This place! What a fluffy and chocolate croissant! Had the pastries from here served a few doors away at the hotel, and after brunch, raced over to buy more chocolate croissants. I almost cried when they said they ran out, but just hen a new delivery of goodies came through the door. Didn't have any room left in my tummy for the chocolate goodies, but I will be back! The muffins, especially he raspberry was raspberryliscious! Not your average pastry place, these guys are winning worldwide awards! read more

We wanted to get a treat after dinner and this was close by, so we decided to try it. It was 7:50p and they close at 8p. We walked in, took a look at what was on display, the service person was on the phone and didn't acknowledge us at all. After a few minutes-still no hello, no I'll be right with you-nothing. We turned around and walked out. The food and candies looked delicious but the service was just rude. read more

Although this place sells artisan chocolate, pastries, gelato and espresso we only tried the gelato given it was summer and wanted something cold. We arrived around 7:30pm (place closes at 8pm) on a Saturday and it was empty. The workers seemed to be really bored. We tasted the coconut, caramel, hazelnut and the raspberry gelato. They were generous with the tasting portion as I tried two flavors and my wife tried three flavors. I went with the raspberries and my wife with the hazelnut. They are both really good and depends if you want a chocolate flavor or a fruity flavor. Although I didn't like the actual raspberry inside the ice cream. Thought they were too cold, too big and too sweet. The ice cream would be better without them or if they were cut into small pieces. read more

The macaroons rival Lauderee and I won't soon have another this good. The outside was sturdy but melted as soon you've taken a bite. I tried the salted caramel and mango, both seasonal flavors and both Delicious. Chef Oscar Ortega has a gift and from the chocolates to the coffee served in store, all were amazing. If your looking for a souvenir, skip the magnates and shot glasses. Bring home a box of chocolates or macaroons from an award winning local master Latin chef. read more

If you are a chocolate lover this is for sure the place to go. I took home 3 of the beautiful pastries and they were all delicious. I go a coconut creme brulee, raspberry chocolate gateau and a praline dessert. They were all delicious in their own way and extremely beautiful. All of the flavors were present in each and there were layers of flavor in all of them. This isn't an American type pastry place but a pure culinary treat. These are created from someone classically trained who knows how to play and match flavors. I didn't try any coffee or anything else but will be back to try. Customer service was a little lacking, she might've been new, but had problems asking some of the questions that I had. read more

You must go to Coco Love if you are a chocolate lover! I had the Mexican hot chocolate with skim milk (and can't imagine it with any heavier milk because the mix is so rich), and it was fabulous. They can add some hot pepper seasoning to it if you like, but I enjoyed the mixture of cinnamon, chocolate, and whatever other spices are in it. My husband had the espresso gelato, and it was so light and smooth. They have some beautiful bon bons and truffles. YUM. read more

I had the Masters Gâteaux and an americano, and my wife had a chocolate tart. It was all delicious. I normally don't take pictures of my food, but this was an exception. And it was all delicious. The chocolate tart was so rich and perfectly balanced. The crust was very good, too. The gateaux, well, it was other-worldly. I can't remember everything that was in it -- chocolate, almond, lemon, white chocolate, berries?, and cardamom. The depth of flavor was outstanding. From the time it entered my mouth until after I swallowed, the flavors changed. And I have to say, I love cardamom in my Turkish coffee, but I never would have expected it in gateaux. Well, it was perfectly brilliant in there. The americano was delicious, too. The espresso was smooth, and the whole mug complemented the gateaux perfectly. Highly recommend!!! read more

My husband and I came here for the first time while on vacation and it was AMAZING! I personally am not a chocolate person (I know, I'm weird) but with that being said I LOVED everything we had. Everything appears lovely in the case, but nothing tasted good. The macarons were passable, but not great. They were more wet than chewy and all of the pastries seemed old. The chocolates were truly regrettable. Not one of them was pleasant and the mint chocolate was offensive. read more

Stopped in for a pastry. I asked if they had jalapeño ham and cheese croissants and was told no. So I chose a regular ham and cheese - there were two different sizes, and I was told one was cheddar and one was Swiss. I chose the Swiss. When we started eating - it turned out to have jalapeño and cheddar and no ham whatsoever. I also got a blueberry muffin that was very dry. Overall a very disappointing restaurant. read more

I was not expecting to find a high end chocolate dessert place here. However, the founder is a award winning chocolatier. We got the mexican hot chocolate and it was delicious, seemed like there was a hint of cinnamon. We also, got the coconut bread pudding, yes it was just as good as it sounds. But the best dish was the tres leches, it was more of a mango tres leches even though not labeled that way. This thing was life changing, everything in this place looks AND tastes delicious. read more

