Yummy florentine
Susie D.

Came through with that mid afternoon snack! It was July 4th, we were walking around town, checking it out, building up an appetite. Thank goodness this place was open bc I needed my snack attack. Now, I don't like chocolate (*gasp* I know), and they had a wide assortment of non-chocolate goodies. The one I selected was an elevated granola bar in the best way possible. Delicious crust, fruit, nuts, and the sweetness I needed to get me to the fireworks. Boom.

Very impressed with the array of offerings at CocoLove. It has everything from uniquely designed truffles to macarons to exquisite pastries to sorbet / gelato options and even a brownie muffin that makes you wonder why it required a trip to Wyoming to get exposed to this dessert. If you have a sweet tooth, you have a lot to consider here. The staff was super friendly in answering my questions. We bought some items and ate inside the shop, which was clean and welcoming for purposes of a casual, gourmet, dessert experience. They did a really great job here, and other venues would be wise to take note.

Strawberry Coconut

We got a strawberry coconut mousse cake, macaroons and a chocolate mousse. All the desserts were decadent and just the right amount of sweet. The lady at the counter was very sweet and the cafe is a small quaint hole in the wall place. We plan to go back to try the horchata shake and chocolate bars.

It was like stepping back into Italy a little for us. Hands down my favorite Bar (coffee and pastries) in Jackson. All others don't compare. A must stop for everyone!!!!

Pastries: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: If you want a tasty sweet treat in this town...definitely come here! The extended review... Pastries: Raspberry Pistachio - 4/5 - A very good tasting combination. There are many distinct layers to this dessert. Mani - 4/5 - Who doesn't like peanut butter and chocolate? If you are...this is your dessert. Once again there's a number of great textures with this dessert. Passion Fruit w/ Coconut Ganache Bar - 4/5 - Super tasty and rich. I loved the combination of flavors for this bar and it was in my stomach within a few seconds. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and helpful staff. Ambiance: 4/5 - Definitely an elevated feeling as you walk into the shop.

Very quaint little chocolate coffee shop. Love the interior of the place. Colors of fall. Stopped by here after exploring the town. Shop sells fancy quality chocolates and gelato. We ordered cafe latte and almond croissant. The croissant was excellent except for the too crumbly texture and that's just me. The flavor however is delectable. We sat outside and enjoyed people watching.

Great place for great-tasting, creative desserts. We tried their Espresso cheesecake and it was perfect. Not too sweet, and super rich. Would love to check out more of their desserts on a future visit.

Warm Spiced Apple Cider + Cinnamon Roll

A quaint confectionary tucked away on Broadway, this shop is a sweet tooth's dream. This cozy shop showcases a variety of bespoke desserts including chocolates, cakes, tarts & gelato made by Master Chocolatier, Oscar Ortega. I stopped in here for a coffee to-go and ended up enjoying my goodies inside. I ordered the Warm Spiced Apple Cider and cinnamon roll. It was PERFECT for the rainy weather that I encountered. You need to stop here and grab some sweets for that special dessert lover in your life.

If you don't tip they will only add milk to your latte, and not espresso. Especially if it's the woman with sparky attitude.

This bar is legendary and a staple in Wyoming. The Silver Dollar Bar was country prior to instagram and everyone wearing jeans and boots pretending they lived and worked on a ranch. The decor is nice working ranchers. Boots are working clothes, not a fashion statement. We sat at a window table to enjoy the sun on a blustery, snow showery and passing sun day. Watching tourists here is a kick in the pants as they are glued to catching moments of "living western" on their phones. The three elk smashed sliders with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese were accompanied with PERFECT, CRUNCHY, PIPING HOT RINGS. As an aside, an additional order on rings were added because once in a while you must indulge. The sliders were fine and dense but that is elk. The rings were EPIC! Today was about simple food amongst the locals. We were able to ignore the 8 bachelorettes from back east documenting every drink at the bar. For a real authentic mountain meal at a local watering hole, get to The Silver Dollar Bar in Jackson Wyoming.

Highly recommend all the things we ordered, which were: French Toast, yogurt and granola, spinach feta, ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, lemon lavender scone, kouign amann, lavender honey latte (which was a seasonal item) and drip coffee! I would have taken pics but ugh we couldn't wait. That's how good they were! How this bakery got 2nd place for the James Beard award but we thought they deserved FIRST!

I'd read about Persephone before our trip and marked it as a "must try" while in Jackson Hole…read more We walked over early (8am) on a Thursday morning to grab a cup of coffee and peruse the pastries. We were very surprised to find the line already went out the door! The line moved fast and boy you better be ready to order when you step up, because it is a fast moving, no messing around system. In addition there were at least three employees taking orders at the counter so the pastry case is extremely crowded and it's difficult to view what the options are. The employees weren't un-kind, but they there were no niceties like "good morning". They wanted to move you through the line quickly, so we didn't feel we could really peruse the pastries and so we skipped it and we just ordered a hot coffee and a large hot almond milk latte. People were already more than crowded inside waiting for their items so we stepped onto the patio. It was a chilly morning so the small fire pit was welcomed. For the giant crowd waiting we received our drinks within a reasonable time frame. They call names from inside behind the counter, so if you are not within 4 feet of the counter you will not hear them. We sat on the patio near the garden and the view was beautiful. My "large" latte was the same small size of my husband's drip coffee and both appeared to be around 12-14oz. Disappointing. The drip coffee was okay, but not worth returning for and my almond milk latte was also just okay. We maybe would have given Persephone another try, but in the end we chose to try the many other coffee/bakery shops in downtown. I'm not saying 'stay away', I'm just saying it's not as amazing as the hype. Other tips -look at the menu BEFORE you get in line, especially if it is buys -if you happen to snag an indoor seat realize there will be little to no privacy as the line will form right next to your table. -the birds outside are cute, friendly and will absolutely eat your food if you leave it unattended for even a moment - we saw a pack of small birds try to fly off with an entire egg croissant sandwich in the 1min the owner stepped inside for napkins. *don't worry, we stopped them

The bison with the caramelized onions was next level! The huckleberry was pretty good too. For the main course, we got the bison burger and the red sauce with meatballs. The bison burger was so tender and melted in my mouth. I had regretted the choice of a bison burger because I remembered how most ends up so dry, but not this. The pasta with meatballs reminded me of my childhood, but better. The meatballs are so full of flavor. Miazga's is great comfort food, perfect for a ski town. Everything has an add pricing, and they're definitely great adds, but the end bill was very affordable for a nice ski town. On cold nights at home, I'll definitely be craving the food.

The vibe here is super cute and full of character -- I took so many pictures because the decor alone makes this place worth stopping by. We came in with a pretty large group of about 20 Baddies, and even with the crowd, the staff was quick and friendly. Some of our group stayed here while others headed out to eat, but this was the perfect little spot to relax, people watch, and hang out with the locals. They've got pool tables, bar seating on both sides, and round tables if you just want to sit, chat, and enjoy your drinks. Definitely a fun stop while visiting the area! And don't forget to stop by the steakhouse downstairs, unfortunately it wasn't open when we got there but hopefully on our next trip as it opens at 4a d after hiking and up since 2am we didn't wanna wait, but you should!
