Ham and beans dinner with greens, corn bread, and fried potatoes

Local bar but will make you feel welcome. Daily food specials and very reasonable pricing for a night out.

Staff cooking up another plan to satisfy their patrons.

I had heard the burgers here were absolutely beyond the expectations of a small establishment. Got the Beer Burger with fries. Words cannot express the emotional response but I can tell you it was succulent, cooked perfectly, portioned well, and with a touch of divinity in the burger sauce. The service by the staff was friendly and exceptional. Gave me a sense of home. The beer was fresh and frosty from the tap which was perfect on a hot day. The atmosphere of the room was pleasant and inviting. Highly recommend this Eatery to anyone. If 6 stars was an option, I'd be asking to give 7.

Popped in here after attending an art fair at the tattoo shop next door. Was welcomed by the people in the bar. They let us know the bartender would be back soon, which she was. She greeted us immediately and took our order. We shared the Chewbacca burger and tots. This burger is for cheese lovers! It's a seasoned burger topped with cheddar and mozzarella, served between two grilled cheese sandwiches m, one with American cheese, the other with Swiss. I don't care for Swiss cheese, and I still thought this was very tasty! We also had PBRs. This was on a Sunday, and they also have free chili when the Colts play. I think that's a nice touch. If you like bar food, you'll like Brewskies!

Great neighborhood pub with good beer and good food. Stoped in while in the area to watch some football. We had PBR's and the Chewbacca burger which is two grilled cheese sandwiches American and Swiss as the buns with a well seasoned burger with melted cheddar and mozzarella cheese, we also had a side of tots. This was great burger seasoned very well and lots of melted cheese and crispy grilled cheese buns, #delicious! The tots were cooked perfectly. Great sandwich!

Hubby & I had a taste for some Fried Mushrooms. Ordered a meal And the mushrooms. After taking home we found the meal was great but the mushrooms WERE BURNT- VERY VERY disappointed. Whoever cooked and packed had to realize they were going to taste awful. Come on Brewskies - you are better than that!

Breakfast bowl with sausage

My husband was getting a tattoo next door to this place and I couldn't resist the great smells coming from across the parking lot! Wandered in and everyone from the regulars at the bar to my wonderful server/bartender (Georgia) was super friendly. Ordered some breakfast and coffee and everything was super hot and delicious! And a huge portion for a very reasonable price! If you're in the area, don't sleep on this spot!

I've came here twice. Pizza is on point. The owners are down to earth folks. I'd support this business again with out any hesitation.

The potato leek hand pie was delicious and so were the Che Chori veggie Shepard's Pie Empanadas. We of course had to try as many of the Irish specialty drinks including the SNUG Butter Beer with SHANKEYS WHIP, Ginger Beer and Vanilla Cream. We had never tried Shankey's before but immediately picked up a bottle at Total Wine with If you LOVE Ginger Beer definitely try the Irish Mule S9. We also enjoyed the BELFAST COFFEE made with Pangur Potin, Shuv Cold Brew, Simple, Vanilla Cream and Cardamon. Snug Whiskey Fest is coming! May 15-17, 2026. They had the door open, which was letting in the fresh almost-spring air.) Drinks are pretty much all they have at Snug, to be honest. Don't visit thinking you're going to find a meal, because they don't have a lot of food beyond locally made hand pies and empanadas, a grazing board, and something called Snug Nuts. (Which brings to mind certain ... images.) I didn't get any food, just a Road & Coke, which is a whiskey with a Coke and lime, similar to a Cuba libre, although a Cuba uses rum. It was delicious, but a little light on the booze. It was only $5 and change, though, so it's kind of like what do you expect, really. It was a nice drink to sip slowly while I sat in the small, cozy bar. Speaking of bar aesthetics: Snug lives up to its name. It's tiny and dark but inviting. It feels like stepping into a hug. A hug that can also provide you with copious amounts of Irish whiskey, which sounds like the best kind of hug, to me.

One of my favorite memories from The District Tap actually started with a shirt…read more We were sitting on the patio overlooking Georgia Street on a Fever game day when a couple walked by wearing one of the coolest Caitlin Clark shirts we'd ever seen. We complimented it, asked where they found it, and before we knew it, we were chatting with a wonderful couple who had traveled all the way from overseas just to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever play that night. Moments like that are one of the reasons I love Indianapolis on game days. The patio was the perfect place to soak it all in. Fever fans filled the sidewalks, kids proudly carried homemade signs, and there was an excitement in the air that only comes from a city rallying behind its team. We could have people-watched for hours. Our waitress was exactly what every server should strive to be. Friendly, relaxed, and genuinely fun to talk to, she somehow mastered the art of appearing right before we found ourselves looking around for her. We never felt rushed, but we also never waited for anything. The food held up its end of the bargain too. The fried mozzarella disappeared embarrassingly fast and earned a solid 9.3 on my unofficial stretch meter. Crispy on the outside, perfectly gooey inside, with a marinara sauce that was every bit as good as the cheese itself. The chef salad was fresh, generously loaded with toppings, and easily big enough for a meal. I honestly couldn't tell you what beer I ordered... Because what I remember most is the experience. Sharing appetizers on a sunny patio, meeting fellow basketball fans from halfway around the world, and watching Indianapolis come alive before tipoff. It reminded me that sports have a funny way of turning complete strangers into friends. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're headed to Gainbridge.

Our server was friendly and responsive to one member of our group (male) but repeatedly didn't acknowledge another (female). This wasn't a one-time thing, it happened several times over the course of our visit, and it came across as dismissive. As for the drinks: beer prices were nice and cheap, but the margarita was on the expensive side and not really worth it. The place seems geared toward bigger dinner crowds, which may be why a two-person drinks-only table didn't get much attention, but being essentially ignored isn't a great look either way. We wouldn't return. 2/5.
