Really enjoyed our first time at Bubba's 33. Kennidee was absolutely fantastic. Great service and very friendly! She's a great asset. We were at a different restaurant last night that is very popular in Texas and Kennidee would school them and run circles around them. Gave it 4 instead of 5 as my salmon was a bit over cooked, but it was still good. My wife got the California Chicken and she loved it. I tasted it too and it was delicious. The kids got a hamburger and the chicken strips. They devoured them. Their favorite part was the fries. They both said they are the best fries ever. We are visiting Longview for a few days and the kids want to come back tomorrow. That is a very good possibility- we shall see... read more

Arriving at 6:30PM on a Tuesday evening we were seated immediately. Our server, Emma, appeared shortly. We explained that we needed more time since this was our first visit. Since pizza was on special, we tried one since it has been a long time since our last one. Emma stopped by the table a couple of times as we waited for our food. When it arrived, my only critique was that the crust was thinner than expected, but this was mentioned in some of reviews that I had read when deciding where we were going that evening. The parking lot was full but the restaurant was not. My wife and I were happy that none of youngsters and babies present were misbehaving. We were surprised when a lady left with her small dog on a leash. This is definitely a family restaurant. We were visited by two managers, and given small gifts. We definitely will go back again. Promptly greeted in an energetic and friendly manner. First thing I noticed was this place has more tv monitors than mission control at Kennedy. Enter my server, Sabra, a delightful young woman who took my drink order after answering a few questions related to mixed drinks. She returned with my drinks and took my order. I'll call it the Bacon Volcano. Solid 1/4 inch thick slices (about 5) after cooking, candied, and served over some type of hybrid potato chip nibblet thingy's. This was amazing. You get two dipping sauces. One is a Asian flavored sauce slightly sweet and killer flavor, the other was honey mustard. I got a salad wedge for a meal. Now what made this experience 4.5 stars was my server. Friendly, knowledgeable, customer focused, and efficient. The burgers and other food looked fantastic. One more night in Longview and I'll be spending it with them tomorrow night. Great job Sabra, great job Bubba's 33! I've been here 5 days and this is my far my favorite dining experience in Longview. We usually enjoy Bubba's but tonight was an absolute disaster of a night. The hostess looked at us on 4 occasions as we stood at the counter and never spoke a word or even acknowledged that we were there. We were finally seated by a manager. We ordered drinks, I got a blue ocean, as I usually do, it was horrible. I have had straight lemon juice that wasn't as sour! We ordered food and waited, waited and waited a little longer. My boyfriend had a sunshine burger with cheese tots. I ordered cheese tots and a cup of chili. His egg was far from cooked correctly and the bacon was over the top salty. Our tots were burned and my chili was greasier than the fryers. The server was nice enough when she came around but catching her was next to impossible. When she was taking the drink that was nasty, she spilled it all over the floor. Surprisingly, nobody ever cleaned it up. We finished our meal as best we could. I left 80% of my food. It was a terrible experience that has turned us away from Bubba's. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever. Waitress was rude from the get go. We finally requested a new waitress and a manager. Manager proceeded to tell us that she was a good waitress and that she could say sorry but it wouldn't do anything. Finally got a new waitress but the old one kept coming to the table and instigating an argument. When we finally told the waitress that she was being unprofessional she responded with "this is my table, if you don't want me as the waitress you can move F*****g tables". Never in my life have I felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. Worst service EVER! read more

One of my favorite places in Longview. The menu is so big and filled with great varieties that I have a hard time choosing what to order! Definitely not a bad problem to have. It's always very crowded but the service is amazing. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu read more

Omg. Where do I begin.... So let me say this the server Connor was AWESOME! He definitely has great hospitality. He is a golden assest to the company. Not to mention the management was just as AWESOME! I've been to Bubba's in Waco so I pretty much knew what to expect. Good food, tons of TV's and loud. As far as the atmosphere, this place borders on sensory overload. But I guess if you're going to have a sports bar, you ought to have a TV in every square inch of available space. I actually enjoy the old school music videos. Don't see those much anymore. The food was good. I liked my cheeseburger and the French fries were outstanding. My wife liked her food as well. The service was okay but a little uneven. Our waitress would be gone for long stretches and then when she came back, it was like she was rushing us to get out. Good selection of beers and drinks, wide variety of menu options, the food tastes good, and plenty of screens to look at in case your dinner company is boring. I went here as a last minute decision to catch the end of a college game and grab a bite with a friend. He ordered fish and chips and I ordered what was supposed to be "grilled" shrimp, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Long story short...10 mins later someone came to the table and said they were out of fish, so he needed to order something else...he went with a safe option of chicken tenders. He said it was ok and freshly cooked, but he could've went to a regular chicken spot and got them better. I'll just post a pic of my shrimp cause there was NOTHING good to say about them...they butterflied the shrimp...grilled shrimp! Never heard of such smh. The broccoli was severely overcooked and brown. The only thing I attempted to eat was the mash. I sent it all back but the mash. I will NEVER come back here for food! Ate here with some family Sunday night and was definitely impressed with the food quality. Everything tasted delicious. Waitress was very nice. Always checked up on us. The only thing I didn't care for was how loud it was in this place ( football Sunday ) everyone yelling etc. I couldn't even hear my sister talk who was sitting directly in front of me. Good burgers for the price. Burgers are very messy to eat, so get a fork to be on the safe side. Cajun fries are super good. Chicken strips and shrimp are outstanding. We came to Longview, Tx for the day. We decided to eat here. I'm glad we did. It has a great atmosphere with T.V.'s everywhere. I was able to watch gymnastics and my husband enjoyed Chive TV. Visited for lunch Saturday, January 18 2020. We were greeted promptly at the bar, where we always sit. Drinks came quickly however my tall Michalob Ultra came dressed with salt and lime. Weird but I was willing to drink it anyway. What is so hard about a draft beer? The bartender then disappeared mentally. She was there but was just standing around. I flagged the young lady mixing drinks, who was very busy, to order the onion rings appetizer. The wait seemed long but we were not in a hurry. I did however want a glass of water since my beer was almost gone and no appetizers yet. I managed to get the lost bartenders attention and requested ONE water. Water never came, the onion rings never came. I tossed a fold of cash I had (about $15) onto the bar and we left. Now we were short on time and had not eaten.