This dessert shop was so fun to discover, it was impossible to not try something! Everything looked so contemporary and elegant. We got three different kinds of macaroons and "Tres Leches" cake with chocolate on top. It was delicious and was surprised they used Mango instead of strawberries. The macaroons weren't as great as I had expected but it's probably because I've never had macaroons before so I think in my mind I was expecting something different. The lady up front was nice because she barely smiled so I felt a little awkward trying to ask for what I wanted, but she was quick to attend! read more

We got the dark chocolate mousse and the Mexican hot chocolate, absolutely AMAZING! The Mexican Hot chocolate is beautifully balanced, flavor of spice at the end but not very spicy or overpowering. My hubby spoils me with treats from here every Valentine's day and I am never disappointed. I am obsessed with their dark chocolate mousse dessert. It's my favorite hands down. The dark chocolate with the silky texture of the mousse is pure perfection. This year he also gave me a cheesecake topped with fruit. Absolutely divine! Creamy cheesecake with a sweet crust, and fresh fruit on top, how can you go wrong? Now I have two favorite desserts from here. This place is a small little cute cafe with a gelato, cake, and chocolate selection. They're items are definitely on the pricier end but the the tastes are great. I come to Jackson every winter and typically stay at The Wort hotel. This shop is located right across the street and it's convenient..in fact, I just came from there on a snowy day. The chocolate is delicious - I'm not a huge fan of dark though and the majority is... so a lot of you dark coco lovers will enjoy it. They do have a milk chocolate truffle and I love their saffron vanilla and cherry/earl grey truffle. Their hot chocolate is great - not too sweet, so it's perfect. Their desserts are presented beautifully...artistic. I've never tried them as I'm allergic to flour but they may have some gluten free ones. My only issue is the service. Repeatedly, I have been here and the young lady with the accent is unfriendly - never gracious, just hands me my receipt without a word and is just in a rush to get me out of there (when there are no customers). Not sure what is going on with her but she seems to always have bad days...or just a long term bad attitude. Makes me want to skip this place to avoid the negativity. But to each their own and it's best to come in and try it all for yourself! read more

We stopped at CocoLove because we noticed they were an award winning chocolatier by a sign we noticed when we walked by this little place the night before. I ordered a cappuccino and had a tiny piece of dark chocolate salted caramel. The cappuccino was served lukewarm, not hot like I like it. It was also served in a very small cup, maybe 3-4oz, not worth the money. The chocolate was just OK, nothing I was wowed by. I didn't taste the sweet and saltiness I was looking for from the caramel and sea salt combination. My husband, though, did enjoy his gelato. Amazing! Do not miss this place. We've been 2 of 3 days and will likely get a care package for the trip home. Should note - Were chocolate lovers so temper our review accordingly. Then since the box did not fully close (and she saw me attempting to close it) she asked me if I would be shipping them and I said yes again. so now I have to ship a partially opened box of chocolates.

The vibe here is super cute and full of character -- I took so many pictures because the decor alone makes this place worth stopping by. We came in with a pretty large group of about 20 Baddies, and even with the crowd, the staff was quick and friendly. Some of our group stayed here while others headed out to eat, but this was the perfect little spot to relax, people watch, and hang out with the locals. They've got pool tables, bar seating on both sides, and round tables if you just want to sit, chat, and enjoy your drinks. Definitely a fun stop while visiting the area! The cocktail waitress basically threw the menu at my wife while I waited inline to order food. When I got to the table about 15 minutes later, she had walked by about 10 times and never took her order. I then went and got in the walk up line at the bar. About 5 minutes later I was at the front of the line. The food got delivered and I waited another 5 minutes for the bartender to look at me ( he walked by me about a dozen times.). Finally took my order. French fries were cold when I finally got back to the table. Total bummer of a visit. The chicken Cesar salad is quite good.

This place is so amazing!!! My fiancé and I stumbled upon this place and were so happy we did. He got the mini cheesecake which simply amazing. It was so pretty we hated cutting into it. I got the creme brûlée in a chocolate cup. We then learned that their Gelato won an award for being the best and the competition was in Italy!! Sooooooo we tried that as well. We also tried a Mexican Hot Chocolate and it was the best we had ever had. Their little chocolates are gorgeous and delicious!! So happy we tried this place and can't wait to come back next time we are in town! read more

The chocolate and cakes were seriously good! The spot itself is very small and quaint. It wasn't very busy, as it was snowing really hard, but they had a wide selection for all flavor profiles. We took the Mexican cake and some truffles to go as we were going to the movie theater to watch Dune II! it was a great snack, one less star as there seemed to be no energy from the staff. I recently visited this chocolate shop, and I must say I was quite disappointed with the customer service. The employee seemed disinterested and unhelpful throughout my entire visit. I was merely stopping through Jackson to get a quick drink, but the overall experience was tarnished by the lack of friendly and attentive service. I hope they can improve in this aspect because good service is just as important as the quality of the products. read more

The cakes were really delicious, and the coffee was good but very strong. There is a good selection of cakes and chocolates, and various other bits and pieces to buy. It wasn't busy at all when we visited, and the waitress was very helpful. read more
