    Vegan Tacos
    Ryan A.

I've only been here during our annual visit to Post. Festival, which utilizes both the HiFi and HiFi Annex. So it's easily the quick and easy spot for food, not to mention the ability to see the shows on screen from the HiFi. The food here is excellent, very allergen-friendly, and service is top notch. I'm sure it can get frustrating with the crowds, but the staff is always so patient and helpful with all of the dietary needs of our group. (We're allergic to a lot!) I am not vegan myself, but the vegan tacos are *excellent.* Highly recommended. But honestly, there's not much here I wouldn't eat. (Except, you know, the stuff that inhibits my ability to breathe. But that is no fault of Easy Rider.) If you're in the neighborhood, especially for a show, stop in - you'll be happy you did.

came here on a saturday afternoon for brunch and they were super crowded . the place is kind a of a tight squeeze , but there was ample seating . my friend and i were lucky and grabbed an open spot at the bar top . i can't remember our waitress's name , but she was super friendly and attentive . as well as very knowledgeable of the menu . i had the mimosa flight with the chicken & waffles. 10/10 . the chicken was cooked and seasoned to perfection and it came with hot honey , which is my favorite . the mimosas were strong , and the seasonal flavor lavender lemonade was amazing .

Located in or near the old G.C. Murphy building in Fountain Square, the Easy Rider Diner offers traditional comfort food with a southwestern twist. We were seated immediately without any wait and our server was very congenial. I ordered the Chilaquiles: tortilla chips, tomatillo salsa, eggs, queso fresco, lime crema, onions, cilantro and vegan chorizo. This dish is the epitome of comfort food. I look forward to trying some of their other selections.

Only chilaquiles and the adventure of trying a new spot could've lured me out of bed on a Sunday morning after an extra long week at work. I knew I wouldn't regret it! You know this is a good spot when there's a crowd of 20+ people waiting to get seated at as soon as they opened. I was so glad I made reservations in advance. The servers were friendly and kept our coffee cups full. The food was delicious. I'm sad this place is not closer to my house, it would be a weekend staple. Chilaquiles is my absolute favorite breakfast and it didn't disappoint. The chips were a the perfect mix of crispy and salty and the verde sauce was perfectly tangy with a little spice. My brother had the biscuits and gravy and liked everything, but loved the crispy potatoes best.

So happy we had a reservation. There was an art fair going on we knew nothing about. I liked the inside, it's very diner like. My husband ordered The Square Breakfast. It had, eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. He said it was all just very basic breakfast food. Nothing really great or memorable about it. I ordered the waffle and chicken. The chicken was very flavorful and was very good. The waffle just lacked flavor. They really need to add vanilla or something to the batter. I also ordered a side of bacon. It was absolutely the worst bacon I've ever had. I took a bite or two and just left the rest. Not going to be a place we'd go back to. Food was just basic. Service was good as was the music that was being played. Mostly heard stuff from the 80s.

Can you say ca-ute!!! This place is a gem in Fountain Square. The fried chicken... is great! Seasoned and battered to perfection! I'm not a sweet potato fries person but my husband loves them. We also noticed another couple order some chicken biscuits and we ordered those to go. Yes, they have drinks too! Want something strong and lemony??? Order the Hey Cowboy. Can't wait to come back and try other things on the menu. Service was excellent and there was nice ambience about the place. Good music and soft lighting to set the perfect mood.

Great service, plenty of room for groups, reservations accepted AND their food is really tasty. I'm a fan! Creative takes on familiar favorites. We had: biscuit waffle bites flight - loved this! Came with peach butter, hot honey, raspberry purée, and apple purée/sauce. avocado turkey melt - savored this sandwich! Get the sweet potato fries - they're the best I've ever had! Excited to eat my leftovers! My friends seemed to enjoy their chilaquiles and hashbrown casserole. Yum!

