The pancake was so cold the butter didn't even melt into the pancake when I spread it on.

Went for breakfast with my mom before we went grocery shopping. The hostess and our waitress were really nice but the food came out very cold. My grits were watery, pancake and hashbrowns were cold but the bacon was good. We didn't have any sugar at our table like all other tables so I had to wait to drink my tea until the waitress was available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It seemed like a great local spot that people frequent which is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I noticed the hostess knew a lot of people that were coming in and she's greeted them with hugs. I loved seeing that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]That welcoming environment is a great reason to come back but I was not pleased with how cold everything was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came in right before the morning rush so I'm not sure why it took so long. Maybe it was the call in orders? My waitress did take $2 off and offered to make it again but it was just too many items to wait that long so I decided not to.

Crazy busy on the weekends, but the hostess on duty had the situation under control and kept seating folks just as soon as guests left. Bussers doing a great job clearing the tables immediately and it's barely dry when the next round of guests is seated. Wow. This place runs like a well oiled machine. They are cranking out the food very quickly and efficiently. And it still tastes great. There is something for any taste on this extensive menu. The prices are very reasonbale and the portions are on the large side. I am so glad we tried this out. I will definitely come back here for more.

I wouldn't recommend this place unless your taste buds like crummy food and your soul loves slow service. Walked in with just a few customers and a table full of HS teens that prolly just ordered waters. Our first time here so we were looking at the menu when the server asked if we were ready to order. No, we just got here and new customers. Can you give us a min?!!! That was the wrong thing to do cuz the server didn't come back for a while. Got the food and was not pleased at all. Pancakes were fluffy and chewy. The French melt my friend got was just a cheeseburger with bread. I'm going to give it another chance and get the skillet next time. To be continued...

A homey breakfast place with polite and prompt service. I had the protein omlet which is my New Year's resolution, more protein and less carbs. It was tasty and the portion was satisfying.

We'd noticed Flap Jack's was no longer in this location and changed to The Breakfast Co. We finally had a chance to try it today since it was close to home. The strip center parking lot provides abundant parking. Speaking of parking, the waitress mentioned next Tues. 7/5, they'll be repaying the parking lot. It desperately needs to be repaved and way overdue. The restaurant has the exact same floor plan as before, counter seating, kitchen area but with a true waiting area now with seating and a hostess stand. The menu has the traditional breakast foods from the basic Eggs, proteins, and side dishes. There's Three egg omlettes plus Specialty Omelettes w/Western, Greek, Spinach and more. Breakfast Skillets are popular here with several different versions such as the Boss Skillet, Warehouse and Mediterranean Skillet. Let's not overlook the sweet and savory combinations such as French toast, waffles, pancakes, crepes, biscuit and gravy and one of my favorites Potato Pancakes. For those wanting a simple sandwich your covered here with Breakfast Sandwiches and Wraps. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy with Hash browns ($1 upcharge). I ordered a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy with hashbrowns and 1/2 ordered of French toast. I tried to order the Cinnamon French Toast but they were out. We were excited the wait wasn't long for the food to arrive. Unfortunately the biscuits and gravy were under luke warm. The flavor was good and the biscuits was fine but just hot. My French toast was hot with melting butter when they arrived. The problem was no flavor of any kind such as Vanilla , Nutmeg or Cinnamon, just Bland! Sorry but true. Our server was super friendly and tried really had but when something was needed that was missing for you to begin eating it should arrive before you take two new tables orders. Also, for the hour plus we sat here we never received a couple refill. We would of asked but she was scattered all over the restaurant and eyes never met. By the time she returned we were over it. Again, Super sweet just spread to thin. We probably want be back real soon unless the Potato Pancakes shout my name. Hope those haven't changed. Their new so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they'll work out the issues soon.

The service was fine, food was really good and you get your moneys worth! However, it wasn't very clean in the bathrooms

    Nasty food disgusting

I hated this place it has been the worst breakfast food I've ate. I wasted 10$ on a fried steak skillet and it was the worst taste ever it had no taste and it was all blend. the service was okay the females are bad asf and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is alr[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is horrible tho I do not recommend coming to this place to find breakfast food you should rather go to dennys instead. fuck breakfast co

First time to visit. We were four adults and a 3 year old. They are open 6am to 3pm daily. Nice variety of breakfast options. No gluten free or vegan options but folks with these dietary needs can find something. The Florentine Benedict ordered at our table was good. The eggs are poached style however the yolks are firm. It was noted hash-browns and their version of fried potatoes were flavorless. They have butter pecan syrup on request. Overall a good experience.

The space is big and fun, with a large dining room, an old-school video arcade game, interesting art, and a big screen playing movies, which adds to the laid-back, quirky vibe. It's counter service with clear menu boards on the wall, making ordering easy. I had the cheesy jalapeño grits with bacon and an egg and... my goodness. So incredibly delicious. One friend ordered the same grits but swapped in fried catfish instead of bacon--also a fantastic choice. Our third went with a classic plate with eggs and bacon, and let me tell you, the bacon is thick and plentiful. We ordered a side of fries for the table and there were more than enough to share. Self-serve coffee with all the fixings is a nice touch, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Fun atmosphere, great food, solid portions--definitely will be back.

The food just needed a little fine-tuning to really shine. The catfish seemed to have a beer-battered coating that felt a little soft and held onto some extra moisture instead of having that classic light crunch. I would love a bit more flavor baked right into the waffle and biscuit dough--though the gravy flavor was definitely a win! Also, the grits lean heavy into jalapeno notes rather than a creamy, cheesy base. It's such a cute venue with great energy, and a few little kitchen adjustments could make it amazing!

I got a Portuguese Skillet, the wife got her normal scrambled eggs well done, sausage, potatoes and toast. My skillet (hash browns, Chouriçoa sausage, scrambled egg, chopped peppers) came with an option of pancakes, they were good but I could have skipped them- that Skillet is filling! Everything was prepared well, came out pretty quickly. Our server, Ruth, was polite and effective. She engaged at just the right amount to make us feel welcome, without hovering. It's not inexpensive, but I do think fairly priced for today's economics, we spent $40-ish. If we lived near one of these would likely come in from time to time.

Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been in awhile.

The lighting over the tables are oval shaped as an egg and the inner parts of the light resemble an egg yolk. Cute play on the theme. Our server was very friendly so that was a good start. I had the southwestern salad with buffalo chicken. It had corn and tortilla strips (which I left off), black beans, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and bleu cheese dressing. It was super fresh and very flavorful. The chicken actually had a good buffalo flavor which many claim to have but don't. We also tried the Nutella crepes with bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and Nutella. In addition to being very large, it had a great taste and was very fresh. Another hit for sure. The avocado toast with salmon was really good. The flavors were spot on and as with the other food, very fresh and well prepared. The brisket burger patty melt was also done perfectly. The brisket patty was a perfect medium and the onions were grilled just right. We opted for mayonnaise instead of the Thousand Island dressing it comes with. The other dressing may have been good but the mayo really paired well. Finally, the club sandwich was again prepared perfectly. Fresh meat, perfectly toasted bread (some places under toast and many over toast) - it was quite tasty. The French fries were fried so that they were crispy (but not overdone) on the outside but soft inside. We were very pleased with The Yolk and would definitely return if we come back to town in the future!
