Yes! Tempted to give the full five stars but I've only been once. So the burgers? Amazing. Some of my favorite in the city. At $9 it's legit. Did you know they put bacon into their ground beef, and then that's the burgers? I got the California burger with the bacon-beef burger with bacon on it (!!) and guacamole. Dang. Even the bun is buttered and toasted. Yeah, I bet it's a 1000 calories, but it's so tasty. My partner got the pepperoni pizza. They brag about their pizzas but I'm not sure what he thought. It looked like a basic greasy pepperoni pizza....but people love them, so looks possibly aren't everything! And the fries? Omg why isn't my stomach able to eat all the things! Very tasty. The 'Murrica margarita is quite large (couldn't finish) and has some kick to it, on top of being super pretty with red white and blue. It's very sour, however, so not everyone will like it. Family friendly sports bar feel. Garage type atmosphere with excellent service. This was our first time at Bubba's 33, we will definitely be back. It was really hard to chose from the menu. My girlfriend and I both ordered Bacon Burgers with Fries, which was an excellent choice. The server was very attentive and quick with serving food. One downfall was the level of music, we were able to keep conversation but we did find ourselves wishing it was a tad lower on the level of music. Overall, excellent service and experience. I am not sure why this location has such a low rating. We've been here twice and the food was absolutely delicious. My hubby had the lasagna. For a non-italian restaurant, he said it was very good. And he is quite the lasagna connoisseur. I had California chicken the first time and the Philly cheese steak sandwich the second time. They were very good. I tried to find something wrong with the experience because I just don't give 5s often on here. But I could not. Wait staff was excellent, food was delicious. Wait time for food was minimal. i went there a couple months ago and stood waiting to be acknowledged with three of the staff there doing who knows what they were doing and so a small group of maybe 6 people walked in behind us and walked around us and went in the bar snd nothing was said to them so I went on into the bar and then these hostesses come in to tell us we can't sit in in the bar that the table was reserved but no reserved sign or any acknowledgment before or anything! We love Bubbas 33! We frequently come here on Mondays / Tuesdays as they do a burger special on Mondays and a pizza special on Tuesdays! I only recently discovered they are owned by the same company as Texas Roadhouse (which makes sense). The shotgun wings here are amazing, along with the $4 margs, and onion rings. THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND IS DIRTY!!! NEVER GO HERE!!! This place is disgusting. The bathrooms are always trashed they never have toilet paper there's piss always all over the floor. Anytime you tell anyone how disgusting they are they just say okay and do nothing about it. There's a sewage leak in the family bathroom and it's impossible to walk in it smells so bad. I've walked in and passed the kitchen and heard the dirtiest music like "pop your pussy" while a male manager twerked on employees encouraging them to join him while any guest walking by could see. I've heard managers talk poorly about hard working employees in front of guests. Roaches have been found in food and I've seen them in the dining room. I've seen them kill roaches and try to hide it. This place is infested. It's disgusting. These people treat their staff like shit. The managers are rude and unprofessional. I avoided this place for years because my perception of a place named Bubba's was not what this turned out to be. It's an extremely family friendly restaurant. Wall to wall TVs and the music is always mid-'90s "something". The food is not particularly notable but, again, it is very kid friendly. Not too many places can knock out a perfect grilled cheese and then turn around and make a 5 star steak. Draft beer and cider selection is always decent and they do a nice job of making sure local stuff is well represented. Prices for food and drink are on the affordable side which is a big plus. read more

i've been here many times and i never have a problem with the food or the service. I applied to work as a busser and went in for an interview where i sat for over an hour before leaving and calling the restaurant. i was told that they forgot about me and i could come in the next day. I did and i started to go through the hiring process. after speaking with the managers we worked out a schedule that would work well with me and them. on my first training day the general manager got mad when i told her i talked with the other managers about my schedule and she completely changed everything about the schedule i had already had. i ended up leaving due to the VERY poor management. the managers do not communicate with eachother and the general manager has a very short temper. do not recommend to work at this location. read more

