Great coffee and breakfast option. We had the breakfast croissant and burrito. I prefer the croissant because it wasn't as heavy as the burrito. Their latte is really good as well! The service is quick! For a shop it has many customers as them, you'd expect a 20 mins wait. I got my drink within 5 mins. It's a very cute aesthetic inside. read more

Not the best tea in Bozeman, but a place with ample indoor seating and some pretty snazzy merchandise. Open early with friendly staff. When we were there early in the morning (7:30ish), it was pretty much our group ruling the place - but as the morning went on, a line began to form out the door. Cowboy Coffee is centrally located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It's eye-catching to those looking for coffee. However, it comes off as overrated. They ran out of croissants before 7 AM. The coffee was not very flavorful and fell flat. For being a location and a tourist spot, the service was very slow to complete orders. Overall, it was overpriced and not that good. When we got dropped off to go there again, I decided not to order and go to a different coffee shop because the options at Cowboy Coffee are just "meh." I give it 2 stars because the breakfast sandwich was okay. The cinnamon roll seemed burnt or too chewy like it was over-cooked reheated with not enough icing. The avocado toast was lacking avocado and with such little egg on it. Will not be coming back. read more

I was looking for the coffee shop that opens the earliest in Jackson Hole, and Cowboy Coffee was the one that showed up in my searches. They opened at 6AM, and they get very busy. I love their merchandise-- they have some cute little shopping bags and mugs. Anyways I like their coffee. But, I really came here to get some breakfast. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant and it was bigger than I expected. The ham had a sweetness to it -- I think it was honey ham. Overall, the ham and cheese croissant was sweet and savory. Cowboy coffee is not one of the viral instagram spot that misses on reality. It's reality is good coffee with an incredible amount of selections. Not to mention the incredible Cowboy Burrito. Came in for a quick stop on our stroll through town. There was a long line always a good sign. I got a double espresso and gluten free banana chocolate muffin. The special of the day. It was very good I could not tell the difference with a regular muffin. The espresso was tasty. There are a few comfy seats and couch near the front where we sat. Line gets long in the morning. I got an iced matcha with vanilla and lavender - could be worse. It was tolerable considering I'm a huge matcha drinker and nerd who is used to very high quality powder. They have 2 options for matcha, pre-sweetened powder and an unsweetened powder. I was really looking forward to grabbing a bite in the morning here but my experience was 50-50. The vegetarian breakfast burrito was dry and nothing like it was described in the menu. It felt like they forgot not one but a few different ingredients. Plus, it's not prepared to order but ready to go. The drink I wanted, matcha huckleberry lemonade, was on their online system but actually not in season according to the server. However the server then checked with the staff and they said they could make it. It was a good drink but so very tart, too much lemon. This cafe has the best coffee in Jackson. Great latte. Also, we bought two sandwichs to go and they did not disappoint. The chicken sandwich was moist and love the ranch sauce. The Grazer was so fresh. Prices are decent compare with other cafes around. All cafes in The Square goes busy very fast but service is fast and moves fast so don't hesitate to get on line. Heard about Cowboy Coffee on TikTok and had to stop by on our trip on Jackson! Be prepared for a long wait on the weekend but honestly it was worth it. I'm very picky about chai and it was surprisingly really good! The croissant was delicious. It reminded me of a home cooked breakfast. I believe it is dog friendly as we saw a dog inside while waiting. Decent amount of seating too! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're in Jackson! read more

This is a tough one... the cafe was super messy during our visit with trash all over the ground. When we walked up to order the girl working the register was texting on her phone - she looked up and said sorry but then kept texting. We ordered a drip coffee and a dirty chai. I really liked the amount of spice in the chai but my husband described his coffee as "unremarkable". After taking our order the girl went back to texting. I'm not super motivated to visit again but I'd like to give them another chance someday. read more

Absolutely horrendous service paired with below average food. I walked in and ordered two burritos a veggie burrito for me and a meat burrito for my boyfriend. I also ordered a matcha latte. There was no warning that their matcha is already heavily pre sweetened, so I asked for lavender syrup and oat milk. When we finally received our drinks and I took a sip on my way out, it was genuinely one of the worst matcha drinks I've ever had. It tasted like straight sugar water with an overwhelming amount of lavender. Completely undrinkable. I immediately went back inside to see if it could be fixed since I was not going to drink it. I waited politely while the barista finished what she was doing. She looked up at me with visible confusion, so I explained that I didn't realize the matcha was pre sweetened and that adding lavender made it far too sweet. She did not say a single word. Instead, she gave me a judgmental look, smirked, and glanced around as if looking for a reaction from others. Without acknowledging me, she started remaking the drink very quickly and sloppily, clearly annoyed. When she reached for whole milk, I reminded her I had asked for oat milk, which was met with another look of irritation. She finished the drink, slammed it on the counter without a word, and continued to glare. I still said thank you and left. Once we got to the car and opened our burritos, we realized both the meat and veggie burritos were wrapped identically with no markings. My boyfriend had to bite into both to figure out which was which. The veggie burrito I received was extremely mushy and unappetizing, and I lost my appetite immediately. Between the rude, dismissive service and the poorly executed food, this place was a complete disappointment. I will not be returning. read more

I still wasn't awake and in need of my matcha fix, and here is where Cowboy Coffee comes to the rescue for this damsel in distress. This place is 100% worth waiting in line for. The huckleberry mud pot is the best coffee I've ever had ever. I had it both iced and hot and it was just outstanding. The breakfast biscuit sandwich is out of this world. We tried it with both sausage and bacon. The biscuit is truly a standout. We also tried the cinnamon brioche, which was so light and flaky and had just the right amount of butter in the pastry. Absolutely delicious! While the facility is very nice, the true vibe is standing outside with all the other patrons and visiting. My only wish was that they had a place to refill your water bottle. There was a place to access water, but it tasted like hot dish water. Sidenote: the swag they sell is pretty cool. A favorite during our trip to Jackson - we went 3 times! The honey badger latte is warm and perfect for the weather, I converted my non-hot latte boyfriend to it after our first visit. The cowboy croissant is flavorful and just the right amount of food needed for breakfast. Plus side, they were dog friendly - it's always best to ask before entering (especially a restaurant) but Jackson proved to be just as dog friendly as it claimed to be. My place to go when I'm in town. A good way to taste the quality of the coffee is to have straight up black...and it's great coffee. For breakfast I got the Cowboy Croissant (fried egg, bacon or sausage, red roasted peppers, avocado aoli and cheddar) Tasty sandwich...my only complaint is there were one strip of pepper and no aioli (I did see any) Overall love the ambiance, staff are attentive and friendly. Cute local coffee shop! There is 2 of them, one on the Main Street in town and a very cute inside area however it always has a line out the door. We ended up going to the drive through one which is just 7 mins away and was not too busy. Although the workers here were very slow two girls were at the window talking in front of us without taking our order for like 5 minutes. I tried the Mexican mocha and it was verryyyyyy delicious. My friends got lattes and mochas and hot chocolate, all good reviews. I hope the other location had some better workers! Not too pricey either for a Jackson hole tourist attraction haha read more
