Second time trying this location. Food was delicious, our server was fast and friendly. It's a family-friendly restaurant and it was a calm and welcoming environment. It wasn't too busy when we had brunch and it was not chaotic. Would recommend the meat omelette.

Our server was Cali who was amazing and great vibes! The atmosphere was awesome! The food! Was delicious ! I had the breakfast lasagna and it did not disappoint! My bestie had a skillet I forgot which one then his spouse had strawberry pancakes! I will definitely be back ! Our server had to leave right before we paid and come to find out she wouldn't be getting the tip which I think is so wrong! So I'll be coming back to make sure to tip her well next time for the server that took over didn't even come introduce herself then saw us looking around like for someone to come bring a check then she just came up said "do you need something" idk I guess it was the girl cali said would take over.

We were greeted and seated promptly, the menu was robust and diverse, coffee was a good quality taste, and Shawn gave us the right amount of attention during our first dining experience here. The atmosphere is inviting and pleasant to walk into and dine in, and the egg shell lighting inspires a smile. I had the Southwest Steak and Cheese omelet with potatoes and homemade biscuit which was all tasty and on point at $14.99. Coffee a little high at $3.49, as well as my wife's latte with extra shot at $6.49. We will likely return when in the area again. A great experience.

Cutest little breakfast/brunch/lunch place near my in laws house. Finally a decent spot for when we visit. The coffee bar is legit. They have all the fancy drinks and the regular ones. They have a bar too, so you can get adult beverages with your brunch. The outdoor patio looks great for a bigger group on the nicer days. Overall service was attentive and prompt, Shawn thought of everything before we even asked. They make freshly squeezed OJ and their own biscuit. They get a rare 5 from me. We will be back.

Found a great local breakfast spot minutes from our hotel. Walked in with a 30 minute wait ahead of us, but luckily found a couple spots at the bar which is first come first serve. A sizeable menu with many unique dishes. The staff was very helpful with suggestions as so many dishes sounded wonderful. I chose the surfer girl omelet. It was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The potatoes looked ok, but tasted great. Service was wonderful and relatively quick. We enjoyed our meal and time sitting at the bar. There is a TV there as well to provide a bit of entertainment. A nice open restaurant with additional patio seating. Parking is in a shared lot with about 10 businesses. Was pretty full, but we found a space right away.

Gluten free Classic French Toast with a side of Side Canadian Bacon(4pc)

We met part of our family out for a late breakfast this morning. It was good! I was most impressed with the gluten free options. I got the gluten free classic French toast and it was amazing. Going gluten free due to health issues can be extremely hard on a foodie girl such as myself. It was great to get something besides eggs and bacon. As far as the rest of the family went, no real complaints. Someone got a stack of pancakes and they looked fluffy and amazing. Someone else got the steak and eggs which was good. Someone else got the breakfast lasagna which came with a cream sauce several relatives weren't so crazy about, but no complaints there either! Will definitely be going back to try that gluten free breakfast casserole I kept eyeballing!

French toast and bacon from The Mad Platter

Met some friends here for brunch and had a nice experience. We all seemed to enjoy what we had, but portion sizes left us all wanting a bit more, especially for the price. The Mad Platter had the option of a pancake or French toast, but you only get one each, and neither are as big as you'd expect based on what we saw/got. The prices of sides also seemed pretty steep given what you got. Last gripe about the prices, you have to pay an extra $3 for 100% maple syrup. I appreciate that it's an option, I'd just assume it would be included with whatever meal you choose. Away from all of that, the food itself is good, no real complaints there. We also really liked the atmosphere, in particular the eggshell light fixtures. Those were a nice touch, and obviously on-theme. The staff was friendly, too. Definitely worth a try if you're on the south side and looking to mix things up in the morning.

