Really needs acoustic tiles. It is hard to have a conversation with all the sound bouncing off the solid surface. Our server was very kind and did a great job. They were super busy for Sunday brunch. Tried this new location of Another Broken Egg for breakfast. We were seated quickly. Service was OK. My breakfast partner and her friend split a BLT-A. They thought it was good, with nice crunchy toast and well executed bacon. They also had 1/2 order of beignets. They said these were crunchy and sweet and overall pretty good.. There were 4 in the half order. I had the shrimp and grits which was different than I have had previously in that it was more of a Cajun style with brown gravy. The dish was tasty and seasoned well, but I will say the shrimp were fairly small and were not the center piece of the dish as it has been with most other shrimp and grits dishes I have had elsewhere. It was good, but not likely something I'd feel compelled to try again. A small amount of parallel parking was available as well as a parking garage. We did not park in the garage so cannot speak to those accommodations. Restaurant was bright and clean. I'll likely go back. read more

We came in on a very snowy weekend for breakfast and some coffee. Our server was very kind and helped us pick out a couple of items. I had the eggs Benedict. The eggs were prepared perfectly, and the piece of ham was massive. The side of potatoes aren't anything too exciting but they're good. We also shared the Gouda bacon grits, which were amazing. Service with Corii was 10/10! She was very friendly, attentive, and professional! The biscuit sandwich was 8/10. It needed more gravy and the biscuit was a bit on the dry size. The iced caramel cold brew with cold foam was 10/10. It was a bit pricey but it's understandable for a new and upcoming area! I will definitely come again. read more

I was not aware that there is a whole new neighborhood developing in this area, but I am glad we have Another Broken Egg Cafe closer to my home now. I like the free parking garage right around the corner, especially since the street parking is rather limited here. I also liked that you can go ahead and get yourself on the wait list, just don't forget to check in at the host stand once you arrive. I ordered a coffee and the server then brought my guest a cup of coffee also. She tried to refuse it, but then was told to just keep it at no charge. While I enjoyed some refills, my friend did not get any refills, BUT ended up being charged for the coffee after all. She paid for it, but it did sour her on returning to this spot again. So check your bills before you pay. Also she had ordered a mimosa before even ordering her meal and received the meal and still no cocktail. Had to remind the server about her drink and finally received it as she was almost done with her meal. We did like the food, but the whole beverage situation was rather off putting. Hopefully those are just start up problems and will be resolved soon. read more

This is my 2nd time dining at Broken Egg and this experience was great just like the 1st time. Summer was our server and she took very good care of us during this visit. The food choices are great, especially if brunch is what you seek. Great food and great service. The dining area is spacious and clean and comfortable. The first time I came by I attempted to sit up at the bar with my computer, but I was never helped so I left. The second time, the gal at the bar was very nice but the food was terrible. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were very overcooked. I let her know and when she brought the eggs out again- they were so undercooked, I couldn't even scoop them out of the bowl. I have historically loved this restaurant franchise. When I saw they were opening one in Plainfield, which was very close to my home, I was thrilled. I went there with my husband for lunch and was underwhelmed. Went there again with my family and was quite disappointed. They were slow and messed up our orders both times-- this did not seem to bother them. They were not busy either time. I was hoping this would be my go-to brunch place. I'd rather drive a longer distance and have a better brunch experience. read more

I went to this location a couple days ago and have to say it was such an amazing experience. The server was fabulous and very attentive. The atmosphere of the building was lovely. The music was not too loud where it felt chaotic in the building. Besides our server, the other servers were also very lovely saying hi as they would walk by and making sure that we were all right as well. Wonderful breakfast menu. My wife had shrimp and grits as good as you get in Savannah. I had a chocolate waffle with crushed peppermint and a white chocolate ganache. Incredible food topped only by the excellent service. Most Another Broken Egg restaurants have a wait list on Saturday morning. This one is in a newly developed area of Avon and a little off the beaten path. Try it now because once the word gets out how good it is the lines will appear. The Belgian waffles were not Belgian, they were just normal. The waffles also did not match the description, we ordered a Cookie Dough belgian waffle and it came with only like 5 chunks of cookie dough. No whipped cream, no chocolate syrup, no powdered sugar, unlike what the description said. The chicken tasted mid at best like it came from Sysco. The fruit and hard, unripe, and tart. The food was absolutely horrible, i ordered the weird croissant with the eggs and weird grass base sauce that by the name did taste like grass. It came with a side of potatoes that to be frankly honest must've been cooked the day before, frozen then reheated, dry as hell. The $7 hot chocolate with "whip cream" I wish I can measure the "whip cream". At first glance you ask yourself am I sure I ordered whip cream with this thing? Short answer yes! Long answer kid portion whip cream I mean lord it must've diluted way before it landed on my table. The server I mean she must have a recorded line. Not a good morning or a how are you. She just asked what we wanted and that's about it really which is fair enough but don't expect a "friendly" or talkative server.
