Cream of sugar is a cute ice cream shop. I was excited to see different flavors, like birthday cake, Huckleberry, and M&M cookie crunch. Over the course of five days, I couldn't resist and had the M&M cookie crunch ice cream three times. I looked forward to it and the prices were decent relative to the area but still pricey for the lack of toppings they added on. Regardless, I think it's a great place to stop in to grab your ice cream fix. Luckily, it did not have a major line when I stopped at different times. I wish I grabbed the mini cookie ice cream sandwiches, but maybe next time! read more

We were looking for a little sweet treat while we were out and about shopping. Ice cream sounded great since it was so hot. We stopped in here and sampled a couple of flavors and went ahead and got a scoop each in a cup. It was refreshing and good, but not mind-blowing. Service was a little off from our experience. Maybe they were just having an off day. I don't recall there was seating inside, it was pretty small. But there were a couple of benches right outside on the boardwalk, so we snagged one of those. read more

Love love love cream and sugar! Number 1, what they consider "1 scoop" is HUGE! So come prepared to share. I love that they have a smaller menu also because it reduces decision paralysis which is amazing. I got a scoop of their collab flavor which was Persephone Smores and just yum!! I loved the milk chocolate based and the random graham crackers and marshmallow. Yum! If you want a simple ice cream shop I think this is the perfect spot and not nearly as long of a line as other places in town! Delish! read more

After dinner, we visited Cream + Sugar Ice Cream Shop. The shop is located near the park and within walking distance of several restaurants, making it an easy stop after a meal. The shop offers nine different flavors and allows customers to sample them before placing an order. I ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone with tea and hot honey flavors. As a tea lover, I would rate the tea ice cream five stars. The richness of the tea flavor was well blended with the creamy base, and it reminded me of the milk tea from my hometown. The hot honey flavor was sweet and full of honey essence. The staff even offered to drizzle liquid honey on top of the ice cream upon request, which was a great addition. I do not remember if the shop has indoor seating, but we chose to sit outside on a bench since the weather was pleasant. read more

This was disappointing. We ordered one scoop of the huckleberry ice cream and it seemed like they were scraping the last bits in the barrel to come up with the one scoop. If you look at the photo, they didn't even manage to make a full scoop. But on top of that, I realized later that they charged us for a double scoop. Seriously? First of all, the decent thing to do would've been to let us know that they're out or running low on the huckleberry and if we'd like something else or at least half and half. Because it was literally scraps, the ice cream texture also felt more icy vs creamy. $8+ for this sad little scoop. Like I said, very disappointing. read more

This is a cute ice cream shop in downtown Jackson. This place is small and has no seating. You will have to be creative in finding a place to eat it. The downtown gets packed with tourists so this can get tricky, but we found a spot. There was a line outside the store onto the walkway, although it moved quickly. They had a lot of flavors. We both got a scoop of the huckleberry ice cream, which was delicious! read more

I went into Cream + Sugar a few days ago to hang out with a friend of mine. I ordered the huckleberry ice cream and she ordered the Honey pot 399 since I had ordered that in the past and thought it was amazing. The kids at the counter were friendly and nice. The shop was busy but not crazy busy so we were able to order in a reasonable amount of time. We ended up walking around the area and talked for a while. In my opinion, Cream + Sugar is one of the best ice cream shops in town and is fairly priced especially since they are less expensive compared to other shops in town and they offer a similar menu. read more

The ice cream was barely frozen and came out more like a milkshake. On a warm day you want your ice cream cold. The number of choices were very limited. For a tourist town I think they could do much better! Maybe check the temperature on the freezers. read more

Don't miss this ice cream shop!!! I have been a HUGE fan of this ice cream for years- I almost killed over when I saw they opened a location right in town. Their ice cream is very delicious, creamy and has a nice local made feel to it. So different from the other ice cream spots close by that feel like they were imported from across the country. Their store has a wide variety of flavors (about 10) and they also offer their tasty ice cream sandwiches. My all time favorite is their cookies and cream ice cream. So different from the classic cookies and cream- they use the cookies they use for their ice cream sandwiches. It is a must try!!! read more

Very busy shop. Ice cream was just okay but the scoop was generous. Had the huckleberry flavor and I was hoping for more of a berry taste than it had. The topping board is also small and on the end of the ice cream case, not on the wall menu. So I completely missed that and was disappointed after I paid and realized. I would have gotten a topping if that sign was more prominent. read more

I don't know if it's just the mint ice cream, but the texture of the ice cream here is like sandpaper. It's gritty. Hard for me to recommend but it could have just been an odd batch or something. I was excited to find this new brand of artisan ice cream from Jackson Hole, Wyoming at a local Albertson's. Of the 6 available flavors, Huckleberry was the most unique, so that's what I bought. Each pint cost $6.99, which is pretty expensive for grocery store ice cream. Although nicely packaged, I was disappointed to discover that this ice cream cream doesn't taste like huckleberries. I took a look at the list of ingredients. Mystery solved! The first fruit mentioned in the ingredients is Blueberries, followed by Huckleberry Compote. The first ingredient listed for the compote is Blueberries, followed by Huckleberries. Truth in advertising matters. I won't be buying any more ice cream by this brand. Neither should you. read more