It took 3 trips for us to actually get in, but I ended up making reservations on their website just to make sure we got in this time. All of the staff were super friendly, including our server Sean. It's super cute on the inside, with egg-shaped decor everywhere and light, beachy colors. It's on the smaller side, maybe 30 tables overall. We started with the baked apple shareable. It was delicious and super fresh. I went with the chilaquiles for my entree. It was good but the breakfast potatoes were the star for me. Initially my brother ordered the breakfast lasagna, but they had just run out before we ordered. We were there around 11 so that may be something you have to order early in the day before they run out. He had the potato head casserole instead, which was still delicious. I also liked that they brought a carafe of coffee to the table so you can just refill as you like. I'm sure we'll be back!

Picture was taken 1:23, but we left at 1:37 because no one came back to get our order or bring water.

Well, my bf haircut was at 1215, we didn't know the traffic would be horrendous so when we pulled up it was 1:17pm...when we walked in we apologized for coming in late close to your closing time but the young lady Callie (not sure spelled right) reassured us it was ok. So we asked to sit outside she made the comment that yes she didn't have anyone in her section so we happily said we'd sit there. She sat us down with the menus then said she'd be back with silverware...we sat there for a good chunk of time and by then my bf said it's close to closing nevermind they'll probably hurry cook the food and it'll be not that good, so we left and when I looked at my clock in car it was 1:37pm. Don't get me wrong I get that it's not ideal but definitely wasn't going to order much and also if it was a big deal they could have told us nicely or anything communicating would have been good and appreciated. I enjoyed the welcoming but she didn't follow through with coming back as she said she would. I also know people get busy which is fine but again communication is key. We probably just stick to the brunch places downtown. And no need to reprimand the young lady, it's not what this is about, just wanting her to know that we waited but we were ready to order, eat and leave. My bf unfortunately was tired for he works night shift and needed to just eat and get home get to bed so no worries about Callie, her energy and welcoming was nice. I just hope she doesn't forget about others.

Went to try the new place Wild Eggs that took over the old Newks. We're always looking for good breakfast/brunch spots so we were really excited to try this place at 7:30 AM on a Saturday. It's so cute inside! All of the light fixtures and decor is egg themed which I thought was really cute. The menu is decent sized and had all of the usual suspects. I opted for the biscuits and gravy with both bacon gravy and chorizo gravy on the side with homes fries and hubby got the bacon city 4 egg omelette with mornay sauce and rye bread. The home fries were a home run. Seasoned and served piping hot and crispy. The biscuits were the hardest biscuit I've ever had in my life. The waitress did try/ want to make it right but after having an old hard yucky biscuit bite (actually 3 because I was trying to find a decent spot) I just didn't want them. The gravy wasn't great either. The bacon gravy had hardly any flavor and wasn't hot. The chorizo gravy wasn't hot either. Hubby is a type 1 diabetic so we made sure to ask if there was sugar in the Mornay sauce for the bacon omelette. Our waitress was really great and she went and asked the kitchen and we were told no there was no sugar in the mornay sauce but his sugar shot up and stayed high for hours even after taking extra insulin. Maybe extra sugar in the rye bread? No clue but he wasn't able to eat lunch after. Maybe it's just because it's still new that the food was not great. We will give this place another try but probably wait a couple months for the new cooks to get some time under their belts.

Service was great the server was friendly and attentive. Had the cinnamon roll which was great, icing could have been warmer, ordered a side of bacon, not sure what I just ate, maybe cardboard or plastic but definitely not bacon. I've never eaten something with no flavor, today I did. Fix the bacon that's a staple of any breakfast place. The table was comfortable and had good views. Thanks