Food was great, but as someone who is also in the service industry and has to wear a mask 8+ hours a day I was very disappointed in my waitress for not wearing hers properly. We're all in this together, the longer we all abide by the law by wearing masks correctly, the less time we will be forced to wear them. Arrived for dinner and business was not very busy. We each ordered a steak. After awhile, we began to wonder about our salads, but ou server never came by. Finally, another employee brought out our steaks. We questioned what happened to our salads. She offered to bring some out. We explained we didn't need them since our steaks was on the table. Our server came by and also offered to bring us salads or box them up to go. I requested just deduct cost of salads from bill. She wouldn't do it. The manager came by and offered an appetizer. Why an appetizer after we had almost finished our meal. Manager also refused to deduct salad. On menu salads are listed as a side for $4.49 each. Manager said our meal was a package deal and wouldn't reimburse. So for $8.98, they lost a customer who will not return. read more

We were initially excited to try this place. The husband is a beer snob, so he was looking forward to the options. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday with our 5yo while our 7yo was in the area for a birthday party. On the downside there is no caesar salad. No applesauce or fruit options for the kids sides. The waitress recommended the burger, which has bacon mixed in. My husband decided to try it, but she neglected to mention there is onion bits mixed in too. He took one bite and was done. Being first time to eat at Bubba's 33 and knowing nothing about it hostess took time to explain the restaurant and what their known for specialty's are. Waitress also took time to ask if I'd eaten here before and took time to explain the restaurant as well as quick to take order as well as giving me time to look over the menu as I needed. Food was excellent served quickly to the booth while still hot! Checked back often as did the other staff making sure everything was as order and seeing if I needed anything. Tonight we decided to visit Bubba's33 in Greenwood for dinner. We have patronized this restaurant many times and have enjoyed our meals here very much but something changed tonight. We arrived at 6:00pm and were promptly seated. Then we waited...& waited for a server to take our drink & food order. After 15 minutes we decided to leave and find another restaurant. In the many times we've patronized this Bubba's 33 location, we have never experienced such inattentive service at this restaurant. It really put us off as we have enjoyed so many games is meals there but it sad as now it has instilled some distrust. This is our 3rd visit to Bubba's and we just can't get enough of this place! We love the atmosphere and the food. The menu is fairly diverse with the usual categories like pizza, protein topped meal sized salads, incredible hamburgers with in-house fresh ground beef, sandwiches like the shrimp po' boy that we are having again tonight. Speaking of shrimp...the shrimp in their po' boys are not some heavily breaded, miniscule shrimp! These are lovely, meaty, good sized shrimp. You HAVE to try this sandwich! Seriously. We love their corkscrew mozzarella cheese sticks, their warm chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream dessert is the bomb! Everything is made from scratch and just beats similar style restaurants that often seem to just reheat some frozen, pre-made thing. We stopped by on a lazy Sunday afternoon because we wanted to go somewhere we'd never been. We'll be back for sure. The menu definitely stands out because it has everything- healthy salads and entrees (with calorie counts!), pizza, burgers, wings... ordinarily that's a red flag for me, but our food was outstanding. Our picky little boy loved the pizza (the dough is perfect), our daughter enjoyed the basic kids' hot dog, and my wings were really good. I ordered them extra crispy with habanero heat, which was the right level of spicy for me. I could still taste my food, but it still had a good burn. I also had the fire fries, which are straight cut fries with a heavy hand of spices- much like cajun fries. The real winner, though, was my husband's guacamole bacon grind burger. Whoever thought to grind bacon into burgers is a genius. He also got a side salad, which comes covered in potato straws. The atmosphere is just a fun sports bar- lots of tvs playing sports and prank videos and memorabilia from local high schools and colleges. I enjoyed the choice in background music, which was a basic mix of pop country. The owners give proceeds of certain items to veterans' groups. Pickup orders seemed well organized with clearly marked parking. I had to knock off a star for the service, which wasn't terrible, but definitely not great. Our server had no idea what was on draft (and the draft list wasn't right), so our beer selections took awhile. She didn't check on refills, and brought the check without seeing if we wanted another drink or dessert (okay because we didn't, but strange). All in all, we'll probably be here somewhat regularly. It's a bit of a drive for us, but the food is definitely a step up from most places in the area. read more

