After dinner, we visited Cream + Sugar Ice Cream Shop. The shop is located near the park and within walking distance of several restaurants, making it an easy stop after a meal. The shop offers nine different flavors and allows customers to sample them before placing an order. I ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone with tea and hot honey flavors. As a tea lover, I would rate the tea ice cream five stars. The richness of the tea flavor was well blended with the creamy base, and it reminded me of the milk tea from my hometown. The hot honey flavor was sweet and full of honey essence. The staff even offered to drizzle liquid honey on top of the ice cream upon request, which was a great addition. I do not remember if the shop has indoor seating, but we chose to sit outside on a bench since the weather was pleasant.

Their ice cream is very delicious, creamy and has a nice local made feel to it. So different from the other ice cream spots close by that feel like they were imported from across the country. Their store has a wide variety of flavors (about 10) and they also offer their tasty ice cream sandwiches. My all time favorite is their cookies and cream ice cream. So different from the classic cookies and cream- they use the cookies they use for their ice cream sandwiches. It is a must try!!!

Love love love cream and sugar! Number 1, what they consider "1 scoop" is HUGE! So come prepared to share. I love that they have a smaller menu also because it reduces decision paralysis which is amazing. I got a scoop of their collab flavor which was Persephone Smores and just yum!! I loved the milk chocolate based and the random graham crackers and marshmallow. Yum! If you want a simple ice cream shop I think this is the perfect spot and not nearly as long of a line as other places in town! Delish! read more

The ice cream was barely frozen and came out more like a milkshake. On a warm day you want your ice cream cold. The number of choices were very limited. For a tourist town I think they could do much better! Maybe check the temperature on the freezers. read more

I don't know if it's just the mint ice cream, but the texture of the ice cream here is like sandpaper. It's gritty. Hard for me to recommend but it could have just been an odd batch or something. Very busy shop. Ice cream was just okay but the scoop was generous. Had the huckleberry flavor and I was hoping for more of a berry taste than it had. The topping board is also small and on the end of the ice cream case, not on the wall menu. So I completely missed that and was disappointed after I paid and realized. I would have gotten a topping if that sign was more prominent. read more

I was excited to find this new brand of artisan ice cream from Jackson Hole, Wyoming at a local Albertson's. Of the 6 available flavors, Huckleberry was the most unique, so that's what I bought. Each pint cost $6.99, which is pretty expensive for grocery store ice cream. Although nicely packaged, I was disappointed to discover that this ice cream cream doesn't taste like huckleberries. I took a look at the list of ingredients. Mystery solved! The first fruit mentioned in the ingredients is Blueberries, followed by Huckleberry Compote. The first ingredient listed for the compote is Blueberries, followed by Huckleberries. Truth in advertising matters. I won't be buying any more ice cream by this brand. Neither should you. read more

Would not recommend coming here. I usually never write bad reviews but the service here is awful and very unorganized. It's a bunch of young kids who have no idea what they are doing. My boyfriend asked for salted caramel with sprinkles, and they ended up giving him either what was vanilla or a salted caramel that tasted exactly like vanilla with no taste of caramel. Ice cream wasn't great. We will not be coming back here. read more

Last night was dying for some ice cream after a great dinner. Found cream and sugar and got into line. The line queued down the sidewalk, it took us 15+ minutes to get to the counter. The menu outside of ice cream flavors didn't match the menu inside of ice cream flavors, which didn't match the actual ice cream that they had in the counter. The staff seemed overwhelmed for such a large crowd. Ice cream was good but not fantastic, it was a little pricey for one scoop. Would not recommend this place. read more

Nice flavors but it should not be melting immediately upon service on a 60 degree day. Also on the next morning, everyone was making multiple trips to bathroom. Not sure what quality of milk was being used but in my experience, cheaper dairy will deal more harshly with folks' digestive systems. read more

The stickiness of the ice cream, the smooth and creaminess...it was all very blissful eating this delicious ice cream after a full day of hiking! Don't miss out on this fantastic little ice cream shop! We were in town just for the night and stopped by this place after dinner. It's a small space but the lighting looks really nice. I am personally not an ice cream sandwich person but I tried their huckleberry ice cream sandwich (never had huckleberry before so I can't say much about the flavor) but the cookies were divine! My husband is an ice cream sandwich fan and he was raving about this too. I might just change my mind about ice cream sandwiches now, but I have a feeling I will be disappointed with other shops where i'm at. The staff was super friendly and service was quick, got to try a couple of other flavors, they didn't have much but that worked for me at that point in time (I honestly just really wanted to try huckleberry because tourist lol). I highly recommend the place, hopefully they branch out to our state! read more

People generally pass over this quaint little ice cream shop for other shops in the area. Do yourself a favor and don't! Cream + Sugar should be your go-to spot in the Jackson Square area. The portions are terrific and flavors consistent. Their mini ice cream sandwiches are the PERFECT post-dinner treat. While they might not have the large range of flavors as other shops, their price, portions, service, and overall deliciousness make this shop an awesome find! read more

I recommend if you are looking for a unique dessert with coffee! The French Dessert/patisserie has a variety of goods--not all shown. On the far left there is flavored chocolates (bonbons?) with a range of flavors (when I went) from Huckleberry + Vanilla, tea, etc. it looked like you had to buy a minimum box of 6 for 24$ but I could be incorrect on that. Next case had a variety of desserts, which is where the huckleberry chocolate out of (abt 9$). They do run out of pastries as the day goes on so something specific from yelp might not be in there. Next case has about 10 flavored of gelato. The following case has savory pastries like feta cheese-mushroom or ham croissants in addition to sweeter goods like croissants and cookies. There is indoor seating (about four two tops), a bench outside, and takeaway pastry or chocolate boxes if to go. When I walked in it was pretty crowded but the service was efficient. Luckily there was enough space for me to dine-in with a comfy spot against the wall. (Note: The other side of the table had soft and wide stools but with no back). (Note #2: When eating in you get ceramic plate + silverware with a plastic cup for cold drinks; there is a little station near the entrance for trash and plates). The chocolate-Huckleberry dessert was delicious. It had chocolate roses (with texture!!!) on top and a marbled silver-purple chocolate surrounding the cake and huckleberry filling. Very beautiful and I really enjoyed the sweet but also tart huckleberry with the chocolate. It was a bit of a mess to eat but I am more than okay with that! I would recommend it! I was able to get the feta-something-mushroom croissant warmed for lunch, which was pretty tasty. Nice flakiness and the middle with the filling was a nice mix. If you are stopping for lunch/breakfast and want something a little more substantial to your meal/snake then I recommend. They also had a ham-something-Jalapeño but I wasn't sure on how strong the pepper would be. Lastly, I had a matcha latte. It can come in a variety of sizes and I believe with the option of cold or hot. It was good-decent but not my favorite matcha-- the flavors were more milk heavy. But that is likely just my current preference--some places I have gone recently have it stronger and some have it sweeter; so take it as you will. It did have the nice crushable ice which I munched on with the concentrated matcha at the end though. As for the drink menu they had more non-coffee options like hot chocolate, turmeric latte, etc along with (what is maybe standard? coffees---don't drink them) like cappuccinos, mochas, etc. along with drip and affogatos.
