Honestly, probably the best boba I've had in Southeast Idaho. When the boba (tapioca pearls) are freshly made, you have a definite win. The texture and flavor knocks the other places out of the park. The drinks themselves have a good flavor, I do wish they incorporated either fresh or frozen fruit so the drinks tasted a little less artificial & a little more refreshing. Don't get me wrong - they're still good. It would just provide the extra "umph". The coolest part? You can mix different flavors if you want to. I'm going call my special request "The Amber". LOL. It's a mix of taro and honeydew smoothies with boba. Honeydew smoothie on top, taro smoothie on the bottom or vice versa. Either way, it's so good! I have wanted to stop by here for a while. We looked up the hours and said it closes at 11. It was 9:20. We headed over and there were a few people in line getting smoothies. It was 9:40 and our turn was up. I asked the employee how do we order the crepe. She said we can't. I asked why. She explained that they shut the crepe grill down 30 minutes before they close. I have been here many times. Their actual/traditional boba's & lemonades are wonderful & we have no complaints there. This time they ran out of boba, so we got "soda boba" drinks. I got the Cherry Bomb & my husband a mango bubble soda. 65% of both of our drinks was just ice. To pay $7 for each, I want more drink than ice. There were 2 girls. One making the crepes and the other making drinks, both in plain sight. I watched the crepe girl poke, prod & touch my cooked crepe WITHOUT GLOVES ON! She eventually did when dealing with the filling, but I decided to say something. I told the girl at the counter and she reassured me that the crepe was hot? Buttt that has nothing to do with her hand germs! I went back to my seat and I could see them talking about me. Not enjoyable. When my husband and I got the crepe we shared. It's fairly big! It tasted like a banana crème pie with vanilla wafers and chucks of banana. There was probably 3-1 filling to actual crepe but still yummy! It's VERY sweet or keep that in mind. My overall observations; 1. This has been my first "bad" experience at crush. The owners are WONDERFUL and I am sure these things wouldn't have happened if Steve was there. 4/10 2. I've only ever been here for the crepes as I don't like boba, but I really enjoyed the food! A little bit pricy, but not too bad for Rexburg. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is due to a few things, the first of which being I've never had a great experience with the customer service. It's not bad by any means, just not very friendly and they all just seem to hate their jobs (at least this has been the case the times I've gone in.) Second, the last 2 times I went in the crepes were a bit burnt but I have never successfully made a crepe so I really can't judge haha! Third, I think the hours are a bit unreasonable. I mean, I know they aren't predominately a crepe place, but that's a big part of their look, right? And the fact that crepes tend to be a breakfast food and they don't open until noon most days is just a little weird to me. They've lost my business more than once because I typically want crepes in the morning but they don't open until lunch time, so that's a bummer (mostly for me because I didn't have a crepe).
