Absolutely horrendous service paired with below average food. I walked in and ordered two burritos a veggie burrito for me and a meat burrito for my boyfriend. I also ordered a matcha latte. There was no warning that their matcha is already heavily pre sweetened, so I asked for lavender syrup and oat milk. When we finally received our drinks and I took a sip on my way out, it was genuinely one of the worst matcha drinks I've ever had. It tasted like straight sugar water with an overwhelming amount of lavender. Completely undrinkable. I immediately went back inside to see if it could be fixed since I was not going to drink it. I waited politely while the barista finished what she was doing. She looked up at me with visible confusion, so I explained that I didn't realize the matcha was pre sweetened and that adding lavender made it far too sweet. She did not say a single word. Instead, she gave me a judgmental look, smirked, and glanced around as if looking for a reaction from others. Without acknowledging me, she started remaking the drink very quickly and sloppily, clearly annoyed. When she reached for whole milk, I reminded her I had asked for oat milk, which was met with another look of irritation. She finished the drink, slammed it on the counter without a word, and continued to glare. I still said thank you and left. Once we got to the car and opened our burritos, we realized both the meat and veggie burritos were wrapped identically with no markings. My boyfriend had to bite into both to figure out which was which. The veggie burrito I received was extremely mushy and unappetizing, and I lost my appetite immediately. Between the rude, dismissive service and the poorly executed food, this place was a complete disappointment. I will not be returning. read more

I was really looking forward to grabbing a bite in the morning here but my experience was 50-50. The vegetarian breakfast burrito was dry and nothing like it was described in the menu. It felt like they forgot not one but a few different ingredients. Plus, it's not prepared to order but ready to go. The drink I wanted, matcha huckleberry lemonade, was on their online system but actually not in season according to the server. However the server then checked with the staff and they said they could make it. It was a good drink but so very tart, too much lemon. This cafe has the best coffee in Jackson. Great latte. Also, we bought two sandwichs to go and they did not disappoint. The chicken sandwich was moist and love the ranch sauce. The Grazer was so fresh. Prices are decent compare with other cafes around. All cafes in The Square goes busy very fast but service is fast and moves fast so don't hesitate to get on line. Heard about Cowboy Coffee on TikTok and had to stop by on our trip on Jackson! Be prepared for a long wait on the weekend but honestly it was worth it. I'm very picky about chai and it was surprisingly really good! The croissant was delicious. It reminded me of a home cooked breakfast. This is a tough one... the cafe was super messy during our visit with trash all over the ground. When we walked up to order the girl working the register was texting on her phone - she looked up and said sorry but then kept texting. We ordered a drip coffee and a dirty chai. I really liked the amount of spice in the chai but my husband described his coffee as "unremarkable". After taking our order the girl went back to texting. I'm not super motivated to visit again but I'd like to give them another chance someday. read more

After going to another cafe that morning, I was thoroughly disappointed with a matcha-flavored milk. This place is 100% worth waiting in line for. The huckleberry mud pot is the best coffee I've ever had ever. I had it both iced and hot and it was just outstanding. The breakfast biscuit sandwich is out of this world. We tried it with both sausage and bacon. The biscuit is truly a standout. We also tried the cinnamon brioche, which was so light and flaky and had just the right amount of butter in the pastry. Absolutely delicious! While the facility is very nice, the true vibe is standing outside with all the other patrons and visiting. My only wish was that they had a place to refill your water bottle. There was a place to access water, but it tasted like hot dish water. Sidenote: the swag they sell is pretty cool. My place to go when I'm in town. A good way to taste the quality of the coffee is to have straight up black...and it's great coffee. For breakfast I got the Cowboy Croissant (fried egg, bacon or sausage, red roasted peppers, avocado aoli and cheddar) Tasty sandwich...my only complaint is there were one strip of pepper and no aioli (I did see any) Overall love the ambiance, staff are attentive and friendly. Cute local coffee shop! There is 2 of them, one on the Main Street in town and a very cute inside area however it always has a line out the door. We ended up going to the drive through one which is just 7 mins away and was not too busy. Although the workers here were very slow two girls were at the window talking in front of us without taking our order for like 5 minutes. I tried the Mexican mocha and it was verryyyyyy delicious. On a recommendation from the Anvil Hotel we headed over to this local small business purveyor for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was good, strong and robust while the sandwiches were definitely better than a fast food joint. I was a little disappointed that the breakfast sandwiches were already made and sitting in a heated glass case BUT I suppose it wasn't all that surprising considering the line going out the door. The service was great, they were patient and kind even with the line of patrons building as we tried to decide what to order. Parking in the Fall is not horrid and the town is small enough to make this a short walk from our hotel. Definitely recommend you support this small local business. read more