After several visits this has become one of my favorite restaurants to visit in Indianapolis. I've tried several dishes from their menu and so far their double bacon chicken and country fried steak have been my favorites so far. Well, those dishes and their Queso and Salsa dips as an appetizer. I haven't tried any of their pizzas yet, but I will do that on my next visit. Also to be liked at this restaurant is the very good service and the oh so cold and refreshing beers. They do have a very good selection of local and national brands. It's hard to believe this used to be a shoe store. I also can't believe that they're rockin out to some 80s music! We arrived on a Monday, two minutes after they opened. Which or course meant we were seated right away. Our server arrived immediately and took our drink order. When she brought our drinks she explained the menu to us as we've never been here before. The odd thing was instead of asking to start with an appetizer she just walked away. She came back a few minutes later and took our appetizer and main course order. While she was away I took a look around and found the place to be very clean. A few moments later our appetizer came out. We chose the fried pickles. They were excellent! They were fried up, perfectly. There were none missing batter, and they weren't overdone to where the pickles were dried out. They come with ranch and "bubba" sauce to dip them in. There is a perfect amount of seasoning which gives them a little kick without being too much. Our burgers came out a very short time after we finished the pickles. We both ended up getting the Sunshine burger. The burger's are ground up on location when they're ordered...and several burgers are made up of 33% bacon...which this burger is. This particular burger also comes with a fried egg on top, which can either be sunny side up, or hard over. The burger has great flavor and texture. The beef patty is large and the toppings are plentiful and make this burger a great value. The shoestring fries are delicious as well. Good flavor and cooked well. I didn't look at the end of the meal if they offered dessert, but since I was full I didn't want it even if they did. Our sever when she brought the check also brought us to-go cups even without us asking her. I thought that was very nice. The service overall was very good. Our server was friendly and checked on us often. Even the people at the door were nice. This place far exceeded my expectations and I am sure I will be back again. Last night was our second visit. Love the atmosphere. If you are wanting a place to watch a game, this is definitely the place. Their signature bubba sauce is so good! We've tried it when it was served with their fried pickles. Those are good but I prefer when the pickle slices are a bit thicker. Had fish and chips last night. It came with three big pieces of thick fish. Really good. This isn't a place I would pick if I had a choice as their menu isn't very large. I had been eating dairy and wheat free, and only option would have been the wings, unless I wanted to make changes to their meals and even then, I'd been really changing. So I gave up and ate a little of breading and then picked it away and ate fish. And since I was already cheating I enjoyed the pickles too read more

If this place had better wait staff and over all service it would be 5 stars. The food is really good always was. I didn't go for about 2 years because everytime we went we had issues with service. We went again recently not much had changed. We got our initial drink. Waitress was missing in action. Got an appetizer had to ask that person for a refill. My husband was supposed to have salad it came out with the food. Again no waitress still by this point. She walked by the table multiple times refusing to even look at us while trying to get her attention. His food order was incorrect so had to asks someone else for help. She finally comes back I in a nice way told her I didn't appreciate her absence. She sent manager over. Manager takes our app off but there was drinks we didn't order on the revised bill. She redoes the bill again we notice something else wrong with bill she is getting annoyed at having to redo the bill again and again. I fail to see how this is our fault I won't pay for things I didn't ever have. She gave us a free burger coupon. Honestly I would rather pay for my food than have this kind of experience. Loved the burger and the fire fries I had. My 5yo and 8yo grandsons scarfed down the chicken and fries like it was their last meal. My wife liked it too so I'll be going back again.
