Everytime I go to Bubba's, I get a bacon cheeseburger with mayo and fries. The burgers are huge, juicy, and have 2 patties. They also put like 2-3 pieces of good, thick bacon on your burger (not the flimsy kind that's see through.) The burger buns are also fresh and yummy. The fries are good as well. Horrible experience! Arrived at 9:30 thinking the place was open until 11 (google profile was incorrect). Upon being seated our server informed us they would be shutting the kitchen down in 30 mins, which was fine because we placed our order with our drink order. Before our food came out (before 10pm) our server told us they shut off and drinks (water, cokes, tea, etc)! How is that a thing? Your still severing good but can't bring any drinks to our table when our drinks were almost gone and not refilled a single time!!!!!??? We had to ask the server for silverware after the food came because that was "put away" already! We had beverage napkins to use as actual napkins. And to top all this off my daughter found a bug in her salad!!!!!!!!! We will NOT be back. read more

First time going to Bubba's 33 in Longview. We were seated almost immediately which was great but it was down hill from there. We sat at our table for 15 minutes without ever being acknowledged. In that time several servers were back and forth past our table and no one ever approached us. We finally asked a server if she was our server and she said no but would find out who was. Five minutes later she told us there was a mix up in assignments and our server would be with us shortly. Again 5 minutes later our server shows up. Very disappointing. Placed our order and the food was very good. We especially liked the pizza. Highly recommend it. However, a big part of any dining experience is the service you get and this service was very poor. We talked to the manager and he was apologetic and offered some swag which included a free appetizer on our next visit. Nice, but would have preferred good service from the start. This was a great lunch. Fried Pickles were good but slices...not spears= the best. We dipped these in "Bubba Sauce" which is a combo of BBQ sauce and mayo....this was better than the ranch with the pickles. We got the "Big 'Ol Onion Rings"...only 5 of these so not really enough but good batter and texture. We got 3 burgers between us... the Sunshine Burger, the Aloha Burger and the Spicy Habanero Burger. All 3 were god burgers with good meat. The Spicy Habanero was "hot" as advertised and the pineapple of the Aloha Burger was drowned out in everything else going on on that burger and the Sunshine Burger was quite good with its Bacon and Fried Egg although the egg could have been funnier. Atmosphere is fun and can be overwhelming with all the noise and TV's. But fun. Price can be under or over $15....however much you want seemingly. They have Diet Dr Pepper. My son looked on Yelp for a place to eat in Longview. After reading the reviews we decided to try Bubba's 33. And I am so glad we did. I had the classic cheeseburger, my son had the bacon cheeseburger, and my husband had the sunrise cheeseburger which had a fried egg and bacon. All of the burgers came it Bubba sauce and it was delicious! Isa was are server and she was awesome. Since it was our first time there she explained the menu and gave us a little history about the establishment. She was friendly, attentive, and an all around great server. There is such a wide variety of options to choose from. I have been to Bubba's 33 5-6 times and each time has been great. The staff is very friendly, cheerful and all around up beat. They have always accommodated any request or changes that I would like. Visiting Longview and was very excited to visit Bubba's 33. After being seated at a booth I noticed there was a lot of food on the floor which automatically made me not want to eat here but it was late so we stayed. I ordered the queso as an app and the tender/shrimp basket. It took a while for the queso to come out but that was ok. After a while someone, not our waitress, came to the table and stated they were out of mashed potatoes which was clearly a surprise to the waitress who had walked up. Again, understandable. I prefer Mac & cheese instead. After a longer wait the food finally came out. My waitress told me my tenders could be tossed in sauce but they weren't. My Mac & cheese never came out and when the waitress finally came back to the table I informed her. I was already done with my food and ready for the check. I've been back several times and I can report that the food is much improved. The shoestring fries are gone, thank goodness. The pizzas are good. The beer is ice cold. The burgers are better now, too. However, the only thing in the way of an extra star is this: the premium burger is made of 1/3 bacon. That's fine, if you like bacon. If you order a regular burger (as I have done), it's cooked on the same griddle as the bacon burger, so the bacon flavor tends to overwhelm a regular burger. read more

I loved it right off the back the place is surrounded by TVs on channels that helped set the mood . Idk) but I'm a former waitress at TRH and Copland's and there was a lot of great staff from those and surrounding restaurants there that night! Shout out to (Rachel K. Bubba's in Longview, TX is a great place to eat. I was alone and got a recommendation to try their ribeye. They had no problem seating me in a booth even though I was alone on a busy night. I was not disappointed. It was cooked exactly as requested with a delicious side of garlic mashed potatoes and a house salad. The staff was fantastic and didn't rush me, for which I was grateful. They have a decent selection of beer on tap, which came out to me quickly along with my salad. The one very minor nitpick I have is that the salad should have been served with the bigger cup of dressing from the outset, but my waitress asked if I needed more, so no harm done. If I'm ever back in Longview, I'll be back at Bubba's. read more

Usually have decent service.. got seated for an early dinner at around 5:30 pm and it was fairly empty When we arrived I figured we would get good and fast service. Instead we sat we got seated and waited for around 15-20 minutes and didn't even get a greet from our server or drinks or order taken. Saw about 2-5 people who came in 5-10 minutes after us who already received their drinks and appetizers. What's the most sad thing about this we had constant staff walk past us within the time we sat there... and no, we weren't sitting in a odd corner we were literally right in the front middle of the dining area. Just went next door to Red Robin's since it was near and we already wasted half an hour of time... we had great service and server was there within a minute or less. Ok so here goes. The environment is great looked really clean and fun! It was freezing lol waitress was really sweet named Georgia Hubby ordered a sunshine burger and I ordered classic burger. I asked for no sauce and very well done. Because I can't handle pink. She switched to a burger patti with out bacon so it would get well done. Anyways fries were amazing pickle was good but when our food came out my burger had sauce and was extremely pink. So she sent it back. When it came back it was cooked right then. We ate and we're good. Hubby said his burger was even little Pinker than he liked but he was able to eat it. We sent her off with our card to pay and manager stopped by and we told her of our issues and we talked about what to try next. Told her how the fries were good enough to come back for so I'd try chicken strips next or pizza. She said either were great and to definitely give them another chance. When they brought the receipt to sign the manager had been so very nice to takey meal off!!!!! We absolutely didn't expect that because in the end we both got fed and not hungry.
