Recently moved to the area and discovering the local food. Stopped here from coming back from a family function late Sunday night (have seen how busy it was from driving by other times). With lots of restaurants not offering dine in service because of the pandemic, I was happy to find this franchise open with spacious seating areas but only a modest sized crowd during my lunch. The place has lots of parking and plenty of room inside. The walls are covered with screens but most have the volume off so that the pleasant sounds from the house video channel can be heard without blasting too loud to block conversation. We were greeted and seated and had good service throughout our time there. My wife ordered a small bowl of chili (just a hint of spicy heat) and tater tots which she saved the leftovers for home. I looked over their beverages and ordered a local craft Lift Off by Daredevil brewing (on tap). I decided to go with a stacked high Wild Shroomin' Burger (1/2 pound) and got the seasoned shoestring style fries. So much that I ended up saving some for dinner that night. We both liked our meals and combined with the pleasant atmosphere inside and good service, we had a solid dining experience. Minimal wait times during our lunch. What a joke this place is now. Got seated after 15 min, our server that starts with the D talks way to much and told multiple jokes when he had multiple tables to tend to. After we placed our order he took 10 min to put them in because we were seated in from of the server kiosk. 25 min later the salads came which I had to find him for the dressing for the Salad. 5 min later our food came out and it was all cold. We asked to speak to the manager and she was no help. Had to ask the manager for a condiment and refill a water. The guy came at the end I told him I needed another water and he totally forgot about me. His excuse was he has been there all day and he has been so busy. Was out shopping with a few ladies and we decided to stop for lunch and decided to eat here. I had never been here so I really didn't know what type of food they served. But very excited about the menu because I am a snacker and they had snacking food or what I call a snacker. Wings, burgers, sandwiches, etc. I decided on a buffalo chicken sandwich with tator tots. When they bought it...they had butterflied my chicken breast so it was huge..but it was nicely battered and fried just right. Since it was so big I cut it in half and the piece I put on the bun was enough for a sandwich and the other part left was big enough for another sandwich I could eat another day. Also I had so many tator tots it was enough left for another meal. Our waitress was nice and very prompt to our needs. Two ladies in our party and gotten burgers and after she took the order I asked them if she had asked how did you want your burger..she said no. Sooo when their burgers came my friend had to send hers back because it was too pink in the middle for her. Overall it's a nice place to go for any occasion, also the menu is priced very reasonable. I will go again because they have so many selections as you can tell by the menu I posted. Bubba's has plenty of parking and is a pretty huge restaurant with lots of menu options. I ordered a fruity lemonade alcoholic drink that was supposed to comw with fruit but when I recieved the drink ot came with no fruit. My server was efficient but didn't really come check on the table often. We ordered Shotgun sauced wings which were delicious but didn't receive any extra napkins or plates when they were delivered to the table and our server didn't come check on us till about 10 minutes later after they were consumed so I wasnt going to wait for her to get an extra plate or napkins. The wings were hot, juicy, and tasty. Shotgun sauce is a creamy sweet chili type sauce. I ordered the kale quinoa salad with Salmon. Everything on it was fresh and well balanced. My partner ordered a burger which he said came out luke warm, not hot and his fries were the same. He said it wasnt terrible though. Overall the experience was okay. read more

Currently been waiting to be served. While I see several people on phones and talking casually to other employees. Went to the restroom in the south of the building and there was piss and either blood or shit down the front of the toliet. I tried using all the hand sanitizer stations they had available and all where empty. When I asked the lady that sat us I was told they just hand limited sanitizer in the back only by a employee who was hanging around talking. It has been a long while since we were here last. Our last experience wasn't that great but we decided to give them another shot. Well, I had the Bacon guacamole burger and it was mouth watering good. I had also gotten a side of onion rings as well which were amazing. I live extremely close to this location. I supported the restaurant when they first opened, but unfortunately we weren't able to continue. My sister made me go to the Northside location, and I was extremely surprised! The food was really good! I had pizza and side salad with ranch, my husband had nachos, and everyone at our table of 10 was very happy with their food. So I decided to give them another try, at this Southside location, and I wish I hadn't. I ordered a small cheese pizza/extra cheese, my husband ordered nachos, and we got a side of queso tots. We ordered carry out. Maybe this was the mistake. The food was to be ready at 7:15. I arrived at 7:05, and checked in exactly how I was told and sent them a text "here". They said the food wasn't ready yet. Five minutes later they come out with my food. The paper bags that held the condiments and tots were soaked. When I got home I