I appreciate that there are quite a few dairy free / (maybe) vegan options -- I'm excited to try more throughout the summer. Also bonus points because they use metal sampling spoons instead of disposable plastic ones! Lots of seating options inside & out. Games & puzzles & books available too, and lots of events. The coffee beans & drinks I have tried here have also been very enjoyable.

I went in planning to order a latte, but when I asked about flavors or specialty drinks, the barista rolled her eyes and made me feel dumb for not immediately realizing there was a list sitting off to the side on the counter. It wasn't exactly where I would have thought to look. There was no help or suggestion offered--just an expression that seemed to say, "Hurry up and order." She appeared to be training someone else, and that girl actually seemed like she wanted to help, but it felt like she was discouraged from doing so because the trainer wanted me to figure it out myself. Unfortunately, that interaction made it a first and last visit for me. The location and early opening time were convenient, but the pre-made breakfast sandwiches weren't very good, and the latte lacked both flavor and sweetness. Overall, nothing to brag about here.

Highly recommend all the things we ordered, which were: French Toast, yogurt and granola, spinach feta, ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, lemon lavender scone, kouign amann, lavender honey latte (which was a seasonal item) and drip coffee! I would have taken pics but ugh we couldn't wait. That's how good they were! How this bakery got 2nd place for the James Beard award but we thought they deserved FIRST!

The place is nice inside but again small. Wife got the ham and egg sandwich on a croissant and I got the eggs and bacon. I also got an Americano and wife got tea. Friends also got the same as ours. The bacon and eggs were good but I mean it's bacon and eggs. Very small portion size especially for the price. Oh it did have toast but no potatoes or fruit. Sandwich was solid but again pretty expensive. I also got a banana bread which was definitely the highlight. The americano was weak. Not enough espresso and the tea was also very weak. I actually thought it was just water when wife poured some into her cup. So to break it down coffee/tea not good. Good/breakfast was good but small and expensive. Bakery item fantastic. All in all not worth price and is just a trendy instagram moment place. If you need to go there for pics but get coffee and food elsewhere.

Our coffees, regular drip and a latte, were solid and I loved how the waitress checked multiple times if I needed a warm-up (which I of course took advantage of). The smokey hibiscus chilaquiles were delicious as was the orzo elote salad. They each had very unique combinations of flavors and filled us up so much that we didn't even need lunch. We took the brown butter monkey bread with us to go and even though it wasn't warm when we ate it, it was still very tasty. Prices were as expected and service was amazing. Highly recommend.

From the moment we were seated in a cozy corner booth, our server took care of us like we were her family. The pastries and butter board were phenomenal, served with homemade honey butter and jam. The homemade biscuits with poblano sausage gravy were everything you could hope for; rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The cowboy bowl smothered in sausage gravy was hearty and satisfying, with plenty left over to take home. To top it all off, our server brought out a fiery habanero hot sauce that added the perfect kick, and the Irish coffees truly hit the spot. We'll definitely be back!

For instance, she told me that a side came with the sandwich I ordered, which was incorrect. While waiting for my order (which came out quickly), it was nice to look around and take in the decor. It was very tastefully decorated inside. The first time, I shared some food. It was good, but very expensive. I got a salad (22$) and a ham sandwich. The sandwich was 16$, which wasn't worth it. One slice of ham and one slice of cheese. The salad was fresh and flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are of high quality, but I don't know how people can afford this place regularly. The second time I went, I ordered two drinks to-go. One coffee, which was good. I found that a lot of coffee places in town don't know how to pull espresso, but my coffee was soo smooth. It made me happy! The second drink was incorrect. I ordered a matcha and didn't notice till I got home, and it was coffee. My companion, for whom I got it, was very sad, as they don't drink coffee. For a 10$ drink, I expect it to be correct.
