Yummy Pho Rare Steak, Flank & Tripe

Stopped in for dinner and was really happy I did. Parking situation is a little crazy, had to park a bit away and walk over, lots of traffic in the area. Was seated right away and given a menu. Service was quick, ordered my usual fresh rolls and pho with everything. Rolls were very good, fresh and loaded with shrimp and pork. Pho was good, nice flavor to the broth and loaded with meat. Looks like almost every other pho place inside, utilitarian and industrial. Enjoyed it and would definitely come back

I love pho, and it just happens to be in the area. I've never been here until today and I really liked their broth. It has almost like a sweet lingering taste. The portion is very generous as well. I had the egg rolls, which were delicious and crispy. The place gets pretty packed for lunch and a lot of people also get orders to go, showing that it's a favorite for a lot of people. The service is excellent, super friendly staff and fast to get food out and clean the tables. They're located in a pretty busy plaza, but the food is really good and that's why you can tell people choose to come here. I would like to try the vermicelli and rice next time. Because I'm coming back!

The atmosphere of the place is industrial, yet cozy and the staff are pleasant. The Pho is incredible! The beef rib pho was our absolute favorite! It's a giant hunk of meat and a very comforting broth. The meat and noodle portions of all the pho's are also very generous. The only critique I would have would be for the spring rolls to be a bit larger. Overall great place and we'll definitely be coming back!!

Food and drinks were great. Service was wonderful. My go to spot when I need my veggie fixing. Their zucchini noodles are so addicting and all time fave!

Wagyu beef served on a sizzling iron plate is a great deal. You would not expect such a high quality beef from a pho restaurant. A special dish created by the chef and sourced from Ranger Cattle. Love it! The pork broth was kind of salty but the side salad was great.

Hủ tiếu special is not special when there is no pork belly. Y'all should have what you put in your menu. The broth tastes just salty and water, bland. Phở with rare steak and brisket. Got home with no rare steak. No green onions. Broth has no flavor. Very disappointed. If you don't know any better.

The 3x I have been the food is just great. Meats are quality and the produce is fresh. This last time I decided to try something on the lighter side- grilled shrimp and zoodles (zuchini noodles) instead of the vermacelli. They were fresh and a healthy portion. Service is always quick and efficient too. Cute spot to eat it as well, with cool artwork on the walls! Another top reccomendation is the beef short rib and pork egg rolls!

Need to give an updated review. Years have gone by and the service and consistency of this place is still top notch! I could eat it every day. Lunch is served if you want someone other than Pho I recommend any of the charred meat plates with a side of broth.

After flicking it off the plate, the guy crawled off.

We were excited to try this place and the food looked good...until we saw the bug in the vermicelli. The tea had been good, but we gagged seeing this Lil guy crawling within our near-lunch. The host said he'd inform the kitchen, but...no thanks. The place was packed, so I wonder if like on Oprah, "everybody gets a creepy crawler in their luch!" Or we were the only lucky ones. Done with "Broth and Bugs and Basil."

As usual, I experienced excellent service, outstanding Pho and comfortable ambiance. My rare steak and brisket Pho was outstanding today. Very lean proteins and very fresh herbs and jalapeños. This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Keep up the great job! Surely a repeater for me.

Packed and painfully loud. As a Vietnamese person, flavor matters -- and this missed. Dry noodles were average, side broth had zero depth. Pho's only redeeming part was the beef rib; once that's gone, it's just bland noodle water. Veggies were sad. Meh.

Food : 4 the seafood pho was good but their hu tieu special noodle has really tasty broth with hint of fried dried shrimp in it. The spring roll was ok. Service - 5 fast Ambiance - 4 basic simple quick hop in and out setting.

If you follow Texas BBQ you will see that this is the most inexpensive way to have a dino rib. The beef rib pho is heaven on earth and the meat portion is huge (see pics). The bao bun sliders and vegan egg rolls were a delicious addition to our meal. I was super impressed with the pho. That beef rib was tender and delicious. The service was freindly and efficient and the food was very delicious. I love this area and there are many decent restaurants to enjoy. I would definitely return.

back to the noodle tour found this spot on yelp and check it…read moreout, this is the triple crown. it is cheap, good, and no tip. the place is setup like a food court essentially. you go up to the cashier to order and get a number for your table. then, someone will bring your food to you. you go to this area to get all your utencils like chopsticks, spoon, bowl, tray...etc thus, no tip. straight up china style. i order the suan chai or sour/pickle cabbage fatty beef noodle. the actual translation. wow, 14bucks, the xiao long bao was 12 bucks total under 30. everything was really good. really generous on the meat. the noodle was freshly pulled. it has the Q. the xiao long bao seems to be freshly made as well. they were bigger size than the taiwanese ones. gotta tear the skin and let some soup flow out, else u get burn if you just eat the whole thing and let the hot soup burst in your mouth. happened many times. i now always tear a piece of skin to let the soup out into the spoon holding the bao and drink it and let it cool a little before engulfing it.

The staff are also so efficient and kind whenever I've visited. I always get a beef noodle soup and douse it in spicy sauce and vinegar. The broth is always so warm and comforting and they give very generous portions of meat. The noodles are my favorite part as they are so long and thick and you can taste how fresh they are. They soak up the broth perfectly. As a pairing, I always get the mix dumpling plate. You can really tell that they make them in-house because of how unique and fresh they taste. The dumpling skins are so light and taste amazing. A top-tier spot in Austin.

But so glad we wandered in here based on great Yelp reviews! DELICOUS miso ramen!! We got the miso not (miso broth) and miso hot tonkotsu ramen (perfect amount of spicy). Cute shop. You order at the front and they have open self seating. Nice interior and we didn't wait long to order or get our food. I could definitely see this place being packed and needing to wait for a seat, but food was fantastic. Little parking lot in the back, or park on the street.

I ordered…read morethe Me So Hot ramen, which used to be one of my favorites, but it tastes completely different now, and not in a good way. The bowl was loaded with a ton of lettuce or cabbage and piles of green onions, which totally threw off the balance of the dish. Before, the flavor was rich, deep, and spicy in a satisfying way. This time it felt watered down, overly bulky from the vegetables, and the overall taste just did not resemble what I remember at all. It felt like a completely different recipe. On top of that, the restaurant was dead at lunch, which was surprising for this place. The inside layout and seating have also been changed, and the space feels less cozy and more awkward than before. The whole vibe is just different. I hate writing this because this used to be the OG best ramen spot in town, but it has gone really downhill. Between the recipe change, the overload of greens, and the interior changes, it just was not the same experience. With so many new and better options around Austin now, I will not be returning. Sadly.....Check the last two photos for reference - time/date stamp.