realized the food had been done for awhile. My major complaint is; if you tell me my food will be ready at 7:15, please don't have it ready at 7pm and let it sit, getting cold. Second, you cannot call them queso tots and only give a 1 ounce cheese cup. Third, I paid $2 extra dollars for extra cheese on the pizza, and I barely got enough cheese for a regular cheese pie. Fourth, and I don't even know how this is possible, but all the toppings on the nachos barely had any chips. The majority of the toppings were at the bottom of the pile of chips. I guess they dumped them in the Togo box upside down?! Fifth, the ranch is bottled. :( I do appreciate they had all the condiments correct. Too many bars within a three mile radius selling domestic beers way cheaper. And the garage door bar? Those doors are usually SHUT. Years ago they would be open more often than not. We had been searching for some good pizza and we finally found it here. The pizza is delicious crust is so good. Other stuff we tried was lagsania and the shrimp and chicken strip platter everything was very good. A must to try is their fried pickles omg so good they give u a dipping sauce along with that. We've have now gone back a second time can't get enough. We did take out which was great and easy didn't even have to get out of our car. We parked in the designated place and called to say we arrived. A girl came out with our total and she took our card to charge it then in a few minutes came out with our order. I gave this place a fourth try only because everyone I know enjoys it. To my disappointment I'll never be back. We our seated immediately witch was the best part of the whole evening 5:30 order appraisers loaded fry's and bang shrimp both out in 15 minutes. Shrimp was good with the sauce but replaced the cabbage with onion stings why? Main dishes were out after 15 minutes witch was great. Everything was hot. My drink was empty and my server looked directly at it and nodded. 15 minutes later I'm informed they were making fresh Tea I never got any offed to me finished my drinking water. Oh but I was charged $2.99 for my one cup. My fried shrimp was fine but how do you screw up fried shrimp. The sides were broccoli and Mac and cheese. The broccoli was two massive bushes the foliage was good but couldn't get down the roots. Every time we go the food is amazing and so are the employees. The manager Andy is so much fun and very friendly. We have a favorite server but found out she is not working Monday nights anymore but she (Kate) will still be there other nights. Don't get me wrong, the food and the waitress were great, but when 2 obvious senior citizens ask to NOT sit in the bar they mean it!!! My husband asked to have a table, not a booth because they are too hard to scoot in to and not to sit in the bar because of the noise. We were told 30-45 minutes, fine, it was busy, 50 minutes later after sitting on a hard wooden bench and seeing well over 100 people seated in the restaurant area, we were only offered a table in the bar!!! By this time we just wanted to eat, take our meds and go home!!! It's not fine dining... that said, it's delicious pub grub. Love the drink specials. Nice variety of drinks available and reasonably priced. Of course not very strong at all, but nice taste, voluminous and visually pleasing. I had the big salad, which was .... big... surprise. Very filling. I also had the shotgun shrimp and they were simply delish for lack of a better word. Nicely done. That tiny bit of crunch from the coating as you bite into the perfectly done shrimp. I have to praise this dish. So often shrimp are overdone in restaurants, but these were perfect. And the sauce has umpf without being the burning kind of spicy. So kudos on this dish. My daughter enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It looked awesome and she must have liked it, because she was way too busy stuffing her face to let me know what she thought. So why the 4 stars instead of 5? Service, it's sketchy at times. First of all, I'm ashamed that this is only my second visit ever. Second of all, my top five best burger joints in Indiana. For the quality, they sure bring the food out pretty quick. Also, the burgers are not perfectly shaped discs. (Which is a pet peeve of mine). By default, they are cooked medium well, which, I believe, should be the standard. The patties themselves are decadent, tender, flavorful and charred to perfection. Bubba's has officially raised the bar for "$10 burgers". So the food is outstanding but the service matches it as well. Our server was attentive but not hovering. My beer was cold and my food was hot and my service came with a smile. We had requested the Half-Order of Onion Rings for an appetizer, and the 20-Piece count of Boneless, Teriyaki Chicken Wings for our entrée to share. We were extremely pleased with our meal and service. Our Waitress was very friendly, punctual, and efficient. Our order was prepared freshly, piping hot, and was ever-so delicious. One of my favorite Southside restaurants. The Bubba's 33 hamburger is one of the best I've had. Very similar to a hamburger I've had in southern CA. (Slaters) & I thought that was the only place to get that burger. Bubba's however "does more than burgers", that is where the 33 comes from, but I will leave that as part of the Bubba mystic! LOL! They have a great menu and really great tasting fare. I have gotten the grilled chicken salad probably a dozen times. They also have a southwest fried chicken salad that very tasty also. They have great tasting Pizza as well. It's a great place to watch sports, have a couple of beers, and one of the many, great tasting menu offerings. Haven't been disappointed at all.
