While in town for work, I stopped by Jucys for breakfast, and their breakfast bowl absolutely hit the spot. I had zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised! I got a side of fruit too, which was mostly grapes, so not very memorable. They had two choices for bottomless coffee: classic blend, and Texas pecan. I chose the latter and it was fantastic. I will definitely stop by again next time I visit Longview! read more

Burger Exploits, East Texas Edition! So Brandon and I are on a quest to discover and digest the greatest burgers in the Lone Star State. Our quest is, shall we say, in the early stages. But we're on our way. LOL And this weekend we Austinites find ourselves in East Texas, so of course we had to hunt down (read: Google) lists of reliably tasty burgers in the local area. One of the named offerings was Jucy's in Longview, which also happened to be a super convenient one-mile drive from our hotel! As soon as we rolled into town, hungry and stiff-legged, we headed there! Brandon got his fave: a simple bacon cheeseburger with mayo. I got the cheeseburger sans bacon, but otherwise all-the-way. We were both absolutely delighted.  Keywords here: FRESH. JUICY. CLEAN. The patties at Jucy's are the stars of the show. The buns are fluffy and good. Solid! The veggies are absolutely high-quality. (They dice the onions, rather that slice them, which I prefer.)  But the standout part of the burger is the beef patty. It's so fresh, and so juicy, that you know you're eating quality. And they melt the cheese on the patty just right. A+ burger in my humble opinion Now my take, the above is pretty much on point. The patty was amazing. The bun fresh and soft. The bacon which was the big difference on mine was crisp and good. The employees were friendly and one lady even came and made sure our ketchup bottle was full! They have one of the touch screen drink machines that allow tons of options on drinks. Some TVs around playing various sports or in this case draft news. The fries were well seasoned and tasty. Shana liked them more then I did but they were really good. You order at the counter then they give you a paging device. You go get your food when it buzzes. You don't see this much anymore but were all the rage for a short time. They do have sandwiches, salads, and beans for some reason if you want options for food or sides. This place is one of the few places that makes homemade biscuits and they're absolutely delicious. I get the ham, egg, and cheese biscuit for breakfast and you can see a real egg in it with a thick piece of ham. It's fantastic! read more

Well I use to love eating here when visiting Longview, but the restaurant was dirty. The floors needed to be swept, the tables were dirty and the booths were dirty as well. The young man taking our order was new. He did a good job with taking my order and getting it correct. Nobody welcomed us when we walked in. It's not like they were busy. They only had 3 other people in the restaurant. My order got overlooked. Several people who had big orders that cane in after me and ordered got there food before me. I was told he didn't realize my order was up. The hamburger was ok. I've had better and the onion rings were just ok. I was disappointed in my visit this time. read more

This has to be one of the worst ran Jucy's Hamburger in East Texas. The majority of the time it is a surprise when you place an order on what you get. I ordered a Cowboy grilled chicken salad. It looks like whoever made it was mad at somebody, because my chicken was ripped apart instead of cut up. And, the avocados were basically rotten in multiple spots. Now I know they saw that, but still put it on my salad. Why?!! Then I guess the tomatoes were mad at everybody cuz they weren't nowhere to be seen on the salad at all. And of all things....how you going to give somebody a salad without any dressin. Come on now!! But I will take a little ownership for rushing because I was at work and needed to get back and didn't go through my order with a fine tooth comb. read more

Always enjoy Jucys. We were visiting family & stopped in. Unfortunately we don't have them in Houston. They don't disappoint.

The burgers, fries and fried pickles were delicious! We took our order to go and on the way out someone suggested the beans and cornbread. We will be back for those! Service was also fast and friendly! We were helped as soon as we walked in the door. Restaurant was clean and well lit. We would have sat and ate there, but we had our dog in the car. read more

I always go to Jucy's when visiting family in Longview. It is clean, fast, and the burgers are outstanding. The only downside is that the fries are greasy and not crispy. However, if you order the tots or onion rings instead, problem solved. Will be back again! read more

I love to order the BLT and fries at Jucy's and get their complimentary beans. The bacon is so crispy and they give you a generous amount as well. I love their fries too. Those beans I have never had a bad experience at Jucy's and the employees ate always very friendly and helpful. It is always very clean including the restroom. That speaks volumes to me. read more

My all time favorite burger in Longview . The meat is always delicious. I love the fresh buns , but sometimes like to pretend to be healthy and do the lettuce burger and it is equally delicious. Place was highly recommended. Not the best not the worst. Manager would not change the channel on one of the 6 TV's. There may be a limitation to only ESPN do not know. Burger was juicy see photo. Other than being over done it tasted good. The lettuce tomatoes and pickles were fresh. I would give more stars if the patty was juicy. read more

