    Luke was our phenomenal server!!!
    Tonya T.

We were grabbing a late lunch and Luke gave us a very warm greeting and I hinted my husband empties his beverage glass quite fast and next thing you know, Luke brings a carafe!!! Our prime rib sandwich and salad was exceptional, but the best part was the tranquil ambiance and Luke's attention to detail and light informative conversation. Quite memorable!!!

Great option here for rustic fine dining right in the heart of Grand Tetons National Park in Wyoming. Sure, there's a gigantic stuffed Moose head looming over you but if you look the other way, it's a magnificent, serene view of Jackson Lake and we were treated to a glorious sunset weaving in and out of the darkening clouds. Oh and the food... absolutely exceeds expectations. Pan seared Idaho trout - accompanied by just the right amount of garlic butter and rested on a farro (ancient grain), cranberry and blue cheese mix - that's a lot of action there supporting a fish that isn't in-your-face fishy to begin with and it goes down easy - you feel like you could eat a 2nd filet rather easily. Wyoming Beef Ribeye - here in cowboy country I had to try the ribeye and it did not disappoint. The picture really doesn't do it justice. Deep deep flavors and nothing quite compares to the fatty bits and suppleness found only in a medium rare ribeye. My only gripe is that they supposedly ran out of horseradish - either raw or creamy. Hmmm sounds fishy to me... Broccolini and fingerling potato sides were solid as well. We did not order the Bison Stew after chef said they would not offer a sample.... but I may actually do that for lunch tomorrow.... Service, besides the aforementioned, was great, prompt and attentive.

Delighted to find this place. Great food, in a nice sized dining room with a pleasant atmosphere and an incredible view! Often "fine dining" at a National Park is a pretentious and disappointing experience, but Peaks has good food at a reasonable price (around $20-$30 for an entree). I've paid a lot more for a lot less, in similar locations, such as the nearby Jackson Lake Lodge "Mural Room" restaurant. I was also really happy to see dishes which can be prepared as gluten-free identified as such on the menu. After ordering a g/f entree my server offered to bring out some g/f bread to nibble on. Nice touch! I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone.

Wow! After so many terrible meals at the lodges in Yellowstone, this place is like a culinary oasis in a desert of crappy roadside eateries. If you are looking for a great meal with upscale atmosphere and amazing views, this is your spot! The menu items are classic but they are all executed to perfection, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh, local, and sustainable. My sister, who lives in NYC, said it was the best steak she ever had. Ok... I don't know about THAT, but it was a damn good steak, and the smashed potatoes were like crack, they were so good. My Idaho trout was perfectly cooked and tasted incredibly fresh. Somehow even the rice/orzo pilaf was so good people were stealing bites. The salmon piccata was also a great dish. The fetuccini was tossed in a light lemon-caper sauce with asparagus, and the seared salmon was a perfect medium doneness. Yum... How was the glazed pork tenderloin w/ mashed sweet potato and sautéed broccolini? No clue because dad practically licked the plate clean :( As for dessert, do not skip the blackberry pie! I normally hate pie because of the usual gooey, super-sweet fruit fillings, but THIS pie is really good. The filling on the firmer side, and the flavor is perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. Specify that you want it warm, and you'll be in heaven! Oops, I forgot the appetizers.... Skip the garden salad - it's whatev. The cheese dip sounds plain but it is freaking amazing. It's like queso on steroids, with chorizo, roasted red pepper, and other good stuff mixed in there. Served with fresh veggies for dipping, it's like the perfect mix of healthy and artery-clogging. Portions are generous and prices are extremely reasonable, with entrees around $18 and apps around $8. Comparable meals in Jackson Hole were way pricier and not as tasty, so don't miss this place!

Reservations are not taken, instead you will find the host making people scoot to make room for new arrivals at the long tables. Our servers were spot-on with service, drinks and sharing her favorites. It is cozy and casual, people meeting people. The spirits here are for the pros with knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and bubbles. We started with the wild mushroom mozzarella with balsalmic butter, parmesan and balsalmic glaze served on crunchy baguettes. It was unbelievably flavored and tasty, a great start to the night and must have! The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. A pleasant surprise and would order again. The lamb pintxos was our final selection and a great dish to end the night on. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! The menu changes frequently and the tapas allow you to try several different delectable dishes. It encourages sharing and forces you to open up and try different dishes. Hands-down my favorite food and conversation while visiting Jackson, WY. To the staff here at Binn 22, congrats on a unique and completely fabulous dinner and concept. After a few days of "well, that was expensive" meals, this place felt like striking gold. We're not meat eaters, which can sometimes make dining in these areas a bit of a scavenger hunt, but The Blue Lion delivered anyway. The scallops were spot-on, the scampi pasta was bright and balanced, and everything tasted like someone in the kitchen actually cared. And then there's Colin, the manager--who somehow manages to be attentive, engaging, and completely unpretentious all at once. He chatted with us about food like we were old friends, made sure every detail was right, and turned dinner into an experience rather than just a reservation. Our server was equally dialed in, catching nuances in our order that most places would miss. It's the kind of service that feels effortless but clearly isn't. The vibe? Cozy, welcoming, and just the right amount of lively. The kind of place where you linger a little too long and start thinking about what you'd order next time. In a town full of places that rely on location, The Blue Lion earns it.

The bar seating was available and allowed us to watch the kitchen staff hustling. Once seated, we waited for Beste to take our order, about 10 minutes. She was MIA most of the evening. Our evening started with the braised beef bao bun with carrot, kimchi, sesame seeds, kimchi aioli, and pickled onions. The flavor was good but it was grossly over-sauced and extremely messy. The bao bun was delivered broken in half. The lemongrass flavored pork dumplings were accompanied with onions, radishes and fermented black bean chili crisp. The dumplings were boiled and had no crispness from being pan seared which left a doughy taste. Our favorite was the Caeser salad with gem lettuce, tahini Caesar, aged parm and nori dusted rice crisp. A truly crisp bite with little taste crunches from the nori and tasty tahini Caesar. Homerun! Our final dish was the shrimp toast with kimchi aioli, pickled jalapeno, toasted sesame seeds on a milk bread slice. There was no shrimp taste and was told it was a "thin" shrimp mousse spread covered by other ingredients. I would bet there is less than a teaspoon of mousse on 4 pieces of toast. I have several issues with tonight's dining experience. A waitress, Beste was MIA, left empty plates piled up with limited room at the bar, did not change out plates coated with kimchi sauce between services, and a short attitude when we asked about "where is the shrimp". I hope the restaurant can correct these issues or find help that truly cares. Hospitality means pay attention and "Anticipate" the patrons need prior to them realizing it. This also falls on management who needs to guide and set a culture that employees can emulate. SHOW THEM THE LIGHT!

Over the course of two evenings, we also met Chef Hugo and Matt, the General Manager. The French-leaning menu is driven by local ingredients with an emphasis on quality and sourcing. The cocktails are innovative, and we appreciated the sommelier's advice on wine pairings. For entrees, we especially enjoyed the bison and venison that showcased the wild game with creative but restrained accompaniments. For smaller plates, we also recommend the quail, beef tartare, red cabbage, and parsnip soup. All the elements on the plate -- proteins, grains, produce, and sauces -- were deliberate and properly cooked and seasoned. Several dishes would feel at home on the menus of critically acclaimed restaurants. Wonderful gentleman who helped make our evening memorable. And their wine smaller was equally as personable. Turns out they had a seven course tasting dinner two nights later for Valentine's Day.