    Kelsey's KY hot brown

I cannot express how excited I am to have Wild Eggs on the south side. They just opened and they are doing phenomenal. Despite being super busy we were seated immediately. Our server promptly greeted us. The coffee was hot and delicious as usual. Our food came out extremely fast and hot and everything was correct. Our server had already brought ketchup and hot sauce to the table just in case. Everything was so perfectly seasoned that we didn't need either of those items. I chose something I had never had which was the buffalo chicken omelette with grits of the day (sausage and cheese) and a blueberry muffin. If you like buffalo chicken dip you'll love this. The omelette was fluffy and light. There was a decent amount of chicken inside. The hot sauce and cream cheese pair nicely with the chicken. I can't wait to come back for this item again. The grits were good as usual and the blueberry muffin is the best I've ever had. Hubby ordered the Kelsey's KY hot brown as he loves getting them when we go to Louisville. The Mornay was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of turkey. The only complaint was the bacon was undercooked it would be better if they put it on top so it would be more crunchy. It doesn't come with anything else so he added on a side of the grits of the day and a blueberry muffin. I never went in the old restaurant that was here which was Newks. But the inside is super clean and very modern. They put little touches to everything including the lighting fixtures. They are shaped like a broke egg shell. Definitely stop in and give them a try.

Decided to try a different breakfast restaurant in Greenwood today and I'm glad we did. I think it may be my new favorite breakfast go-to. Parking was easy in the lot right in front of the restaurant and we got it and seated right away. I was a weekday but I'm guessing on the weekend it's probably pretty busy. Inside it is spacious and inviting. I believe they serve breakfast, brunch and early lunch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu. We said when we first ordered that we were on a bit of a time crunch but we got our food promptly and no trouble finishing on time. We both had their coffee of the day which had chocolate, whipped cream, and peppermint sticks on top. I was quite tasty. They do have other coffee concoctions also and you can make them boozy too which was surprising. I had their gravy and biscuits which were delicious. They make their gravy with bacon-yum. My husband had the California Benny with fried potatoes on the side. He said it was fantastic. Think we will have to return and try some brunch or lunch.

I had to come on here and leave a review because this place honestly blew me away. I went to…read moreTeriyaki Madness (they've got locations on the south side in Greenwood and also in the Castleton area), I believe they are also expanding to more locations and from the moment I walked in, everything about the experience was top-tier. First off, I got the spicy teriyaki chicken bowl (regular size), and I'm not exaggerating when I say it was packed with flavor. The portion size was more than fair for the price around $10.99 for the combo and it genuinely felt like you're getting your money's worth. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the sauce had just the right kick, and everything was fresh. I also grabbed an egg roll on the side (not included in the combo), and it was 100% worth it great size, crispy, and just done right. Now I'll be honest, I usually don't go for yakisoba noodles, but the co-owner, Brandy, insisted I try them. She had my girlfriend get rice so we could swap and compare, and I'm glad we did because both were seriously amazing. I'd go back for either one without hesitation. But what really made this experience stand out wasn't just the food it was the service. Brandy is hands down one of the most welcoming and genuine people I've ever met in the service industry, and I've been in it myself for over 7.5 years. The way she greeted us, asked if it was our first time, explained things, and just kept such a positive, upbeat energy the whole time it made a huge difference. She even came by to check on us while we were eating, which you barely see anymore unless you're at a sit-down restaurant and even then, some places don't do it well. She absolutely nailed it. If that's the level of care and energy she brings as a co-owner, I can only imagine how strong her team is. She sets the tone, and it shows. Overall, this place gets 5 stars across the board from me honestly, if I could give 10, I would give 12. And Brandy? 10 stars easy. She's doing everything right and deserves all the recognition. You can tell she truly cares, and that kind of effort doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you again, Brandy you're amazing at what you do. Keep being you. Your team is lucky to have you, and you're definitely setting the standard. - Gio & Marissa (the guy with the health & life science hat, you know who this is!)

It took me about 12 minutes to get my food. It was fresh and hot. It was pretty good. If you do not have enough teriyaki on your food, there is a bottle on each table you can use to add more. The staff there was ok. My interaction with them was limited, but they just did their job. The restaurant itself was very clean, and they do offer catering for those in need of meals for a special event/occasion. I liked my meal and am glad that I was able to stop by. I look forward to coming here again.