Would not recommend coming here. I usually never write bad reviews but the service here is awful and very unorganized. It's a bunch of young kids who have no idea what they are doing. My boyfriend asked for salted caramel with sprinkles, and they ended up giving him either what was vanilla or a salted caramel that tasted exactly like vanilla with no taste of caramel. Ice cream wasn't great. We will not be coming back here. read more

Last night was dying for some ice cream after a great dinner. Found cream and sugar and got into line. The line queued down the sidewalk, it took us 15+ minutes to get to the counter. The menu outside of ice cream flavors didn't match the menu inside of ice cream flavors, which didn't match the actual ice cream that they had in the counter. The staff seemed overwhelmed for such a large crowd. Ice cream was good but not fantastic, it was a little pricey for one scoop. Would not recommend this place. read more

Nice flavors but it should not be melting immediately upon service on a 60 degree day. Also on the next morning, everyone was making multiple trips to bathroom. Not sure what quality of milk was being used but in my experience, cheaper dairy will deal more harshly with folks' digestive systems. read more

Don't miss out on this fantastic little ice cream shop! We were in town just for the night and stopped by this place after dinner. It's a small space but the lighting looks really nice. I am personally not an ice cream sandwich person but I tried their huckleberry ice cream sandwich (never had huckleberry before so I can't say much about the flavor) but the cookies were divine! My husband is an ice cream sandwich fan and he was raving about this too. I might just change my mind about ice cream sandwiches now, but I have a feeling I will be disappointed with other shops where i'm at. The staff was super friendly and service was quick, got to try a couple of other flavors, they didn't have much but that worked for me at that point in time (I honestly just really wanted to try huckleberry because tourist lol). The ice cream is rich, creamy, and they have a great variety of flavors. I like that they use natural ingredients and no food dye. The huckleberry was my favorite. It's one of those places where you immediately want to order one of everything. We tried a few pastries along with the quiche, and everything was excellent. Definitely one of the best quiches I've had. The breakfast sandwich was also an amazing savory item on the menu, it was served on their croissants so you get the best of both worlds. It does get busy, especially in the mornings, but it's worth the wait. The line moves fast and there's plenty of seating on their lovely patio. I'd consider this one of the must-stop bakeries in Jackson Hole.

The location is just a block off the main square with the Wort Hotel just across the street and some art galleries which is a great place while roaming. I recommend if you are looking for a unique dessert with coffee! The French Dessert/patisserie has a variety of goods--not all shown. On the far left there is flavored chocolates (bonbons?) with a range of flavors (when I went) from Huckleberry + Vanilla, tea, etc. it looked like you had to buy a minimum box of 6 for 24$ but I could be incorrect on that. Next case had a variety of desserts, which is where the huckleberry chocolate out of (abt 9$). They do run out of pastries as the day goes on so something specific from yelp might not be in there. Next case has about 10 flavored of gelato. The following case has savory pastries like feta cheese-mushroom or ham croissants in addition to sweeter goods like croissants and cookies. There is indoor seating (about four two tops), a bench outside, and takeaway pastry or chocolate boxes if to go. When I walked in it was pretty crowded but the service was efficient. Luckily there was enough space for me to dine-in with a comfy spot against the wall. (Note: The other side of the table had soft and wide stools but with no back). (Note #2: When eating in you get ceramic plate + silverware with a plastic cup for cold drinks; there is a little station near the entrance for trash and plates). The chocolate-Huckleberry dessert was delicious. It had chocolate roses (with texture!!!) on top and a marbled silver-purple chocolate surrounding the cake and huckleberry filling. Very beautiful and I really enjoyed the sweet but also tart huckleberry with the chocolate. It was a bit of a mess to eat but I am more than okay with that! I would recommend it! I was able to get the feta-something-mushroom croissant warmed for lunch, which was pretty tasty. Nice flakiness and the middle with the filling was a nice mix. If you are stopping for lunch/breakfast and want something a little more substantial to your meal/snake then I recommend. They also had a ham-something-Jalapeño but I wasn't sure on how strong the pepper would be. Lastly, I had a matcha latte. It can come in a variety of sizes and I believe with the option of cold or hot. It was good-decent but not my favorite matcha-- the flavors were more milk heavy. The only issue that I had is when I mentioned I would be shipping the chocolates and I asked if they would ship well, the associates response was "yes they do". Then since the box did not fully close (and she saw me attempting to close it) she asked me if I would be shipping them and I said yes again. so now I have to ship a partially opened box of chocolates.