I had never been to this gem and I'm embarrassed to say I hadn't been in the location since the previous place (which has been some time). It was PACKED. It wasn't necessarily a great weather day so I have to assume it was some of the eclipse traffic. They had GF items labeled, which is of course my thing. I started off with a Redneck Barbie (in honesty, this will be my last). It tasted like a sour starburst. Note - still a 5 star review so this will not hinder my decision going forward. I had the huevos rancheros, one person had the vegan tacos and another had the omelet. I grabbed pancakes and bacon to take home for my daughter. The food was phenomenal and our server was great. Every meal that came out looked absolutely delicious so I can't wait to return and sample more of the menu.

A hipster place with classic diner portions - easy rider's menu is full your favorite items with a twist. I got the strawberry and cream waffle which was overly artificial red from the syrup and it was a little soggy from how much was soaked up. I also got the sweet potato wedges which had great seasoning and were perfectly done. Overall I'm a little lukewarm but I'd give them another shot.

Second time eating at the Easy Rider. Made a reservation, but there were plenty of open tables so we were seated early. Service was a little slow and my meal was just average. I had the avocado toast that was lite on avocado, but piled high of greens and other garnishment. I've had better here, so I'll give the easy rider more more try. As it is said, the third time is a charm...

Easy Rider Diner: the dinner to the show! Located right next to the HiFI, the Easy Rider Diner is the go-to place to grab a bite before a concert. The space is somewhat small but still very cozy. They have plenty of bar style seating, which is ideal if you tend to fly solo for concert plans (and the meal before), like me I arrived at 5:30 before a 7:45 show (doors open at 7) and I had food within 20 minutes of being seated and had friendly service to boot! I ordered... Steak and cheese sandwich ($15): with pickled onions, roasted peppers, and bacon. This is the perfect sized sandwich and one of their more expensive sandwiches, so it looks like you're in for a good deal here. My only (minute) critique is that the steak is a little thick, so this is more of the knife and fork sandwich. Cool hand cuke ($7): as the resident sober gal of Yelp Indy, I love love loveeee any place that has mocktail options beyond the basic soda (which I don't even drink anyway). Bonus points for any place that offers mixed up mocktails beyond the canned/bottled mocktails. Bonus bonus points if you can get a couple different options of mixed up mocktails. Omg anyway with the drink, it's like a mix between a Moscow mule and a mojito and couldn't help myself to order a couple. It's that good. Brb placing my order to get more food from Easy Rider ‍‍

I visited Easy Rider Diner as part of a Yelp event and my husband ordered his own Vegan biscuits and gravy. The gravy had a beautiful meaty texture and was still vegan so we had a pretty tasty meal. The vibe and the overall decor is pretty colorful giving a very fusion disco yet diner ambience. The crowd was neither too laidback nor too classy making is just the perfect Friday date night dinner spot. Highly recommend trying Easy Rider Diner!!

    Mimosa flight

Was really excited to try this place based on the review's. It's in heart of Fountain Square. I'm always looking for a good brunch place. This is a good one. We tried the waffle flight, chicken and waffles with hot honey and eggs Benedict served with short rib meat. Everything was delicious but the eggs Benedict had to be the best out of the three. Even the seasoned potatoes it cane with were prepared perfectly. The waffle flight came with several dipping sauces and the waffle was cut up to. Just pick up and dip. We did not have any left overs. They have a few other items I can't wait to try like the hash brown casserole and breakfast hash. They offer a full bar and craft cocktails. There is a rewards program too. Great food and service only minor draw backs are parking and was kinda loud. Looking forward to next time.

How's parking on for a Saturday lunch?

It depends on what's going on in that area that day. I've been able to pull up and park right infront of the establishment and I've had to go around the corner and park. As long as street parking isn't closed/blocked for anything, it's pretty easy…

We also ordered the West Coast Omelet with feta, and it was packed with flavor--super fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and a generous portion. And yes... we had to add extra pancakes (no regrets), which were just as amazing the second time around.
