I thought I would start with the Papaya Salad, amd if still hungry get noodles after. The Papaya Salad was huge! The spice was good, but the papaya was definitely not fresh. Everything in the salad was hard & raw amd slightly pickled. I ended up ordering a side of chicken to get some protein, which was a decent portion, but definitely boiled chicken. The BKK Noodles my husband ordered was a good portion but there were so few pieces of chicken they were gone in the first few bites. In addition the flavor was bland. It had the start of good flavor, but fell flat. In addition to the "fine" food, $30 for the noodles was insane! We have amazing thai at home all the time and it's nowhere near $30 for authentic & delicious noodles. We didn't try the other thai place in town, but if you're looking for good thai I think I would try someplace else.

I had heard of happy hour options, but when we looked at the menu, it seemed like that wasn't an option anymore. The food was delicious. I will say, similar to many places downtown, it was expensive. The dumplings were 15$ and came with four. I'd pass on these in the future. I also ordered and shared the BKK street noodles (22$ with no protein) and Mongolian beef (27$). I've seen other reviews that say the street noodles taste poorly, but that wasn't my experience. The noodles were not saucy via the "pad thai sauce", but the flavor was there and seemed somewhat authentic. The Mongolian beef though...was soooo good. That was definitely my favorite of the night, and I mixed it with some of the noodles for a yummy bite. The one negative was the service. Our waiter was not friendly and never came back. Though that was frustrating, I'd come back and try more if we're in the area again.

I chose the pork shank, which was very yummy; however, it was strangely paired with naan triangles, a cold spicy pickled kimchee and cold pickled carrots and onions. I didn't know if I was supposed to cut the meat off the bone and make little naan sandwiches or eat each item separately. I ate a small amount of the shank and nothing else. The Kitchen's menu pairs most dishes with cold pickled things, so if you don't like pickling, there's not a lot of choice. Nothing that I saw came with a steamed or sautéed vegetable, potatoes or rice. I sampled my husband's polenta and it was tasteless. Most of the menu choices were meat and the scallops were unavailable that night. Overall, the menu seemed pretentious, and the food overpriced for the limited effort it seemingly took to prepare.

Honestly, we couldn't recommend this more highly. They just changed the menu. We started with the…read morewatermelon salad and it was absolutely phenomenal. We had the miso cod, the short rib, and the scallops and they were all phenomenal dishes. Very nicely cooked, wonderful flavors. The portion of the cod and the short rib was very generous, the scallops was a little lighter, but still so lovely! We would come back here again in a heartbeat, and the ambience and service was very nice as well.

Within the next few minutes though, many more people came in and the servers seemed busy. I ordered one of the lunch options, which was a spicy pork bowl. It was spicy and flavored well! We stopped in with a local friend who knew the folks owning and working here and ordered tons of items for us to try. We didn't try a sushi roll unfortunately, but it's just bc we had ordered so much already! We tried the beet salad, the ribs (delicious but a bit spicy), the tempura veggies which were SO good and fresh and crispy and only lightly breaded, the broccolini, edamame and the dumplings. So we really had almost everything we could except sushi. All was great and my husband, who is a big fan of pork dumplings, loved these a lot. He raved about them all the rest of the night. For dessert - I was torn between a few things but went with the standard homemade chocolate cheesecake and it was delicious. The crust was a sort of coconut deliciousness that I especially loved. Service was great and the inside is small, but very classy. Highly recommend if you are a sushi fan. Believe the owner is from Hawaii so there is a Hawaiian influence to the food.