Cowboy Coffee on N. Cache street in Jackson Wyoming one of my favorite local establishments. The inside of the storefront has a modern industrial/rustic western vibe with it's exposed wooden beams restored wooden shelves and warm grey color scheme on the walls. The food at cowboy coffee is good. during my visit I enjoyed a almond croissant and a dark roast coffee. The croissant was really good especially since they used real marzipan (I have had almond croissants that were not made with marzipan). The service is awesome compared to other coffee shops in town and the baristas are super friendly and are easy to chat with while the service is slow. normally the coffee shop is very busy and the average wait time could be 10+ minutes. read more

Terrible !! I was so excited to try this place coming here from out of town . I decided to try the Mexican mocha . Well i definitely did not like it . I decided to ask if I could just replace it with a regular mocha considering i just spent around $6 for a coffee . I was told no I would have to pay for a new coffee and I would receive a discount . All the research for food in Jackson led me to Cowboy Coffee Co. And for good reason. The place was understandably packed. It's small inside, but there are a few tables and a bar along the back. In addition to the food and drinks, they have a variety of items for sale. Souvenirs, hats, shirts, etc. They also offer a variety of food options, including breakfast sammiches, muffins, etc. I'm not a coffee drinker but my wife is, and and she very much enjoyed her drink (a "Honey Badger"), and a chocolate muffin. I enjoyed my Lotus Energy (pink lemonade) and "Cowboy Croissant". After securing our items (and a couple souvenirs for the wifey), we walked across the street to the main square. We took pictures under the famous antler arches, and walked through the peaceful park. The business in Cowboy Coffee never died down. I got to try the beloved Cowboy Coffee shop in downtown Jackson, and I'm a fan. I stopped by Cowboy Coffee on a Monday morning. I placed an ASAP order online for pickup, and it was ready as expected. The coffee shop was adorable, and I can see why it's a local favorite. Besides the vibes, the coffee and food were great. I got an almond milk latte, and there was something special about it. I can't quite put my finger on it, but maybe it's chicory I tasted? The coffee had a smoky flavor with a subtle sweetness although there was no added sugar. I also got THE Cowboy Croissant, which was highly recommended on YouTube videos of what to eat at Jackson. Pleased that I was able to customize the sandwich and make it a veggie version since I don't eat pork. The sandwich hit the spot, and the ingredients tasted fresh. It consisted of 2 fried eggs (over hard), avocado, red onions, peppers, and some time of aioli. Can't say that I could taste the aioli, but it was a solid sandwich nonetheless. read more

Really cute place for coffee right in the heart of downtown Jackson. They offer a bunch of coffee beverages but since I don't drink coffee, I went for the bhakti chai. The barista asked what kind of milk I wanted which I appreciated very much cuz I forgot that I wanted oat milk with it. The chai came out fast even thought the place was pretty busy and it was very very good. Good strong flavor! The cup is so cute too! There's wifi if you want to work and plenty of outlets to charge your phone and laptop. Good amount of bar seating too. They have food too! I saw some people eating some sandwiches. I came back the next morning to order a breakfast burrito - which are pre-made - it has eggs and sausage and hash browns. It's not a huge burrito but it was really filling and was perfect for fueling me for a morning of skiing. It was DELICIOUS.
