Stopped by tonight for dinner. Not ever having been to a Bubba's 33 we didn't have huge expectations - and, we were pleasantly surprised. Well staffed with friendly & Attentive employees. We sat in the "garage" and Bryan was our server. He welcomed us as first timers & let us know about all the custom cocktails & scratch kitchen. We started with the Shotgun shrimp - they were super yummy! And then, shared the Avocado Bacon Chicken sandwich. The focaccia bread was delicious, soft, and a perfect blanket for the sandwich. Chicken was huge and cooked to perfection served with Crispy fries & a crunchy pickle. We not only were visited by one manager, Ariel, but, also Hope, who stopped by to ask how we were, thank us for coming to give them a try, and tell us about the restaurant and its upcoming specials. Alrighty. It's going to be a long one because I just want to be honest. I have been to the place more times than I can count and I will say that the food, for the most part, is very good. Their cheese fries and onion rings are so good. The wings are decent. The lasagna is great. The fish sandwich and shrimp po boy are, too. The fried shrimp and the sauce they put on it are addictive. The pizzas are just as good as any well known local place. The only negative I will say about this place is there is one manager that I have ZERO idea how he still works there. I have had two bad experiences with servers and the first time, I tried to rectify it with said manager, and he didn't give a flying you know what. I've watched this man's methods and he is just meh. He is always there but he needs to learn what true table touches are. Plus, going back to the same table over and over, but completely ignoring other tables that are OBVIOUSLY in need or may have a concern, is just poor FOH management. One time a couple months ago, I had an issue with quite a few things; the cheese fries were so greasy and tasted weird and I let them know and the server was just like, "yeah, the fries are greasy today.", I was told some very wrong information about menu options, and I really feel the food order wasn't entered for probably 45 min. I get it. It's easy to get in the weeds and forget an order, so I wasn't tripping that hard but the food quality was just not good that night. When we had been there for like an hour and twenty minutes and everyone that came after us had been served, I expected the food to be decent. After the wait and the other issues, I asked for a manager. I wasnt feeling much concern from the manager. He offered to fix the issue with the one food item that I was misinformed about but was going to charge me extra. I didn't care about the charge bc I was getting the food but it was a little off-putting. Well, when it was time to pay, the server and I could not get the payment to go through on the pay system at the table and I saw my total jump up mid transaction. I was getting upset and then the manager I had spoken to came out, gave us a new ticket on which he'd comped a few things AND gave me a coupon for the next time. I told him I appreciated the comps bc we frequent the place and don't want to stop going but the coupon ($30 value) was too much. He insisted. I walked out of there surprised at the effort the manager made bc I didn't expect him to give us a second thought. I called after we left and thanked him and asked that the server not be reprimanded bc she was new and I didn't know that anything that happened was really her fault. He assured me she wouldn't and that was that. We have been back probably 3 times since and there have been zero complaints. Our server last time was Emme (spelling?) and she was a doll and never missed a beat. We will continue to go back bc the environment is fun, food is great, and there are managers that will try to fix things when it goes wrong. read more

This is our go to pizza place! We love the Dickies Vs and the Deluxe Pizzas but they also have some delicious salads, my favorite is the kale, which is like a dessert! My uncle always orders the wings and they even have the queso dip. Always great service and the atmosphere is fun! read more

I give this place a 5 stars. Not only is the food great but the customer service is amazing. The manager here right now is overall just top notch, she came and greeted us at our table because it was our first time coming in and was just so kind. The food was so gooooooood. We got the shrimp as an appetizer and it had the shredded potato chips with it that paired so well with the shrimp and sauce definitely recommend. The pizza I got was the bbq chicken and since it was Tuesday it was only 11.99 for a small pizza and let me tell you sooooooo good and the crust was some of the best crust I've ever had. My husband got the sunshine burger and it was cooked to perfection. He loved it and got sweet potato fries and loved those even more. The California Chicken Sandwich is BLAND AND DRY. I don't recall ever tasting chicken so tasteless. The fries and pickle spear were the most flavorful things I ate. Salt and ranch didn't even help that sandwich much. I didn't even eat all of it- and I don't waste food ! (Well tonight I did. I just couldn't persevere) The peach margarita was decent. Sweet. Not very much alcohol- but that's to be expected. Boneless buffalo wings were okay- nothing to rave over. The loaded fries were good, though. I would try those again ! Service was good. If you like tasty food is not the right place for you. The pizza that I ordered was literally from Ryan's or Golden corral buffet. The wings were mediocre. They were flimsy not crispy at all. I got a side of mac & cheese and it look like they made it in the morning very dry.The hamburger I had a patty of cream cheese. No seasoning what so ever . I definitely won't be back. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, olives, and jalapeños...not near enough toppings or sauce, however the crust was very good. The service was hit miss. What a great fine and a great place to eat. While the house is being built we were living in a hotel and tired of fast food. I'm always afraid of trying new places.