Lydia can also make yeast-free breads, sweet breads, pies, cookies, cake donuts, brownies, scones, etc. The list is available on their website with pricing. I've tried the brownies (Yum!), cinnamon rolls (even more yum!), and cookies (Yum Yum). Yes, the pricing is a little higher than mass-produced products. These are specialty products from a local, woman owned business. Easily worth supporting in my book. Vegan, paleo, gluten free, many items allergen free. Scones, cake doughnuts, cupcakes, cookies, cakes, sandwich and other breads. I try to write somewhat useful reviews so I definitely want to give this place a shout out and bring it to anyone's attention who may have concerns about certain allergens. Surely you know someone because I don't think a person counts as an actual human being these days if they don't have at least some food sensitivity (I can't believe I'm one of them!). Things to keep in mind, this isn't Ezra's, so their aim isn't necessarily "healthy." Sugar is typically a no go for me, and if that's you too, this place is probably a no go. But if you're entertaining where there are many actual human beings ( I would definitely have a human authenticity device on hand for those who claim to have none. Aliens are real, people!) or you're someone who has food sensitivities, you've got to check this place out! I haven't found any baker in Indy who only does gluten free, so again, worth the review and checking them out for this reason alone. They have no brick and mortar establishment but all local farmer's markets, and they have their schedule listed on their website. If you want to place an order other than what they offer that particular day, contact them but you will have to pick up at a farmer's market. Do I recommend them? Well, truthfully, I've only tried a delicious mini scone so far, but I am excited about their brand/their concept so if you get excited about this too, and you're not afraid of a good ol' fashion American baked good, yes, id recommend them! However, if you are looking for guilt free unbaked goods, I'd probably say go to Ezra's, as I usually do. I can't wait to read about your experience!

I had a bowl with sweet potato noodles, some veggies and the Korean crispy chicken. The flavors were good, but the thing that struck me was that some of the items were essentially cold and others were lukewarm, but none of it was really hot. I think it's an inherent property of what they do. They never "grill" or warn all these items together. It would be much better IMO if all the items were stir fried or thrown on a grill quickly together to warm up the dish and meld the flavors. That said the Korean crispy chicken was flavorful and the noodles were a highlight, and seemed to be like Thai glass noodles I've had before. My dining partner got a bowl with the same noodles, some veggies and the salmon. She really like the salmon, and said her bowl was good. The restaurant was clean, the workers were very welcoming and helpful on informing how to pick bowl items, etc. Parking was very easy. Of course they accept all the standard forms of payment, including tap to pay, etc. Overall, if you like interesting yet potentially disparate flavors together in the same bowl, you will likely enjoy BIBIBOP. Needless to say I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING ANYTHING HERE!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!

LePeep is a quaint little spot, and is bright and clean with great, friendly service. My Southwest omelette was spicy and delicious and my friend loved his steak and eggs. Definitely would be a regular at LePeep if I lived here!

I ordered my sandwich and got it without incident.....Until....... The cup of soup I ordered they didn't have enough of, so the guy said he needed to get more. I said I would wait with no problem. Seconds later he bought me out soup that I swear he added water to! It was broccoli and cheddar water! There was zero flavor and crackers didn't thicken it up! The sandwich was good. The manager did correct the issue, but overall, not a great first impression.

It's very cool on the inside with vintage and Indiana-themed decor, tin ceilings, and, of course, a potbelly stove. The staff were friendly. But brother and I were very confused about the ordering process. There wasn't a lot of directional signage showing where to start and each step of the process. I watched a few other customers go through and they didn't seem like they had a problem so maybe it was just us. Next time I would probably just order online and pick it up so I could avoid the in-person ordering process altogether. I had the turkey sandwich and it was pretty good. I would say definitely a step up from your typical sub sandwich chain in terms of flavor and toppings options. I tried the chili mac as well. The chili is definitely à la Wendy's but I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was good as well. I'd probably get either on its own but not together again. I also tried the Potbelly/Zapp's collab chips, the Hot Pepper flavor. They were good but are definitely not for everyone. When I visited, most of their fountain soda options were out of order so I settled on a no sugar added Pineapple Passionfruit juice/soda which was actually pretty good. We'll definitely be back - especially to try out their milkshakes!
