Across the stretch of an all glass front, we get window sized clings beautifully showcasing close ups of healthy bowls. When walking the sidewalk they lead like a stroll of art exhibits concluding at the pièce de résistance--the unmistakable scrawling of Gaia Bowls' white logo. acting as a beacon it highlights the building's list of other establishments. That's brilliant, and not to take away from the other cool stuff, but today we are here for the main event, Gaia Bowls! Greeting us at the door was the smiling, easy breezy, and confident manager, Ashley(sp?). Oh no--I'm sorry the local youngsters and parents would tell you her name is, Miss Ashley. She goes by this Miss, cuz she was a/the? local preschool teacher for quite some time I gather. Anyway, Miss Ashley is great (you'll meet her in photos), she didn't stress that she had work to do. Her help would be a little late coming in, so she got to make the order for all three of us, and we were ready for some food! She helped us understand everything on the menu(especially helpful for me, because my eyes don't like menu boards anymore). We all ordered at least two items, while she kept talking to us with a shining sense of humor, and cheerful personality. It felt like we were making a new friend. She never stopped smiling, even while making our food. Intermittent conversation with our hostess continued for a bit while we gathered our utensils and chose a table. We took some photos of the contemporary dining area, while waiting for the moment of truth. It soon arrived, quickly followed by my my first bite of that Fit Fuel Toast. That ended my talking to humans!--I could only grunt and roar sounds of devour. Like, a cottage cheese and avocado smash on a soft sourdough took over my mouth. Sliced egg and seasonings, including my customization of added red pepper flakes (Which Miss Ashley applied with--yeah, you guessed it--a smile) reminded me to not scarf, but chew the quartered delicacy. I highly recommend this mountain of delicious protein! When I'm ordering tempting food, "That's all"usually arrives far too late. So in addition, I got a Holy Cacao! (Cocao + Coconut base) bowl.
