Cute little unexpected spot inside a gas station. The fried green tomatoes were spot on and the dining area was clean. I was kind of disappointed with my lunch. I ordered the nanny club with onion rings, but what I got was a small grilled cheese sandwich with a thin slice of ham and turkey lunchmeat and a slice of bacon. The onion rings were obviously frozen and greasy. Next time I come, if I do, I will get one of their salads or a hamburger which looked amazing. read more

Just a heads up it is inside the 7-Eleven. The atmosphere is a gas station with a few tables on the side for the diners. The people are really nice and do not rush which was awesome. The food however was nothing special the eggs were dry and the gravy for biscuits didn't really have any flavor. The potatoes had a tad too much pepper for my taste but for someone who really enjoys pepper they might love them. I don't really think it would be my first choice for a future breakfast place and I would try somewhere else. But, if You're just starving and They're one of the only places open they'll do. read more

We had lunch here while visiting Longview for work. For a place that has a four star review average, I certainly had much higher expectations. I had the caesar salad with chicken, while my husband had the chicken salad sandwich. Both things were underwhelming. My favorite thing was the little cornbread muffin that came with it, but the rest of the food was very forgettable. Also, I was slightly bothered by the plastic cutlery - I think I may have enjoyed my meal more with real silverware. It is pretty much a self-serve place, but the ladies at the register were friendly, so they deserve a mention. Needless to say, I will not be back. read more

I've been here twice in the last two years. It's not great, but it's not bad. I tried the rubenette and chicken salad sandwich today. It was certainly fresh. The Ruben had coleslaw on it, which was not a good combo. The pickle "spears" with the sandwiches were sweet slices of pickle. Chicken salad was very mushy and tasted bland. Very expensive and sad sandwiches. Went to late lunch on 12/30/25 just before closing around 3pm. Grilled cheese and a burger. Grilled cheese had hardly any cheese and was barely cooked. They didn't even bother to melt the cheese on the burger. It was actually brought out cold. I know they were probably about to close up. But $34 including tip for something worse than what my college roommate would have made? And my college roommate thought cooking was microwaving water...... If you want to close up early, then do so. What a fun stop on our way back to Ft. Worth from Shreveport! I was craving a good salad and they delivered. The rest of the family had sandwiches that were super good. Mom had a chicken wrap that was big and good with fresh veggies. Service? Excellent in my opinion. Super patient and friendly. I might also add they also have casseroles to go. We didn't get one, but I met someone there with a bag full who was delighted to have dinner taken care of. Yep, it's inside the 7-11 but don't let that keep you away. Worth the side trip. read more

Spending a long weekend in Longview, Tx and we wanted to try something different for breakfast. A cafe at a gas station fit the bill so we went in. The menu is written up on the wall above the counter where you order and there are quite a few options. Unfortunately, they stop serving breakfast at 10:30 on Saturday and it was about 10:40. So, lunch it was! Our group ordered the chicken sandwich - a thick chicken breast, lettuce and tomato on a square, yummy bun served with fries, an Italian press sandwich on focaccia with chips and the turkey and Swiss on wheat with chips. They all came with mini banana nut muffins and pickles. Now, I don't usually eat the pickles that are served with sandwiches, but these had a very good and unusual flavor. They were somewhere between dill and sweet. Loved them. All the sandwiches were served in pie tins. What a great idea! They have a large seating area and a big selection of drinks. This place was definitely not what I would have expected looking at it from the outside, but because yelpers seemed to like it, we gave it a try. Glad we did. read more

Love this place! It's a perfect stop off if I-20 between Dallas and Shreveport. Don't be deceived by the fact they share a space with a 7-11. I'd go for the orange muffins alone. They are SO yummy. We've only visited for breakfast and the food had always been super. (They have a very wide variety of deli options as well.) The breakfast sandwiches are huge, and full of fresh flavor. I had avocado on mine, and it was perfectly ripe. And I liked how the toast wasn't drowning in butter. They have a nice seating section, and I'm sure would be great for families. The service was very professional and we were greeted as soon as we arrived. They also (genuinely) thanked us for visiting when we left. Very hospitable! read more

There's only a few places in town restaurant wise that I walk in and feel judged by every other customer there and like I'm an inconvenience to the employees. This is one of them. We were confused because we thought it was just a gas station but it is SO cute inside! Everything on the menu is excellent and it was brought out to us very quickly by the friendly staff.
