The hubby and I had a date night and tried out Bru Burger. Such a cute place with amazing food and service. Kinsey was our server and she was on point! Expresso martini was amazing, I had to stop at two because I was driving home. The three cheese & garlic burger was delicious and the hand breaded onion rings were huge and super tasty. The meal was finished with a kid size brownie that was fantastic! Great place with great food, I will definitely be back!

Clean, modern with a lot of burger choices. First time here. Waitress was friendly. My wife loves it and it's not her first time here.

It's a hybrid between a breakfast spot and a cigar lounge vibe. We digged it! After sitting down our very friendly waitress came over and took our order. We ordered the orange sunrise mocktail, a quinoa bowl, gluten free pancakes and the California club omelette. Everything was AMAZING. Not one thing was bad. The omelette was one of the best if not the best I've ever had. Stuffed FULL of all the mix ins and cheese with yummy breakfast potatoes. The star of the show was the gluten free pancakes. They were stellar!! Would highly recommend. This place is one of the easiest 5/5 I've ever given. 100% would recommend!!

The cocktail actually had some heat, and the glass was rimmed with Everything Bagel Seasoning. I'd never had that before. It was a tasty touch. The candied bacon garnish was divine. We ended up ordering a second round. The Jalapeño Deviled Eggs are outstanding. Smooth and creamy, topped with jalapeño and candied bacon. Every bite was a pleasure. For entrees, I got the Bourbon Jalapeño Shrimp. It had a light kick and tasted incredible. My husband ordered the Rise & Shine Chicken Biscuit. It was all tasty, but that biscuit was fluffy and salty, exactly how a good biscuit should be. Our server made the whole meal. She was friendly and patient with me even though I was having more trouble than usual deciding what to order. She also mixed our Bloody Marys, so she was working double duty and doing it well. The space strikes a balance between sophisticated and casual, so you can dress up or keep it relaxed and feel comfortable either way. We'll definitely be back!

Oh, there were several reasons we were raving about our experience at this cozy Greenwood bar. A…read morefew of them being... 1.) the atmosphere. This bar screams "crawl inside me, throw off your coat and stay awhile". The low lighting, exposed brick, local clientele and fun menu top it all off. 2.) For my fellow smokey cocktail drinkers: I recommend the Mexican Sunrise with grapefruit juice, Mezcal and a kick off spice. Note: they also have a decent selection of bourbons and local beer on tap and by the can. 3.) I can't stop thinking about the homemade ricotta bacon jam with sliced baguette. All thoughts of eating healthy were swept aside when this dish rolled out. "Healthy who?" 4.) I'm always advocating that beets could use more representation on menus (besides in salads...). If you're a fellow beet advocate, I'd give the pickled beets with whipped goat cheese and sliced almonds a try. 5.) Order the root veggies with browned butter and chimichurri - you can thank me later. 6.) The fact that Bar Rev is tucked in the back of Revery gives it this mysterious, secret club kind of vibe. Good news is, they allow newbies from Indy access ;) 7.) As for the classic question of parking. Easy peasy. You can find it in their private lot behind the bar or across the street in the bank lot during off hours.

It's hard to have every package to play every game. We could not listen to the screeching of the drama on the tv. I have never watched a game there and listened to it, there has always been background music playing. The atmosphere was a turn off for dinner. We cancelled our order. We will call before we come back.

New Chef. New Menu. New Concept. Time to update. We went to Up Cellar last night after an…read moreexhausting couple of days. We had a spectacular dinner at the hands of the new chef, Nicholas Murray. His concept is that starters and salads are meant to be shared. With the proteins, maybe not, although each was ample and could have been shared. We started with the Ahi Tuna Toast, Ahi Tuna on toast with heirloom tomatoes and fennel on a piece of sourdough toast. That was an excellent start to our dinner. Our other starter was a Stracciatella, orange supreme, candied pistachios, basil and olive oil panino. This, we thought, was an outstanding dish. Neither filled us so that we could not go on. We then moved to a caprese salad - unlike any caprese we had ever had. Again, heirloom tomatoes, pieces of mozzarella, pangrattato (a traditional Italian condiment made from breadcrumbs toasted in olive oil with garlic and herbs) basil and mixture of balsamic and soy. So delicious. From here, my spouse and I diverged. She ordered the half chicken. Chef Thomas Keller (famous for The French Laundry) believes that a properly roasted bird is a definitive benchmark for professional capability. The reason is because there is no place to hide. Achieving crispy golden skin with completely succulent, non-dry meat requires precise control over heat and timing. Chicken easily dries out and turns bland. My spouse's chicken WAS PERFECT! The skin was crispy but the meat was succulent, even the breast! Clearly, Chef Nick has mastered this deceptively simple dish. It was likely the best chicken we have had in a restaurant (or home). I ordered the trout (a butterflied rainbow trout) served over a white bean puree, butter beans and with an optional salsa verde. I opted against the salsa verde because the trout did not need it. Finally, a word about the desserts. I ordered something called "Liquid Nutella" served with a hazelnut crisp and an in-house vanilla gelato. Oh my. This dish was decadent and resembled most a molten lava chocolate cake. I am not ashamed to say that except for tastes I graciously gave my spouse, I at the whole thing! Chef Nick also urged that we try his key lime pie. We did, but given my predilection to hazelnuts and chocolate, the Liquid Nutella was my winner. Chef Nick has spent the last 20 or so years away from Indianapolis and its environs honing his skills at Beaker & Gray in Miami and Eleven Madison Park in NYC among other places. We are glad he has decided to come back home.

I honestly didn't think my husband would like it but he did. We also ordered their breadsticks and there were so good, we almost filled up on them. My husband got one of their own brewed beers and I got their most popular cocktail the Italian Mule, it was delicious too. I couldn't drink it all it was so potent. They have 2 different happy hours and I thought that was so nice. It saved us some money. To top it all off the waitress was superb! I will go back and try a different entree and drink. Online it says happy hour is all day Sunday and Monday-Saturday from 8-9pm. When we asked our waitress about it she said the website must be incorrect, even though it was listed on the Pizza and Libations website as all day happy hour on Sunday's. We ordered mozzarella sticks and a Spritz. I also ordered 2 beer samples to try before committing to a full sized beer pour. The spritz tasted watered down and had little to no flavor. Our mozzarella sticks came out in about 15 minutes. We received our mozzarella sticks before our drinks from the bar. After receiving our appetizer, we were still waiting on our drinks we ordered and had been waiting more than 30 minutes. There were multiple tables around us checking on their drinks and food because the wait was so long even though the restaurant wasn't even halfway full. There were only about 6 people sitting at the bar. Our mozzarella sticks were fresh and the hot honey drizzle was a good addition! They were pretty thick mozzarella sticks but reminded me of a higher end Arby's mozzarella stick. We ended up getting our check after my husband finally got his drink more than 30 minutes after ordering it. All in all, service was slow and the menus were not updated with correct pricing or specials. One menu stated a Coors Light was $6 while another said it was $7. Maybe it was an off night for them. The pizza looked very good and I would like to go back to give it another shot.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!