Stopped in Saturday around 5 after a little shopping. I ordered fries extra crispy. Young man taking order DID put it in computer. When food was ready, fries not crispy-he sent them back & said he would bring me new ones. It got busy. We finished our meal & no fries. I told the young man & he requested my fries from manager. She brought them out (we were waiting on to-go order) & basically tossed tray onto table, said nothing. Not even "sorry." Pretty poor customer service on her part. Burger was really good. I am not a Christian and in fact am opposed to all religions so I really think it's awful that I have to be subjected to Christian rock on their sound system. I come here to eat not to be preached to. I come to Jucys because the food is good but please know that not everyone believes the things you do and I don't want to be exposed to not only religious indoctrination but plain bad music because Christian rock is just bad songwriting period. I can only give them 2 stars for now. I went through the drive-thru since I had to quickly drive to Shreveport and catch a flight. My order was just over $18 for a super burger with bacon, fries and large tea. The bag was heavy so I didn't think anything of it. I started eating my fries since they're easy to grab while driving. By the time I got to the interstate, I realized there was no burger in my to-go bag!!! I couldn't turn around and lose 20+ mins, since I'd probably miss my flight, so I kept driving. I must say the unsalted fries and pinto beans were very good on an empty stomach. The few pinto beans I was able to eat, since they also didnt provide a spoon either. Decided to give their breakfast a try and it was a hit! My kids loved the chicken and waffles. The waffles are the perfect balance of light, and fluffy with a subtle sweetness. When it comes to lunch or dinner: The hamburger salad with the jalapeño ranch is my go to meal. It's so amazing! read more

Burger was pretty good although it's kind of bland. Bun was nice and soft. Onion rings were crispy, but fries were pretty bad (seemed like they had been there for awhile and weren't crisp at all). Kinda Torn between 3 & 4 stars, here's why... The burger choices are insane and all are equally good, not delicious!! Insane because of the different choices but the meat wasn't very flavorful, until I added Lawrys seasoning salt (home spices).. and the French Fries being natural cut fries... lack seasoning, tasted bland (again added lawrys seasoning salt) and they were awesome!!! I ordered the Blue cheese burger... Perfectly crafted and the bun was awesome! It probably weighed 3lbs total... Came in plain white styrofoam , no Jucy's label, sticker or packaging. Which to me is not professional unless say you got a food truck and you're cost cutting. The firs came in a boat with the same concern, as the white bag. Nothing screams advertising more than, seeing a burger place where advertising would make me say.." he's got a Juicy's burger, I'm going there for breakfast/lunch or dinner... Not sure where they hire the help but somebody needs to shop their own service . We ordered on line , waited the appropriate amount of time , called in when we got to the pickup lot , waited 45 minutes for our order, Called again and was told oh sorry, somebody put it back, they brought it out cold and soggy . Solid tasty burger consistently. Fries are good. Not real crispy but fresh. Overall decent burger for the price. Also customer service is usually excellent. Recently did an app order for GIlmer road. The app sent it to Eastman road location. GIlmer road staff redid my entire order rather than send me cross town for a cold burger. No extra charge. This is excellent customer service. The burger IS good, but greasy. I ordered on a Monday at around 8:15/20. I got the patty melt and a fry. Got to the window and asked how much would it be to make a meal, because it might be cheaper- or right at the same price. She told me they don't do meals. I paid my $9 plus and waited for my meal. I turned the engine off because it was taking a little time to prepare- it's not "McDonald's quick" Anyway- I got my meal and checked it. The toast that the patty melt came on was a little more black than I'm used to. The Tops and bottoms. I almost drove back around but it would've taken too long. Surprisingly, I didn't taste the burnt toast. The burger is good and thick. If comes with cheese and grilled onion. The fries, which were $1.99, were not good to me, so I will be saving money in that area. I will be back, but I will try another Jucys in the area to see if they won't burn my toast. read more

This place definitely has a devoted local following. I was in town on a Friday evening and stopped in for a meal. The place was packed with locals of all ages and walks of life. Everyone was friendly. The good: The buns were on point. They give out free beans with every meal. I didn't have any, but they looked pretty good. My daughter said her burger was terrific. The staff obviously cares about what they do, and the place seems to be run properly. The bad: I hated the fries. They are hand-cut and have the skins intact. It must take forever to cut those fries, and this may be one of those rare cases where investing more time and work into something does not result in a better product. Old fashioned burgers and friendly service! Came in during lunch rush, unlike most places, they had plenty of people at the front counter taking orders. Good start. Tried this beast called Cowboy Melt. Texas Toast, two 1/4 pound hamburger patties, cheeses, honey mustard and served with two large and long toothpicks holding it up. Drizzled with BBQ sauce, this IS DIFFERENT! Sides were a small fries and beans. Beans are complimentary when dining in. They were excellent! Did not need the fries. Portion was huge on the small fries. Could not finish the fries which are the homestyle type. Good fries, not too greasy or soggy. Sweet tea which was just right not syrupy sweet.
